Anything But Minor
YES! Kate Stewart has done it again! But that's not a surprise to me. She excels in every thing she writes. She's my favorite author and she never disappoints. Anything but Minor is another smash! Home run!

I loved Alice. My god how I loved her! She was so humble, brave and down to earth. Her quirky sides were hilarious and relatable. I could easily see myself in her with her obsession with 80's movies(I'm an 80's girl) and Google but who can't! Just genius Kate Stewart. I think I might have a girl crush on Alice. She was nothing but spectacular in every way. From her smart brains, to her sensible attitude and beautiful, good heart.
Rafe made me swoon continually. I loved how he came off as a cocky and sexy ball player but showed so much depth, love and determination behind his abs and good looks. Alice and Rafe clicked instantly for me. They complemented each other perfectly. Alice might come off as a nerd but Rafe SAW her. For who she truly was and embraced every quirky side of her. He even gained some of hers. I felt their connection and jumped aboard the Alice and Rafe train. It was funny and romantic with some sexy times too. Very sexy indeed and I loved and devoured them. I loved Alice and Rafe! Together and individually.

The secondary characters were spot on as well. Dutch, Andy and Kristina were fabulous and important to the story. To Alice and Rafe. I was interested in them and they mattered to me. That's just one of the many reasons why I love Kate Stewart! Every character has something that intrigues me, fascinates me and here it was all of them. Stewart's writing is excellent as usual. She keeps me glued to the pages and rereading sentences because they hit something within me. She tried a new genre, the romantic comedy genre and she masters it. To perfection. It had everything I could have asked for in a Kate Stewart book and more. She just proved why she's my favorite author. So much heart, soul and love. In her writing, her stories and her characters.

Major Love
It's pretty obvious that I'm a huge Kate Stewart fan. So far she hasn't steered me wrong or disappointed me with her stories or characters. She excels in creating relatable, compassionate and human characters that I instantly gravitate towards.
Andy and April also appear in Anything But Minor. Major Love can be read as standalone but why on earth would you rob yourself of Alice and Rafe's story who also appear in Major Love. Their friendship with Andy and April is very important to both couples and their dynamics are fantastic and filled with humorous and lovely moments.

First of all let me tell how much I loved April and Andy. I was intrigued and curious about them in Anything But Minor and in Major Love they made my heart and soul sing. They both had so much personality and charisma that they immediately jumped into my heart and stayed firmly put.
April were out of this world fantastic. Her job as a 911 operator only showed how strong she was and how she made a difference to other people's lives when she was at work. Also her unconditional love and support for her sisters and their children were heartwarming and so freaking beautiful. She took care of others, put them first. She came second always. That's until she met the sexy and kindhearted former ball player Andy who was dealing with a broken heart. He was such a good and beautiful man who didn't want to hurt April yet he couldn't escape her either. Their connection and relationship were so well developed that I enjoyed every moment of them together. They had so much chemistry and their bantering was so much fun. Their relationship took its time because of Andy's insecurities and wanting to do right thing but it was so well written that it only strengthened their connection. Yes, they had hot sex and it was fantastic and also memorable. Kate Stewart knows how to make it interesting and fun. April definitely brought back Andy a much better man than what he used to be and together they were the perfect match.

Once again Kate Stewart has delivered another hit. Her prose is flawless and how she mixes romance and humor feels effortless. I laughed and swooned throughout Major Love. Brew Master Andy and Shero April have definitely captured my heart.

Book 1 Anything but Minor

Personally for me it was a bit hard to get into it, but once I was in I really enjoyed it!
Alice is easy to like, she has no filter and that just makes for hilarious scenes. Rafe is a baseball player who needs a scout to come see and get him with the big shots.

I really liked this one it wasn't as much drama filled then others, so it was an enjoyable read.

Book 2 Mayor Love

To be very honest I liked this one way more then the first one. Why? I'm not sure. I laughed quite a bit with them both. The are so funny together! I really liked April and Andy they are perfect together and a lot of funny things happen to them! But why waste 15 years of your life with someone you just live next to and is just for granted? In the end how many people live like that..

