Luke and Shayla are an unlikely pair that were brought together by a cute, cuddly kitten. He is the charismatic leader of a local MC while she is an aspiring news anchor. Past and present threats - a vindictive estranged wife (in name only), challenges from a rival MC (his in-laws) and an ambitiously conniving anchorman - try to derail this couple's budding relationship. One unexpected phone call provides them with the information they need to ensure that they get to enjoy their happily ever after. I received an ARC from the author for an honest review. Happy Reading!
I liked the writing style here so 2 stars for that. However, this is a cheater’s book as Luke (H) is married for most of the story. He has a marriage-of-convenience with the daughter of another mc prez. Although they didn’t live together and have separate lives, he actually consummated that marriage even just for one night. Most of the book revolves around his wife trying to get Luke back and getting Shayla (h) out of the way. I hated it.
Luke Cinder, the leader of the Trojans MC, is a womanizer who loves to read about the ancient Greeks and Shayla Queene is an intern at the local news station who's goal is to become an investigative reporter. They are complete opposites who meet when Luke rescues a kitten and Shayla covers the story...add in a slimy co-anchor and a rival gang and you get a great story filled with lots of action and romance! A good read with a Sexy Biker!!, May 19, 2017 This is an MC book about two unlikely characters that get together. Hot, steamy, with instant chemistry. Well written and very likeable couple with Shayla and Luke. Although its not your average MC book even though Luke is a bad*** he's also very sweet which draws you into there story. I have to say that I enjoyed this book and read it pretty quickly as it held my attention. I received this book as an ARC for my honest opinion
I volunteered to review an ARC in order to provide an honest review. Claire St. Rose writes the best MC romances. Shayla and Luke were a pair that most likely wouldn't have crossed paths. Once they did, their lives became more complicated than they ever would have imagined. Great story!
