I had requested and received audiobook version of this book for free from the narrator, in exchange for an unbiased review.
from the synopsis, I thought this is going to be a unique though weird / dark humorous story. But after listening to it for an hour, I couldn't figure out heads or tails of it. It all felt like nonsense. Nothing sounded remotely funny. It was all a waste of time and I had to quit midway.
I have no complaints for the narrator. He did what he could with the content he had. I have listened to his other books before and know that his delivery is always above par. But even his good delivery couldn't save this poor book.

Yeah, this is strange, unusual, dark, and demonic even maybe. Probably steer clear.
