His secret could break her heart. Her secret could put his life in danger.
* St. Skin - international bestseller! * St. Skin - top 100 Kindle ebook! * Full length standalone romance with guaranteed HEA and no cheating *
Maddox: With a camera in my face, a single picture is taken, and my life is forever changed. Worst part is that I didn't even see who took my picture. At least not until I walk into St. Skin and see her standing there with a camera. The woman hired to take pictures at St. Skin while the business continues to grow. So my sanctuary from my secrets and my past are now under threat, leaving me on edge. And everywhere I go, she's there, waiting to take my picture. When things between us finally reach a breaking point, the last thing I expect is for our lips to lock, the camera to fall, and other kinds of memories begin to form. That's when Hazel exposures her heart to me, including a secret that pulls me right back into the past I escaped from.
Hazel: It was supposed to be a simple job. A bunch of tattooed hunks begging for my attention. Except one. Tall, wide shoulders, eyebrow raised, and he hates his picture taken. I'm drawn to him. At first, he's a fantasy. The man who could save me from a world nobody knows about. But then it becomes a reality when he sees firsthand the secret I've been keeping. That opens the floodgate and our lives are suddenly intertwined between passion and heartache. And soon we both realize our lives are connected way more than we could have ever possibly guessed...
Well this series just revs it up on emotion and subject matter. This one digs deep on domestic abuse and its far reaching affects.
Each characters’ life has been marred by abuse and it shades everything about them. I was surprised by the pick of Maddox to center the story on. He is barely mentioned in the other books.

No Spoilers. Advanced Reader Copy read and enjoyed the journey it took me on.
4.5 stars The things that could be said about this one; intense, sexy, hot, twists, betrayal, death, dirty, filthy, very nasty are just some. Hazel has been hired to photograph the story of St. Skin and the employees. She takes pictures and memorializes the subjects she is hired to photograph. Maddox works at St Skin and likes his privacy. When he works he is totally focused on the design he is inking on customer. His work of art. His canvas. He doesn't want or like interuptions. He is taking a smoke break in back of the building when he hears a camera clicking and turns to see a beautiful woman. She stares at him and turns to leave and disappears around the building. Hazel is hiding and on the move from her past. She has moved from place to place and each time her past shows up. She just wants to take pictures of what she is hired to do and survive. These two are surviving from their pasts, they just don't know how close their pasts really are.
Story has twists and turns that you don't expect, at least I didn't and they make a great story that I really liked.
" I am a big guy, sugar, and so I don't fall that easily" " But right now? My knees are cut up pretty bad, Understand? "
Well, they did it. I did not move from my comfy chair for 2 hours, didn't answer any messages, call nothing- this book was everything they had said it would be and more to me. Have you ever finished reading a book and thought, Wow! I really needed to read that? This is that book for me. Secret Exposure IMO a raw honest emotional rollercoaster ride, with triggers running through it, while I think they are well written and not extremely harsh it did hit me in the feels. Watching the relationship between Maddox and Hazel form - the demons and obstacles they faced internally and even together had my heart seizing more times than I care to count. I was not about to put it down; I was in deep with this story! Not all of it is heavy-hearted; there is plenty of humorous moments, copious amounts of hotness and awe lets hug it moments that round out this book so much that I hope we get more in this series!
Jaxson Kidman and London Casey have done it again - made me a little teary eyed, made me angry, but then gave me some hope. Secret Exposure is the 3rd in the St. Skin series, and what a story it is! Maddox and Hazel are two damaged people who end up finding each other when they least expect it. She's the new photographer tasked by Tate, owner of St. Skin tattoo shop, to document his shop and his crew. No one is less happy with the idea of being photographed than Maddox is. He doesn't like the exposure because he's been exposed in his past, and it wasn't a pretty time in his life. In fact, most of his life wasn't pretty. But Hazel is pretty, beautiful, in fact. And it irritates Maddox that he notices how beautiful the new photographer is. The photographer that keeps stealing pieces of his soul every time she takes a photo of him. He starts to notice other things about Hazel, though. Like how she has secrets hidden behind her eyes. How she panics sometimes for no reason that he can understand. He knows she's scared of something, but what is it?
He determines that he's going to help her, protect her, be there for her, because he wasn't there for someone in his past. He didn't notice things about this person in his past until it was too late, far, far too late. And because of that, he's got a jagged soul, a sad, sometimes angry heart. But, he won't let that happen to Hazel with the green eyes. Hazel, the woman he's starting to fall for. Hazel, the woman who doesn't want to let him into her life, expose herself to him. But, she finally lets him in because she their connection is too strong for her to keep denying. And then she decides she's going to tell him her biggest secret, but will that secret drive him away? Will she lose him?
