Seal's Bride: This is Sawyer Roman and Remy Rivers story about finding love again after several years apart. Sawyer’s a Navy Seal, on leave home, he finds out there are secrets being held back from him, involving Remy, his lost love. Remy is afraid to reveal her secret because of being threatened by this scary individual. She is afraid of this secret getting out because of who it could hurt. There are many twists and turns in this story. Remy and Sawyer have a lot of heat and passion built up. The story built up to a climatic ending and it was fantastic. There was a beautiful HEA for Remy and Sawyer. SEAL'S KISS: Rose is the new Veterinarian in town and she is ready to start fresh in a new place putting her painful past behind her. Colt is an ex Navy Seal with painful memories and past of his own. He is ordered by the local judge to do some community service all due to a drunken drawl he was involved in. He ends up assigned to Rose’s Vet Clinic to help get it cleaned up and ready to do business. This is a story of how these two help each other deal with their past that is full of demons and make a beautiful love connection full of passion and desire. SEAL'S TOUCH: Walker is a retired Navy Seal who meets this sexy stripper at a strip club in New Orleans. He ends up rescuing this stripper/dancer/waitress named Ashleigh and this sets his life into a complicated turmoil when he lets Ashleigh into his world. She is running from demons and has secrets that make her oh so complicated but Walker has secrets too and these two make an awesome couple . I loved the action and suspense that rocked this story. I loved their HEA. HARD CANDY CHRISTMAS: This is Shelby River and Wolfe Carmichael's story. Wolfe an ex-Navy Seal is on his way to a friend’s cabin when a snow storm hits. Shelby goes to the Smokies, instead of on family cruise. What happens when two strangers meet and click? A Small Town Seals Story: The boys father Arlo has suffered a heart attack. This is a touching story as the boys look back at their lives and where they are now and also how they have grown in their lives. This was a great look back at the characters and how they are now plus looking at the parents. I enjoyed this story very much. ** note this is a new story by this author***
My Rating: 5.0 stars ***** "I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***
Really enjoyed this moving romance collection. Combined rating--4.25 stars.
SEAL's Bride
Sawyer Roman and Remy River were high school sweethearts, but post high school, Sawyer joined the Navy and ended up a Navy SEAL, who would occasionally come home. The last time he did was 4 years earlier as the novel opens, and he an Remy had one sizzling night together. Sadly, in addition to leaving Remy behind the next day and breaking her heart, he left a piece of himself behind too--in the form of a fetus. In small towns secrets are hard to keep, and Remy's unwed pregnancy paints her as the town slut. Her letters to Sawyer go unanswered, and his obnoxious father demands she have an abortion, blackmails her and threatens to take custody of the child should she ever mention it to Sawyer.
Four years later, Sawyer makes it back to the U.S., spending a year in D.C. first, where he's quite the man-whore. For most of the novel, he keeps getting texts and nude photos from his former conquests and Remy wants to keep his child a secret because she's terrified of losing baby Shiloh. Sawyer's brothers and everyone else in town know about Remy's illegitimate child, but Sawyer is clueless, and rather hard to like, but by the end of the novel he does redeem himself.
This is a very heartfelt read and I enjoyed the fact that the author managed to seamlessly incorporate some of my favorite romance tropes--Navy SEAL with PTSD and survivor guilt, friends-to-lovers, second chance and secret baby. I couldn't put it down and it gets a 4.5 star rating from his reader.
SEAL's Kiss
Colt is one of the younger Roman brothers, also a former Navy SEAL and all around bad boy, who received a medical discharge when he lost his left foot and ankle, so, yes--PTSD does play a small part in this novel, as does the fact that although Colt has more than enough women willing to sleep with him, he doubts he'll ever fall in love and find one who wants him permanently. Rose, is new in town, she's the new veterinarian, and is extremely shy and hates being touched. We soon learn that 11 months earlier she was raped, but the man who raped her, Jared Chalke, is well-connected with the sheriff's department, and when she filed charges against him they were summarily ignored and dismissed. She's now in a new town and trying to start fresh, but she has a long way to go when it comes to healing. What brings Colt and Rose together is not just the ranch animals, Colt is being teased and bullied because of his injury by a bunch of rednecks, and because he gets into bar fights with them, has been assigned to do community service, which consists of him helping to get the old veterinarian's office cleaned and ready for the new vet in town, Rose. These are two likable characters with understandable issues, and while there's an instant attraction, at least it wasn't insta-love or insta-sex.
