Rate this book
Justice always finds a way. Always.

When respected scientist Alfred Winslow is found dead in Ryders Alley, New York City, his adversary Mitchell Clayton is arrested and charged.

With a love for defending outrageous clients, criminal defense lawyer Dean Wilder is hired to defend a client that nobody else will touch. Mitchell Clayton’s public persona is a free-loving hippie whose desire for making the world a better place drives his business. In reality, he is a rich, smart business man with ideas that stray far from normal. And Wilder knows that where there is money, there is trouble.

With fanatical business supporters, Clayton is a cult-like figure to his followers. Any of them could have knocked off his antagonist.

As Wilder investigates the murder case; trouble seems to follow him.

And that is just the way Dean Wilder loves it…

Good legal thriller.

These series has good courtroom drama, not long jury selection or arguments. Perry Mason style ending. Dean Wilder is concise attorney you want to be on your side defending you.

Short and sweet
A short read that comes to life straight out of the box. The major players are retained from the previous book, as is the plot structure and even the characterisation of the defendant. Yeah, 'only the names have been changed', there is a bit of that. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it and found it entertaining. Would I recommend it?... If you liked book 1 and have a spare reading hour, then yes, I would.

This is the second offering of Dean Wilder type of defense. Again it’s an interesting story with compelling family ties and significant philosophical questions. But it’s too short and should’ve been more defined.

Super fast read

Please hire a good editor! Good book, really enjoyed it for the two hours it took to read it but tiring trying to figure what was intended be said instead of what was said.
