About the author

Ivana Delač (Zagreb, 1983) is Croatian science fiction and fantasy writer, who also happens to be a psychologist and soon-to-be psychotherapist, and an editor of SFeraKon annual short story collection.
Her bibliography includes around 40 short stories published in various Croatian publications, a couple of short stories published in English, and three novels - fantasy novel for children Pegazari (2009; awarded with SFERA and Artefakt awards - ebook available for free download here: https://sfera.hr/2020/sfera-preporucu...), YA urban fantasy novel Izgnani (2016; awarded with Artefakt) and Japodinine muke (2018). Besides these awards, she also won SFERA awards for best short story published in 2007 and for co-organizing educative LARP project in 2014.
In 2020, she was a Guest of Honour on Futuricon, Eurocon 2020 held in Rijeka, Croatia.
When she's not psychologizing or writing, she can be found on badminton field or hiking in the Croatian mountains.

Solidna zbirka s raznovrsnim pričama. Favoriti:

A collection of Croatian science fiction, horror and fantasy stories. I must admit it is one of more succesful collections of newest Croatian written word. Usually they turn out just awful, with over 50 % of stories or poems being just unreadable. But this is something else. There is not a single plainly bad story in this edition, and quite a few of them are actually really top class in their genres.

Ima lošijih priča kao i u svakoj drugoj Sfera zbirci, ali neke se definitivno ističu kao jako dobre. Sirene hipersvemira, Balade Bepija Bevande i Zalante odlično su napisane, prikazuju jako zanimljive svjetove i isplati se čitati zbirku samo zbog njih.

Od ostalih priča neke su u redu, ali većina je iritantna, previše zamršena ili se potpuno oslanja na twistove na kraju.