I'm sorry for this short review, but I have little time left these days

Kate Stewart hit it out of the park with the Balls in Play Box Set
Anything But Minor:
Kate Stewart hit this one out of the park!
Rafe aka Bullet is living the life as a player, in every sense of the word, in both his personal life and the minor league. He's waiting to be called up to the show.
The humor is off the charts with Alice - in all her nerdy ways (that I may or may not be able to relate to). The clever way that Kate Stewart is able to incorporate what we all do when we Google stuff had me LOL more times than I could keep track of. Alice was curious about life due to her upbringing, yet unsure of practically everything. She was sometimes brutally honest, not knowing when to hold her tongue (again another point that I can totally relate to). #MsMantis
The sexual tension is felt as they interact and fight the pull they both are feeling. Rafe's dirty talking darn near melted my Kindle (good reason to buy another one though - well worth the burn) and his praise, and his demand for Alice's praise, for his own appendage is hilarious! The ending had a surprise revelation that was heart warming and touching.
A must read for sure! #grandslam

Major Love:
I'm not even a beer drinker, but I'd like to brew a little something with Andy!
Kate Stewart has written an epic love story. As I was reading this book, I experienced a wide range of emotions. I enjoyed the witty banter between Andy and April. Drunk Andy at the engagement party was both heartbreaking and endearing.

On the cuff of missing out of the love he gave, but wasn't reciprocated by Kristina, Andy doesn't believe he's able to give April what she wants, but he very bluntly tells her he can give her friendship and the longest, hardest romp of her life. H.O.T. - sign me up!

"the man was a beast and had the sexual appetite of a caveman on crack."

April was a country girl at heart and I fell in love with her character. Her #bootyopera was hilarious and her comment about #stirthepuddin had me LOL and spitting my drink out, leading me to have to explain that to my family while we all sat in the living room.

As in any relationship, they must fight feelings, schedules, emotions and each other. But it's important to remember that fighting for what you want isn't always easy, but the pay-out, the reward - what you truly want, makes it all worth while.

Boundless humor, hot sex, Brew Master Andy, wedding hook-up, phone sex and ...
"Shero by night, Carolina girl by day and a (bleeping) angel underneath me."

I'm a huge fan of #AAA - #AndyandApril, #ML (#MajorLove) & #KS (#KateStewart)!

ANYTHING BUT MINOR:

This book was so much fun to read! One of my book besties read it, loved it, and told me I HAD to read it ASAP. I'm glad I listened to her!

Fabulous writing, fun story and characters that you will fall head-over-heels in love with. I felt an immediate connection to them, even the secondary characters. Thank you to the author for giving us super-sexy baseball hunk, Rafe, and also for the beautiful and intelligent "nerd" Alice with no brain-to-mouth filter. They are absolutely perfect together. I adored them and loved every minute of their story.

The chemistry between Rafe & Alice is off-the-charts smokin' HOT, which makes this book that much more enjoyable - especially the steamy scenes. Those increased my heart rate and I had to fan myself a few times. And it's possible I went back to reread them... you know, just to make sure I didn't miss anything. ;)

I thoroughly enjoyed all the 80's references!! The Jake Ryan comments made my heart go pitter-patter, as I am (still) in love with him from way back. I even have an "I <3 Jake Ryan" shirt to prove it.

This was my first book by Kate Stewart and I cannot wait to read more from her!!

MAJOR LOVE:

Did I love this story? Fuckin’ A.

Kate Stewart has written another fantastic book and has made me fall madly in love with her characters. She’s awesome like that. I knew after reading book #1 (Anything But Minor), that I would need more of Andy. And thank goodness Ms. Stewart gave us more of this sexy, romantic, dirty-talking ginger.

I think what I love most about Kate Stewart’s writing, is how she can easily pull me into her stories. She makes is so damn easy to fall in love – with the story, with the characters…with everything. The way the story is perfectly written, I am able to experience all those FEELS that I need while reading.