As per usual with Jaxson and London, Secret Exposure is gritty and raw, but it's not unrelentingly dark. It's got moments of light peeking through all the grey. Maddox and Hazel have a twisted up past connection that neither knew about until almost the end, but it ends up creating a pretty special feeling of hope in their present. Without the moments of hope, I'm not sure I would have loved Secret Exposure as much as I do, but Jaxson and London know how to temper the dark. They gave Maddox and Hazel, two broken souls, hope for their future. A future that I know is going to have much more light than they previously ever had.

Maddox had been exposed to some bad sh!t from an early age..death...betrayal. He's found a home at St. Skin, a well known Tattoo Shop. Tate, the owner of the shop, has brought in a photographer to show St. Skin's story in pictures. It's less invading than a video camera, which the guys flat out rejected. The crew isn't too happy having their pictures taken either, especially Maddox. What he is interested in, is the photographer Hazel. Hazel has lived a life of ups and downs, unfortunately she's seen more downs than ups, and Maddox picks up on this rather quickly. As much as Maddox would like to dismiss her, he can't. He sees a kindred spirit in her. She's broken, like him, but maybe more so. Maddox is a man who keeps his thoughts and emotions to himself. He is strong, protective and fiercely loyal. He's faced tragedy and betrayal, vowing to never love again. Hazel has trust issues when it comes to men. Maddox is all man and he is determined to prove that to her. There's nothing he wouldn't give or do for Hazel. It seems the man, who vowed to never love again, is slowly breaking his promise to himself. Even though Maddox has had his share of nightmares, they are just distant memories now. Hazel's nightmares are actively a part of her life from which she's distancing herself...or so she thought. Maddox has a life to live and there is no going back. The past is done, finished, and nothing will change it. He will move on. Hazel? She can't move on and she can't go back. She is in limbo, just existing. Hazel needs someone to make her whole again, piece by piece. OH. MY. GOD. THIS BOOK IS AMAZING ! SO MUCH VIVID DETAIL, IT PLAYED OUT LIKE A MOVIE IN MY HEAD ! THIS IS A VERY COMPELLING STORY, LONDON AND JAXSON ARE KILLING IT WITH THIS SERIES ! ! ! Each paragraph propelling you into the next. This story is deep. It has substance. AN ABUNDANCE OF EMOTION AND HARD DRIVING CHEMISTRY BETWEEN MADDOX AND HAZEL ! ! ! ROUGH, WILD, BREAK THE BED SEX ! ! ! Invisible ties that bind them together, as if they were connected all along. Fate. DID I LIKE THIS BOOK ? (YES) OR NO I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT ! ! ! IF YOU HAVEN'T STARTED THIS SERIES, YOU NEED TO ASAP ! ! !
I was given an arc of this book for an honest review. This is book three in the St. Skin series and is about Maddox. You do not have the read the first two in order to enjoy this book. It can be read as a stand alone. Its written in alternating pov’s with both past and present chapters. This book deals with domestic abuse if this is a trigger for anyone.
Maddox is a tattoo artist at St. Skin. Hazel has been hired to take photographs by Tate to document its history and artists. Hazel takes a picture of Maddox and thats all it takes. They are instantly attracted to each other. They each come from a troubled past they are still trying to overcome. He being raised by a great aunt without parents, she being raised in domestic abuse and continuing to get caught up in the cycle. As he tries to let the demons of the past go, hers is still haunting her. Secrets come out as they fall in love and reveal they have more in common than they ever could have imagined. This is their story of beating the odds and having their HEA.
I can't get enough of the St. Skin crew and have to say this book was my favorite. To say the first meeting between Hazel and Maddox wasn't a good one is an understatement. When Hazel takes the job of photographing the life that is St. Skin she neverciunted on meeting a man like Maddox, but that's just what happens when she turns the corner to capture the back of the building. Maddox is a rough around the edges tattoo artist who doesn't appreciate his life being interrupted by said photographer, even as alluring as Hazel is. What follows for these two is rough, sweet and exactly what both of them need. Both have pasts that could send either to never wanting a relationship again and yet when you find that one they make the scary worth it. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
It took me a while to finish this just because I was struggling with Hazel's character. I didn't like her at all. She's a walking contradiction, nosey, intrusive and just dumb. She seems to have a spine and lash out at those that wouldn't hurt her but the ones that did she's a pathetic, spineless twit. I didn't feel any sympathy or empathy for her. And she just made me angry. The story was ok as a whole but I'm seeing a pattern with this author and the lead females. They're all weak, pathetic damsels in distress and I just don't care for that.

SECRET EXPOSURE
This was such a awesomely fantastic book, the authors did such an amazing job writing this book. It's a very deep and emotional story that just pulls at the heartstrings. Trust plays a big part between these wonderful characters, and they have to learn to trust each other which is very difficult for both of them. Maddox and Hazel have been through a lot in their lives, their own personal tragedies and hell, and have their own secrets to bare. But this is also the sweetest love story, where our characters come together because they see something in each other that only the other can help fix. A wonderful and entertaining story. Loved it!
