This book has so many twists and turns, intrigue, suspense and mystery that it kept me spellbound. So many characters crossing and double crossing one another you nneded a scorecard and spread sheet to keep track. Seth Harris suffered incredible physical and psychological torture when kidnapped at 17. As a result his whole adult life has been about plotting and executing revenge on his and his sister's kidnappers. This need for revenge has left him devoid of any real positive emotions. That is until he encounters Sasha Barlow. Sasha, herself, suffered terrible abuse from her ex-husband, leaving her scarred physically and mentally. From her first meeting with Seth she trusts him implicitly. As her Dom trainer, Seth does not go easy on Sasha but she pretty much handles everything he throws at her. When, at last, Seth's revenge is complete and he finally feels he can move on to really living, matterr arise involving Colt and the Occhipinti Mafia family that drag once again into a need for revenge. But at what price.
Make no mistake this book is brutal at times in the scenes depicting torture and death. But, the erotic encounters are equally compelling. Linzi Bassett has a real winner on her hands with this series. It holds your interest and keeps you turning the page to find out what will happen next.

Merciful : Seth’s Revenge
Another great read by the author. The story does include some triggers but I didn’t have a problem. It was full of suspense, danger, feelings of sadness and love.
Seth had one main issue to deal with, the man who held his sister and him in a hole, tortured every day, and left them to rot in the hole that was dug for them.
Sasha fell in love with Seth, even when he was trying to break it off with her. He was being protective but others saw that as something different. Sasha was there for him but Seth wasn’t opened enough to explain his reasons for the way he was treating her. Until he realized how much her loved her.
The story is a page turner. A lot of action going on, sexy scenes, decisions that had to be made, for Seth and Colt both. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. ❤️🔥❤️🔥

Once again Linzi has written a barn burner of a book. Filled with intrigue, revenge and emotions that run the gamut. The pain and suffering that Seth and Sasha go through on the road to finding what they need for themselves and each other, Oh boy! You will want to cry and laugh, curse the author (I have mad love for her fyi), yell at at some of the players, bash others over the head. You will want to have extra panties on hand, as yours may spontaneously combust from the erotic scenes. I needed a fan. HOT! HOT! HOT! There is a cliffhanger, thus the cursing at the author 😀. I am impatiently waiting for the next book in this series! Tapping my foot and drumming my fingers........

Oh wow what a twist... omg! This is it for me , those books are wild, and full of twist and turns, captivating doesn’t even begin, it ends with lust, longing, fear, gut ranching suspense. The oh so hot sex is dark but not so, so... I’m getting the hang of it now.
This is a wonderful set to read , not as a stand-alone, otherwise you’ll miss the idea behind the development of these stories.

I am in love with this series so it go to say this was another great book I highly recommend. If you are like me and love this kind of story then this series with get to you and hold your interest. The characters are believable and the story is one with heart for the lead character, I totally loved this book and you will also.

Great BDSM book
This is a BDSM novel and if you like BDSM you are sure to enjoy this story. It is set in a BDSM club in Texas and it has some dangerous action as well a lot BDSM action and some steamy scenes that you are sure to enjoy. There is very nice HEA that I am sure you will like. I recommend this book and you will not be disappointed I am sure.

A good story line but I hate how Seth is on again off again. Isn't BDSM supposed to be all about communication? Or didn't Seth take BDSM 101? Also doesn't MS Basset have an editor? Please edit edit edit.

Another great book by Linzi Basset and another great series!!!! Seth and Sasha's love story is both beautiful and heart-wrenching, at times I wanted to smack Seth Harris upside the head, read the book to find out if he is worthy of Sasha.

Seth & Sasha's story will take you on an emotional journey. Despair, pain, loss, love, revenge, hate and salvation. The mob keeps interfering with the Masters from Club Wicked Cove and you can feel it getting ready to come to a head. Another must read by Linzi Basset!

This is Seth's story, Seth was kidnapped as a teenager along with his sister. For many years Seth has be planning revenge, he has not really had a proper relationship due to his lack of emotion. Seth has agreed to be the trainer for the new Doms & Subs at the club.
Enter Sasha a sub who was violently abused by her ex husband. Joining the club as she was informed that joining the bdsm community could be a good step forward for her recovery process. There is an instant attraction between the two and after everything Sasha has been through she is surprised at how calm & relaxed that Seth makes her feel.
There is plenty twists and turns within the story and the sex well they are off the charts, impatiently awaiting the next installment.