I was thoroughly entertained with the humor, my heart was squeezed at the emotional moments, the heart-warming parts made me feel good, and I was turned on like crazy with the super steamy scenes. Good lord, this author can write the sexy love scenes!

I recommend this book to anyone who loves a good romance with writing that will leave you begging for more.

p.s. After reading this story, I seriously need some SWAG.

Anything but Minor is an extremely sexy and hilarious romantic comedy. But, what do you expect when the book is from Kate Stewart. She writes sexy and funny like nobodies business! I loved everything about this book. There were times I laughed so hard that I almost wet myself!

Rafe and Alice are adorable. You would never put these two together in a million years, but boy do they work and make me swoon, smile, laugh out loud and even cry. Alice may seem tame. She's a well educated Flight instructor who came from a smothering, overbearing mother. Let me tell you, she is one feisty woman who won't take crap from anyone, especially Rafe. Rafe is the typical hot, cocky, self loving athlete that thinks he's got it in the bag. Alice makes him work for everything and gives him heck while doing it. We soon uncover that Rafe is way more than what he portrays on the outside.

I love that Kate can make me feel and experience so much in her books and Anything but Minor is no exception. This book is beyond five stars for me!

Run, don't walk and grab your iPad, Nook or Kindle to one click Major Love. Kate Stewart has hit it out of the ballpark once again. You are absolutely going to fall and fall hard for Andy. If you've read Anything But Minor you are well aware of both Andy and April. My heart was all in for Andy in Anything But Minor, but it is doing triple time here. Kate Stewart could write the phonebook and I'd love it. Major Love is funny, sexy, heartwarming and emotional. You will not be able to put this book down. I'm not going to give you a synopsis of this book in my review because you can read the description. But what I am going to do is tell you that it is one of my top five books of 2016! Most definitely a five star read for me.

Kate Stewart is throwing strikes with this duet about two sets of friends that fall in love over beer, baseball, and other hilarious hijinks.
These two stories are the absolute perfect combination of sweet, sexy, funny, and emotional. There are some very intense emotional moments that occur in both stories but they are perfectly placed between sweet and funny moments so that overall both books are fun reads rather than intensely emotional.
The author has done an amazing job with character and plot development. She gives us a story and characters that have multiple layers and dimensions. There is the humor that runs throughout both stories as well as all the feels and emotions involved in the growth and development of the main characters as individuals and couples. Even though these books are mostly laughs we get intense feelings when the characters are overcoming obstacles thrown at them.
I adore each of the main characters in the books. The guys are the perfect combination of cocky, arrogant athlete and sweet, sensitive, slightly damaged men. While Rafe and Andy share so many similarities, they have just as many differences. Alice and April are the same way. Both of these ladies are strong, independent, sassy, vulnerable women who are completely different. Alice is a straight up nerdy, city girl who lives her life one adventure at a time, while April is a country girl through who lives her life cautiously due to what she experiences at her job on a daily basis.
Supporting characters Dutch and Michelle and some of April's other friends are absolute gems throughout the stories.
I'd like to give Kate mad props for doing her Dispatcher research and doing my profession justice.

Anything but Minor
Anything but Minor, Kate Stewart's latest book, is a home run! It is the story of Alice, a beautiful nerd with an affinity for Google and an obsession with 80s movies, and Rafe, a hot, muscular, up and coming minor league baseball player. Theirs is is a beautiful, heartwarming, and funny love story. Itis a must read, even if you know nothing about baseball. I literally sat reading this book with a stupid grin on my face through at least half of the book. Don't get me wrong...there is plenty of steam and a bit of emotion at times, but the depth of Alice's character (and her quirks) adds so much to the story! I will definitely be adding this paperback to my collection!

Major Love
Major Love is another gem of a book from Kate Stewart. If you've read any of my other reviews of her books, you know I seriously love this woman's writing....and Major Love did not disappoint. It was funny, sad, sweet, romantic, and (yes, of course) hot.

