I admit I didn't want to read this book at first. I have seen by previous posts on Amazon and other websites that many have read it and enjoyed it, so when I was recommended to read this book I decided I would give it a try. I can read some BDSM and Menage, but the title threw me off I think. Boy was I ever wrong to not want to read it before now. This is a very good book in many ways. With two established storytellers both stories were good in there own right.

Tess is a sexually repressed woman. Denying her feelings/fantasties about her Stepmother's brother-Cole. Having heard about his fetish for more than standard vanilla sex, she is afraid and fasinated by him.
I really liked Cole. He was rough around the edges-what dominant isn't- but, like all of Lora's Heroes there was something dangerously sexy about him. I liked the story so well I bought the rest of the Bound series. I can't wait to see what happens with Tess's mother...oh how the mighty must fall...

This was my favorite story from this book. I haven't read alot of Jaid Black's stories, but so far this one is my favorite one she has written. Candy and J.D.'s love for one another was pretty apparent throughout the story. It didn't have the heavy BDSM storyline nor any Menage scenes...J.D. refuses to share- and I really liked the revenge/I have loved you forever storyline.
I want to thank Frencine and Colleen for letting me borrow this book. I really enjoyed it, and now I will be on the hunt for my own personal copy. Thanks friends:)

So, before I mislead everyone... I only read Surrender (Bound Hearts book 1) but they don't have it in the Goodreads library, so I selected this book because the book I read was included.
This book is about Tess. Tess who's mother is overbearing and frigid. Who's desires are "wicked" and "depraved" according to her. But she cant seem to get Cole off her mind. He works for her father, and one evening two years ago, at a party thrown by her father, Cole entices her, and makes her want him more than she's ever wanted anyone else. But because of her mother, she leaves.
Cole tries to seduce her, but Tess runs away. Afraid of her desires. Afraid of what she really wants. But when she comes back to her fathers for a party supposedly in celebration of his wedding anniversary, Tess finds Cole waiting for her. Waiting to claim her once and for all. And she really wants to be claimed...

Two very hot novellas with a slightly kinky POV.
Sins of the Father by Jaid Black - deals with an heiress, Candy, that is placed in a terrible position by the actions of her father. Her father has died and she’s tried to save his company, but JD has his eye on it and Candy. JD and Candy do have a bit of a history - but it was more her father who tried to manipulate both of them. JD has finally beeen able to take over the company and his final victory will be over Candy, the daughter of the man who pulled the rug out from under him years ago, and he has a unique way of exacting his revenge.
Surrender by Lora Leigh - deals with Cole and Tess who have been fighting an attraction for several years. Cole is very dominant and has some rather explicit ideas on how he wants Tess. Tess is interested but has been denying her feelings. There’s a rather bizarre set-up but my, oh my, is the action hot! Whoa! This one will have you sweating...

The first story -- Sins of the Father -- is really nothing more than a romance with a little sex thrown in. An okay read.
The second story -- Surrender -- was much hotter! Some very explicit sex scenes that involve bondage and a threesome -- but overall a great love story and well worth the read.

Two erotic romance tales written by two different authors. Both have a bit of a bondage theme, but are very different.
Sins of the Father by Jaid Black is a story of love and revenge combined. Feeling wronged by Candy Morgan's father, James Douglas Mahoney III decides to seek vengeance on her not by firing her, but by marrying her. The contract is brutal; the language crude, but there is a mutuality, too.
Surrender by Lora Leigh is an erotic romance with a BDSM theme. Cole wants Tess, and he wants her his way. Even more, he knows she wants him, too. Can she submit and give into her desires? And his?

My favorite between these two stories, though I thought JD's habit of leaving Candy naked and spread for his viewing pleasure was rather distasteful. This short story had a nice buildup and actually some character development. When JD isn't being mean or mocking, he was actually very nice towards Candy and though he was a very dominant man he wasn't very domineering with her. The sex between them was very sexy but in my opinion it's not kinky, though there is some anal action but I'm so immune to that kind of stuff that I don't even consider it kinky any more. Is that bad?

Wow. Lora Leigh isn't exactly subtle, is she? This first story in the Bound Hearts series is very graphic and very kinky. Poor Tess has always wanted Cole and is secretly dying to experience his brand of sex but living with her cold and belittling mother has turned her into a shell of who she could be. Her week with Cole quickly opens her up, though, (In more ways than one) and she learns to embrace who she is. There's not much in the way of character development, but there is a hot menage with Cole's best friend as the third, which makes up for any lack in story, at least in my humble opinon anyway. Just as I was enjoying the heck out of this short story, Tess's mother stepped into the picture and was an absolute buzzkill. I didn't appreciate reading an over the top sex fest and then having a character start screaming about how depraved this all was. Made me feel like I needed to go wash or something.
Bottom line, very nice anthology. Is it worth the outrageous price? Hell, no.

1st story by Jaid Black. Sins of the Father. Candy's father dies leaving her in charge of hugh co. Ex employee James Douglas Mahoney 111 takes it over and the only way she can save her family is agree to marry him and do whatever he wants.
Candy has always been in love with him and fought with her father when he fired him. Candy's father had promised James that he would marry his daughter one day, but then when he fired James he lost everything.
So he's doing this to punish her for her father treatment of him and to get what he thinks he is entitled to.
2nd Story by Lora Leigh is the 1st in Bound Heart Series. Tess is the daughter of Jason and Ella Delacourte. Jason and Ella are divorced. Jason is remarried to Missy. Missy's brother is Cole and he works for Jason in security. Cole wants Tess but wants he his way (submissive). She's liked him for years but is afraid to get involved due to his bad reputation and fears that she may lose her heart to him. She goes for a week visit to father mansion that is to end in his annual valentine party, but when she gets there only Cole is there. And he proceeds to teach her how he wants her.

Surrender is the first book in the Bound Hearts series. This story has to do with a woman who is denying the need to be dominated. The man who wants her is tired of her running away and decides to take things into his own hands. It has a menage scene and mild BDSM and I thought it was OK. 3.5 stars

An extremely wonderful anthology! I was particular to the last story although it was predictable, in a good way. I loved the idea of this unknown man who huants his every thought and turns out to be RIGHT under his nose!! The first one was really good also, really sexy and I was in awe of the bondage and submission a definite must read.