I wish I could give this second title in the collection more than a 3.5-star rating, but there were a number of issues that prevented it. First, nearly an entire chapter was repeated, and since this title was previously published separately, and is being re-released in this collection, I wondered why this problem had never been noticed or previously addressed. I also had more than one issue with the sheriff, who first assigns Colt to perform community service, which is the job of a judge, not a sheriff, something that is easy to fact-check. Second, if the sheriff is in cahoots with Jared, we're left wondering what happens to him at the end of this novel, which certainly could have used an epilogue, instead of its abrupt HEA ending. Additionally there were two things I wish hadn't been treated as afterthoughts--the first is Colt's prosthetic. It's mentioned briefly, even in the preceding novel, where he's described as walking with a limp. He shows his prosthetic to Rose, but he shouldn't have been wearing it in the shower, or, for that matter, in bed. There's was also no mention of Rose receiving any kind of psychotherapy less than a year after her rape, although she too has PTSD, anxiety attacks and nightmares. It simply didn't seem believable that she just suffered in silence. I think that if an author is going to feature characters who've suffered serious physical and/or psychological injury, that it deserves way more discussion that it received in this novel.
SEAL's Touch
SEAL's Touch is the third book about the Roman brothers in this collection, this time featuring the strong, silent, middle brother, and former-Navy SEAL, Walker Roman, and it's my favorite in the series so far--it gets a 5-star rating from this reader, since I stayed awake until almost 6:00 a.m. to finish it because I simply couldn't put it down.
Aside from his PTSD and survivor guilt from his years as a Navy SEAL, Walker has also been dealing with (or actually not dealing with) the death of his fiance, Jenny, 5 years earlier, and has sworn to never fall in love again, but come on, this is a romance novel after all. He's in a Bourbon Street, New Orleans, strip club at a bachelor party for one of his former SEAL teammates, more watching than participating in the festivities when he is approached by a sexy little redheaded cocktail waitress who calls herself "Doll." Although he's not buying what she's selling, when another drunken reveler starts to manhandle her, he steps in to rescue her. Later, as he's leaving the club via the back exit, he sees Doll in the alley, being beaten by one of the uber-large bouncers, and he rescues her yet again, this time from her "owners", the Russian mob.
Doll's real name is Ashleigh, and she's been property of the mob since the death of her drug addicted parents when she was only 16. Apparently her parents had offered her up as security for their drug debts, and now that they're dead, one from an overdose and one from suicide, Ashleigh has nothing and no one, and it's not long before she's taken by the mob as payment for what seems like a never-ending debt. She's been living in fear of them and the prospect of being sold as part of their human trafficking ring for almost a decade. By the time Walker gets her back to his hotel, she's asleep from exhaustion, and he tries to think of how keep her safely away from her "owners." Since Walker's father, "The Colonel", who is no stranger to trying to manipulate people, as we've seen in the previous two novels, has been insisting that at nearly 30, it's time for Walker to get over the death of his former fiance and find a wife. Ashleigh may just be the solution to his problem, if she'll agree to become his fake fiance for a while, where he can keep her safely at the Roman Ranch and get his overbearing father to leave him be. She considers her alternatives (being hunted, homeless and near penniless) and accepts his proposal, but as time goes by, the attraction between these two characters grows, and she gets her first taste of what a genuinely nice family the Romans are, and they make her feel like one of their own.
Can Ashleigh get over her past, her abuse, and her low self-esteem? Will Walker be able to keep her safe from the Russian mob? Will Walker finally be able to conquer his fears of romantic attachment and move forward with his life? What will happen when his overly suspicious and manipulative father demands that they marry in one month? To find out, you'll have to read this utterly absorbing, emotional and suspenseful novel. It's an excellent read.
Hard Candy Christmas
We finally get to poor Shelby River, who, once the man she always thought she'd marry, Walker Roman, paired off with Ashleigh in SEAL's Touch, had no one to call her own. When the other couples in this collection decided to cruise to Cancun for the Christmas holidays, it was more than Shelby could handle, and not wanting to be the only single person there, chose instead to hole up alone in a mountain cabin in Tennessee for 10 days, or so she thought. When she arrived in town, she was surprised to find the grocery store shelves nearly empty but was told that the locals had all heard about quite a snowstorm blowing in and stocked up, so she did as well, buying more than enough to keep her fed for the duration.
