Jack Deacon
James Christopher is an amazing story-teller and with "Jack Deacon" he is at his best! The novel begins like a Dickensian Christmas Story with a "The Hogans" era Jason Bateman playing the role of Lucifer (DON'T refer to him as Satan) in place of the ghosts. The title character faces pivotal moments in his lively past while a detective is also investigating Deacon's actions. The story is filled with twists and turns and enough blood and guts for the heartiest appetites.