Andy is the sexy ex-ball player with a heart of gold. April is a whole lot of sass with a Southern accent. To me they make the perfect couple...but it's not easy.

Kate had SO many great lines in this book, but this one really touched me. "Real love, the good stuff, the kind you can't live without, comes with more than just a decision to love. It comes with the price of patience and understanding."

I rate this book a solid 5 stars! I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.

Absolutely loved this box set, reading every chance I could, laughing at the constant witty humor, jokes played, that is full of steamy chemistry and of course baseball which I absolutely love. The first book was Rafe and Alice and they drew me in fast, with Rafe’s cocky attitude and his hidden devotion and Alice’s awkward but beautifully honest personality, to the next book with April whose the kicking butt southern girl whose feisty, caring, witty and beautiful who has a very sucky ex that messed with her head, and Andy who is dealing with bringing himself back to normal after a heartbreak. I honestly need MORE of these characters, I truly enjoyed reading their stories and can’t wait to read more by this author

This is a great duo. First we meet Rafe and Alice. She is a spitfire, who grew up being protected by her mom. She wants to experience life. He is a minor baseball pitcher, who is a hot playboy. It's a great book. The 2nd book is all about Andy and April who we meet in book#1. His heart has been crushed, she broke up with her boyfriend. Their story is just as good as Rafe and Alice who we see again in book #2. There is a third book which you should read and it's about Rowdy (who we meet in book 2) The Brave Line. Totally enjoyed all 3 books which can be read as standalone but start with Rafe and Alice and you will appreciate the books more

Catching up with my bad reviews and adjusting old ratings.

Kate Stewart (MF author) is on my Permanent Do Not Read shelf for multiple issues.

The author has a well-documented history of: ableism (window licker, helmet special,  special bus driver), Hitler jokes and fingerstache, ICE jokes, racial slurs, bad rep of latinas, having a white woman dress up as Madea (a black woman) and do an exaggerated blaccent, fetishizing gay men (Reverse), slut-shaming, and internalized misogyny.

Laugh out loud RomCom

This box set is one heck of a laugh out loud RomCom... I was hooked from book 1 page 1... I'm a huge baseball romance fan, so this book, yea I devoured it... it's not your typical ball romance, where there's insta love ( gag ) there is plenty of sex, love and angst in these two books, thankfully none of that insta love... haha happy reading :)

Funny, steamy, touching

It's hard to find a well written book that is both funny and sexy. Kate Stewart has done a fantastic job of balancing the two. The stories are believable and detailed enough to transport the reader, but not so much as to be boring or distracting.
The characters are warm and funny but very human...
Really great reads.

Wonderfully fun romance

This series is laugh out loud fun from start to finish. Three sexy stories with strong heroes and sassy heroines. While each of the three books are different they intertwine giving the reader a chance to revisit favorite characters. The fourth book is more of an extended epilogue but a fun way to wrap up the series.

But the storylines and, at times, excessive sex scenes got to be a little much. Some people go for that though. Still a fun read.

Love them both

Sport romance books are not typically my favorite, but I really enjoyed these two. Alice and Rafe are so cute together. Alice is such a character that is easy to connect with and laugh with! April and Andy were fun and real. Both stories were comical with just enough sap. I can see my self re-reading these soon!!

Anything But Mnior:
I don't even know where to begin with this book. I was laughing and crying through the whole book. This book was amazing. Rafe and Alice have this amazing chemistry. Alice is smart and painfully honest at times. She is tired of her sheltered life and wants a chance to have fun. Rafe has one more chance. Baseball is all he knows. He plays with all he has. This was my first read for Kate Stewart and I absolutely LOVED this book. Its dirty, sexy, funny, and sweet all rolled into one book!

Major Love:
I fell in love with Kate Stewart's work when I read Anything but Minor. This is another great book. I was beyond excited to get to read Andy's and April's story. Seriously you need this book in your library. Its amazing.!!!