She comfortably hunkered down in the small, cozy cabin when she's startled by someone banging hard on the door. By the time she arms herself with a fireplace poker and gets up the nerve to open the door, there's no one there--or so she thinks until she sees a large lump on the porch and what looks like a human hand and arm. When she realizes it's a complete person, one who's nearly frozen to death, she manages to drag him inside. He's barely alive and hypothermic, so she bundles him up by the fireplace, eventually realizing that the only way to warm him up is to strip him of his cold, wet clothing, and share her body heat with him. When he wakes to find Shelby cuddled up next to him, he has no idea how he got there or where he is, but we learn that his name is Wolfe, and that he too is a Navy SEAL. His truck battery died on the way to a friend's cabin, where he planned to spend the Christmas holidays all alone. Shelby, once she's convinced that he's not a psycho or murderer, offers to let him stay at her cabin at least until the snow melts and he can get a tow truck to either charge or replace the battery in his truck. They are together a mere four days, but in that time have become more than friends, but the morning after they finally make love, the snow is gone and so is Wolfe, although he does leave a note and a phone number, but Shelby's call goes straight to voice mail.
This is a short, sweet novella, and although I'm certainly not a fan of insta-love, this, and the short story which follows it, were a very nice way to wrap up all the loose ends, and it gets 4 stars from this reader.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this anthology and received no compensation for so doing.
I read these all individually, but the reviews would still be the same for the set. I read these out of order, but it didn't hurt the story telling. They are really good stories, well worth the reading time & money.
SEAL's Bride: A Secret Baby Romance- This book was my least favorite of the 3 brothers. This is about Sawyer & Remy, I just didn't like Sawyer, not thru the whole book. He just came off as a spoiled, selfish man whore, in my mind. I did like Remy, though, she really was trying to do her best for her son. I really felt like Sawyer only wanted what he couldn't have with Remy turning him down time after time. I never really felt that he was in love with her, it felt like just lust. I did feel she was in love with him though. The whole story just seemed to revolve around issues resulting from a lack of communication. There was a lot of issues between Sawyer & Remy that went unresolved, that I think were just brushed off by the author, but shouldn't have been, to make the story more cohesive (like what really happened to the mail they each sent and was never received, & when she left D.C. over the other woman interfering, it was just dropped when he proposed to her after getting back like the proposal negated everything, & why did the other 2 brothers come to the conclusion that they did about who was the father of Shilo, there was no logic to that, as some examples of things that left questions in my mind & hurt the enjoyment factor)
SEAL's Kiss: A Small Town Bad Boy Romance - I read this book first, so my opinions of the brothers change from book to book. I enjoyed this book, but I tend to love those bad boy SEALS! This story flowed well, with Colt & Rose being very likable & being able to see their relationship develop instead of lust being labeled love was refreshing. I also really liked his brothers, Sawyer & Walker. The book is a separate entity in the series, you don't have to read the oldest brother's book first in order to understand anything about this story. I didn't even realize the author had written a book about the brother (Sawyer) until I went to leave the review, & saw it. Now, for the things that brought it down-The sheriff thing seemed off, I'm in Texas, towns here don't share a police department especially an hour away, & it sounded like it was a different one that gave Colt the community service for fighting, than the crooked one from the next town. Also, judges assign community service, not the sheriff. I also felt Colt's missing limb/prosthetic wasn't addressed competently, some of the activities seemed to gloss over it like it wasn't a problem or treated like he didn't have a missing limb (like the shower sex scene- wouldn't he have taken off the prosthetic in the shower? or when he takes his boots & pants off before getting into bed for sex). I realize we weren't supposed to focus on those details in the story, but if he has the handicap & it's used in some scenes, shouldn't it be addressed in others even if it's mundane, daily type of things having to be dealt with. It felt like it was treated like a prop to effect certain scenes in the story not a real issue.
SEAL's Touch: A Standalone Bad Boy Romance - I think this was my favorite of the 3 brothers' stories! But I seem to like those strong silent types like Walker, helps that he didn't seem like a man-whore either. Walker & Ashleigh are perfect together. I like how she got him to open up to her, where he wouldn't with anyone else. I also love how he accepted all of her in spite of her past. Glad for their HEA. The story flowed smoothly, there were a few places that I felt left me with questions. But over all a great read.
