An outstanding, comprehensive and thorough look into Nugent's lengthy career, a perfect mixture of reviews and superb reporting. To fill in all the gaps Popoff interviewed (or used interviews of) peers, friends and colleagues of Ted, including well-known producers and rock legends alike. It examines certain stories from many perspectives and viewpoints, enabling reader to have the most-realistic recollection of said events.

A must-read for fans of the Nuge, or any rock'n'roll admirers who are interested in the blistering, high-energy hard rock scene of the 70s.

An additional bonus factor is that also deals with Ted's 21st century albums (up to Shut Up & Jam).
