I’ve gotten more and more into these books. The BDSM is certainly intense and book 8 was also intense. I hated the way this ended, but I’ll just have to go on to the next book to see what happens next.
Okay so first off this series is fantastic. A BDSM relationship with love and care and two men trying to be together with the obstacles of insecurities and fear and the Doms condition of autism. The but is ,THE MAIN CHARACTERS NAMES HAVE CHANGED!... The friends and family of the MC's are the same. How is it possible to have a book go thru editing and STILL have completely different names for the two most important people of the story! Dominant Greg is now Scott and the submissive Chris is now Mitch! WTH! So the story is amazing and I read it because I am addicted to it. But having the names change in the middle of the series was somewhat off-putting. I can handle typos because hell, we are all human. But Seriously??
I got the version with the correct names when I bought these, thankfully. The ending of this set is incredibly painful, I'm very close to tears.
3.5 downgraded because of the irritation of the name changes. Honestly WTAF? Thankfully they didn't use names too often. (I caught a point where Scott's initial was used so the change was intentional. The mind boggles.)
I'm honestly shocked at how much I love these books and the characters because the lack of editing drives me up the wall. But I can't stop reading them which I guess means I will overlook things if the characters and their story are emotionally satisfying enough.