Before I break down each story I just wanna say overall it wasn't consistent, First with the Arlo he claimed he "interfered" with Sawyer and Remy's relationship b/c he wanted better for his son for him to do all the thing he could b/c he had an arrange marriage at 19, but from Remy's POV in the book he called her all types of names as if she got pregnant on purpose just so she can trap his son b/c he comes from money and hers doesn't. Then with the Marilee they portrayed it like none of the Roman sons liked her at all b/c she was the mistress but at the very last story(A Small Town SEALs Story) they started calling her mom where did that come from. Then the kids situation at the end of Colt's story(SEALs Kiss) Sawyer and Remy named their daughter Riley, but all throughout Walker's story(SEALs Touch) her name changed to Harper. And at the end of Walker's story they said Colt and Rose had a son but in the last story(A Small Town SEALs Story) they have a daughter named Emma. Those were the main things that caught my attention that may be small but just bother me.
SEALs Bride(Sawyer & Remy) It was a weird that on a second chance at love b/c the main thing that bothered me was the fact that Sawyer was a manwhore even when he claimed he was trying to get back with Remy that bothered me with the phone thing, and the fact that how did it take him so long to find out about his son if they all live in this small town where everyone is in everyone's business
SEALs Kiss(Colt & Rose) They were a cute couple they mesh well together b/c they both felt broken in their own way but in the end they proved to the other that nothing was wrong with them. One other thing was even though they touched on the fact that Colt was missing his left foot sometime I think they forgot when they described certain parts like when they were in the shower together how did he carry Rose to bed from after being in the shower if he only has one foot b/c it would be strange if he showers with his prosthetic foot on
SEALs Touch(Walker & Ashleigh) I really liked them as a couple the best I just didn't like the storyline they were given, why do the "fake couple" turn real couple thing. It just seemed unneeded b/c Walker and his dad never seem to talk or like each other so where did it come from that he was "telling" him it's time for him to settle down and his brothers mostly teased him about finding someone. I just didn't understand why bring home a fake fiancee, if you took that away they were a great couple and had plenty of drama that could have built their story better.
Hard Candy Christmas(Shelby & Wolfe) At first I wanted Shelby to have her own book but I changed my mind after reading this one it just portrayed her wrong to me b/c at first in SEALs Touch she was a too flirty with Walker at the fair but by the end of the book it made it seem like they made up and was BBF with Ashleigh. So now in her book it made her seem bitter towards Walker and Ash relationship b/c even though she "claims" she never had romantic feelings for Walker she still wasn't happy that he was married and she was single and how they were "supposed" to end up together eventually. So to me it was just a here is a man for you so she wasn't the single one left.

I'm voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book series. Seals Bride I absolute loved this book. Seeing how people interfering with others lives can mess things up so badly, makes me want to just beat someone. Sawyer follows in his fathers footsteps and goes into the military. He becomes a seal and rarely goes home to visit. Four years ago was the last visit he made, and doesn't know that he actually left more behind than he thought. Remy has been in love with Sawyer for years. While he's home on leave its just natural to fall back into old habits with him. Unfortunately, when he left the last time, he left her with his baby. She writes him but never hears back, and then his father, the Colonel, comes and threatens to take her child and everything her family owns if she doesn't leave Sawyer in the dark about his child. When he returns she hopes she can keep him a secret, but unfortunate circumstances causes her to tell him. What happens next isn't exactly what you'd expect. Seals Kiss An outstanding addition to the series! The characters are amazing and the story line just draws me in until I blink and realize I've read the whole thing in one sitting. The Roman brothers are hotter than hot and fiercely protective of what's theirs. I cannot wait to see what happens with Walker, if he falls as quickly as Colt and Sawyer, it'll be another epic read. Thank you for another amazing read! Seals touch I fell in love with this family from the very beginning. Sawyer & Remy, Colt & Rose all had their own stories to tell, much like Walker & Ashleigh do in this book. Walker always was the backward standoffish brother that no one really knew about...but there was something about him from the first that had me wondering what his story was. I found out in this book and wanted to weep. Ashleigh brought him through the bad and made him fell like he had sunlight in his life again in a short period of time. After he saved her the first time, you can see the chemistry they had between them was strong and wouldn't hold out much longer. After she finally talked him into taking her on her first date, things progress quickly from there. But as all Roman brothers stories have gone, there's some major problems that arise that'll change things quickly. Saving her a second time may cost him his life, but it is so worth it. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see if he was going to make it. Through many tears, both sad and happy, I'm recommending this book to everyone, you don't have to read the first two books to know what's happening, but they're definitely worth the read as well if you haven't already. Hard Candy Kisses Another great story for the series! I had wondered what would happen to Shelby after Walker found his love, but I never expected this steamy little story. Wolfe and Shelby are learning one another in a non-traditional way...being snowed in together after a near death experience for Wolfe. The end to their story brought tears to my eyes honestly.