Just when I thought that In Her Words was my favorite book so far, Jaxson and London came up with Secret Exposure, book three in the St. Skin series OMG! What A Story!!!! I loved Cass and Diem but Maddox and Hazel story was so emotional and heartwarming, they are my favorite couple now. Maddox is a tattoo artist at St. Skin and Hazel is a photographer. You'll laugh, you'll cry, get angry and fall apart but it's so worth it. London and Jaxson wrote an amazing and breathtaking story line, full of drama, secrets, fear, danger, domestic abuse, humor, trust, hope and love. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. No Spoilers here. Buy and read Secret Exposed you will not be disappointed!!!
They have done it again. This novel is an intense love story that we have come to love from these two amazing authors. The relationship between Maddox and Hazel is made even better with their combined past that is the same, yet different and the fact that it intersects without their knowledge just makes it that much more real. They have taken a subject, suicide, and treated it with the respect that it deserves while keeping it real it how it can affect those left behind. Loved this book. Can't wait for the next book in this series. If I could I would have given it more than 5 stars.
The duo of James and Kidman has pulled off another excellent read in the St. Skin series. After each time I finish one of these books I wonder how they can top that…and then they do. They pull out some pretty deep emotions dealing with abuse and they don’t shy away from taking you right along with them.
Secret Exposure is Maddox and Hazel’s story and both of them have had horrific childhoods but only one of them was saved by a loving relative. Prepare yourself for some big surprises in this book that will have you re-thinking a lot of what you read which only brings this story home more.
I received this book as an ARC for a freely given and honest review.
Maddox and Hazel have a painful and powerful past but that past still dictates their future. Hazel has always found her escape in taking picture. In some of her worse moments pictures acted like a balm. On the other hand Maddox has bad experiences with having his pictures taken which brings up a past that both was trying to keep hidden. They soon find themselves driven together by pain: Hazel that pain weakness and Maddox not being the savior his old girlfriend needed. Truly powerful story that at times hits a little to close to home. It's heart breaking and intense read that will stay with you and force a discussion that many people shy away from.
I knew this book was going to be an exceptional story. The characters are so real it feels as if you are right there with them. The story had some triggers but were handled so well that I could cry right along with Hazel and Maddox. I am so glad that they could grow, learn and love with all they had suffered in their lives. To the authors. THANK YOU FOR WRITING THIS BOOK. I have enjoy each book in the St. Skin Series and look forward to more.
Secret Exposure by London Casey & Jaxon Kidman - OMG!!! This truly amazing story will grab you early on and is almost impossible to put down. Extremely real as I was reading I could very clearly see / feel what was happening or being experienced. A work of art. I read an advanced readers copy of this ebook and am voluntarily leaving my review to ensure other readers do not miss out on this AMAZING story.
This book was written with so much emotion! It is a real world reality that nobody wants to expose, and talk about but you did and I appreciate it. I loved this book and felt every thing from the hurt, the pain, and the overwhelming pride of overcoming everything. Words can't express this book. But thank you.
I was reluctant to read this book. After 5 Years Later (an amazing book by the pair) I was afraid to go back into the dark. With this book they take it to a dark place but add so much light that you don't get pushed too far down. I recommend this read. Where St. Skin is a series each book can be read as a standalone. No cheating, and a HEA that will make you melt.
The dynamic duo is back. Jaxson and Karolyn are killing it with the St.Skin books. The stories are powerful and meaningful. I am loving each book in the St.Skin's series and hoping it doesn't end soon. You'll want to take a chance on reading any of the books from the St.Skin series.
Secret Exposure is Maddox and Hazel's story. Fate, Secrets, Pictures and Letters play a big role in this book.
Maddox and Hazel's romance is one filled with incredible passion but also pain and danger. They both have secrets and pasts that haunt them. When they are brought together, you really feel like they have a chance at healing. I really loved how the characters were so developed and you really felt conencted to them and their pain. It is an emotional story that takes on some very tough issues.
Wow what an emotional roller coaster you took me on. I absolutely love Maddox and Hazel's story. I have cried my eyes out. The family of St Skin is like no other. I love the writing style of Jaxson and Karolyn. Can't wait for the next one.
These guys at St Skin all have a past. It's a long twisting journey to where they are now. They have grown and rely on each other as they now are a family. I hope that each guy gets their own book as they are fabulous reading.
Wow! I was hooked from beginning to end. This story is fast paced with lots of drama and emotion. Maddox and Hazel are amazing characters and I really loved reading their story. A great read.

A story with twists that keep up the suspense to get to the end. Love has a way of happening when you least expect it. Struggles to live through but make you a stronger person if you make it through.
An amazing story. Terrifying, touching, heartbreaking, heartwarming. This one comes with a twist I didn't see coming at all and had my mouth hanging open. Loved the story and love this series.