Whenever I see the name Vivian Wood on a book, I know I am guaranteed to experience an amazing story. There is, of course, the fantastic lovers battling inner demons and outside influences, a mystery that puzzles and mystifies and a host of supporting characters that bring color, humor and love to the environment. The SEAL stories, I feel, are her crowning achievement. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Five Stars. SEAL'S BRIDE Beautiful story of two hearts working through four years of a huge secret. Remy is afraid to reveal her secret due to threats from an individual. Sawyer is frustrated because he senses there is something she is not telling him and it seems like everyone knows but him. The story will keep you enthralled as you keep hoping someone will "spill the beans". Loved the anticipation, the excitement and how the characters dealt with their magnetic attraction to each other within the context of secrets. SEAL'S KISS Rose is the new Veterinarian in town, setting up her clinic in hopes of making a new start in life, putting painful, shameful memories behind her. Colt is an ex Navy Seal with painful memories of his own. He is ordered by the local judge to do some community service because of a drunken brawl he got into. He is assigned to help the new Veterinarian get the old clinic spruced up for business. What follows is an entertaining reading adventure as Colt deals with his anger issues, Rose works on her attraction and responses to Colt in light of her past trauma and outside forces stir up old demons. Most exciting and well done. SEAL'S TOUCH Walker is a retired Navy Seal reluctantly joining a small group of his buddies at a strip club in New Orleans to celebrate a bachelor party for his friend. Unexpectedly, he ends up rescuing a stripper/waitress and complicates his troubled emotions and life. Ashleigh has secrets and demons that imprison her in a world of darkness, fear and hopelessness. Walker has his own darkness of regrets. It's an exciting drama of personal challenges, family dynamics and overcoming dangerous threats. Well crafted, holds one's interest and entertains the heart with romance. HARD CANDY CHRISTMAS Shelby is seeking some alone time over the Christmas holidays by renting a cabin in the mountains. But a blizzard soon moves into the area and brings a surprise in the form of a nearly frozen man buried in snow on her front porch. By the time the storm passes and the snow melts, Shelby & Wolfe are planning a new future together. A SMALL TOWN SEAL'S STORY Arlo, patriarch of the Roman family suffers a heart attack. This event causes every family member to reflect on the blessings of their family. A short novella gives us a snap shot view of each Roman brother and their loving wives and children. Nice touch to closing the series.
Small Town SEALs: The Complete Romance Collection by Wall Street Journal and USA Today Bestseller Vivian Wood
Small Town SEALs is a collection of 4 SEAL Romances and 1 Christmas Romance but this review will focus on SEAL's Touch. Ex-SEAL Walker gets dragged to a strip club for his fellow ex-SEAL friend Carter's bachelor party, but isn't excited to be there like his friends because strip clubs have never appealed to him. Walker's family's been bugging him to settle down and get married, what with him being 29 and all. Walker's brothers have even lined up a candidate for him, but he's just not interested in tying the knot ... until he saw a sexy red-headed waitress at the strip club. After Walker and his friends are kicked out of the strip club and banned from coming back when one of his friends manhandles Ashleigh, Walker's friends bug him to go back and give the waitress his number. Walker agrees in order to get his friends off his back and walks around to the back entrance where he sees the waitress getting roughed up by the bouncer. An enraged Walker knocks out the bouncer and takes Ashleigh back to his hotel, where she falls asleep.
Ashleigh wakes up in Walker's bed, and wakes him up to thank him before she leaves, but she has no money and nowhere to go. Ashleigh was taken by the Russian at age 16 and forced to work at the strip club to pay off her dead drug addict parents' debts. The club owners have threatened to either sell her to a Middle Eastern sheikh or as a s** slave. After Walker hears Ashleigh's story, he puts forth a proposition ... Ashleigh could go back home with him as his fake fiancée. Ashleigh would be far away and safe from Russian mob and Walker's family would stop pressuring him to settle down if he returned with a fake fiancée. Ashleigh agrees and soon settles into a happy life with the sweet, nice and gorgeous Walker. After Walker's overbearing father sets a wedding date, Ashleigh goes into town to select a wedding dress. Unfortunately, as Ashleigh is having lunch after selecting a dress, she notices her ex-workers taking photos of her, then the club's bouncer shows up and tells her "You either need to come back with me right now, or you cough up a million dollars for Mr. Solokov to pay off your debt.” Will Walker be able to keep Ashleigh safe now that the Russian mob have found her?
SEAL's Touch is a gripping story that's thrilling, suspenseful and steamy. Vivian Wood's hero and heroine's deep connection grew over time into something more, and their sizzling chemistry is red hot, making for a very exciting and tantalizing read. I highly recommend this book.

Another great box collection of Vivian Wood's stories. I loved this set and highly recommend it. I give it 5 star rating. "I voluntarily read and reviewed this advanced copy without pressure to do so". Here are a few of them.
Seal's Bride: This is Sawyer Roman and Remy Rivers story about finding love again. Sawyer has been a Navy Seal for years. On a trip home he leaves more behind than he thought. Will meddling parents continue to keep them apart? Will a lie by omission be the death of this budding resurgence of feelings? This is a must read at 5 stars.
Seals Kiss: This is Colt and Rose's story. Colt is the middle brother and has lost his foot in Afghanistan. Which gets him in trouble fighting and he ends having to help the new vet fix up the clinic. Rose has come to town to be the veterinarian and escape her home town. This great story contains strong characters, assault, an evil developer and corrupt sheriff. It sure kept my interest and I couldn't put it down. I give it 5 stars.
Seal's Touch: This is the third and final story in the Small Town Seals series. This is Walker and Ashleigh"s story. I really liked this story of a young lady who has been brainwashed into thinking she owes a debt. She is living her life as a sex slave when she meets Walker. Walker is an ex-Navy Seal, who is being pressured by his father to marry. After learning Ash's story he takes her home. Will the ruse go as planed? Will the fake engagement stay just that?
Hard Candy Christmas: This is Shelby River and Wolfe Carmichael's story. Shelby has escaped to the Smokies, instead of attending the family Christmas Cruise. Wolfe an ex-Navy Seal is on his way to a friends cabin til a snow storm hits. What do two strangers do on Christmas Eve you play Truth or Dare.
A Small Town Seals Story: We find the Roman family headed for the hospital. The boys father Arlo has suffered a heat attack. It is a very touching story of growth, regret, and acceptance. I liked visiting all the characters again and learning about how their life and thought had changed.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Wow, what a great collection of Ms Wood's Seal books. I enjoyed all three of the main books as well as her two bonus books that were included. All three couples and their stories were each different. From Remey and Sawyer's story of childhood sweetharts given a second chance in Seals Bride. To Seals Kiss with Colt and Rose and the challenges they face. Colt dealing with his injury he suffered while in the SEALS and Rose dealing with the assault she suffered and the fact that the guy who did it followed her to her new town. Then there is Seals Touch, Walker and Ashleigh's story. Walker is the second of the three Roman brothers. He is having a hard time dealing with his PTSD and the loss of his fiance a few years back. Ashleigh is a waitress he rescues not once but twice at a strip club she works at. Of the three books Seals Touch by far is is my favorite. I also enjoyed Hard Candy Christmas featuring Shelby and Wolfe. I loved the last story; A Small Town's Seal Story where you get to revisit all four couples and find out what has happened since reading their stories last. Loved this collection!
Seal's Bride is Sawyer Roman and Remy River's second chance romance. High school sweethearts to be reunited years later with a surprise. Seal's Kiss is Colt Roman and Rose's story. Rose is the new Veterinarian in town and Colt is ex-Marine who gets in a fight while drunk and a judge assigns him to do community service at Rose's Vet Clinic. Seal's Touch is Walker and Ashleigh's story. They meet at a strip club in New Orleans while he is at a bachelor party. He rescues Ashleigh a stripper from a beating by one of the bouncers at the club. The three Seal's stories are about the Roman brothers and I really enjoyed reading each of them. In this collection we also get Hard Candy Christmas a sweet novella about Shelby a friend of the Roman brothers and ex of Walker from Seal's Touch. We also get a bonus novella about Arlo Roman father of the Roman brothers. I loved this Complete Romance Collection of Vivian Wood's stories and I look forward to reading more books by this author. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
This set is filled with five stirring stories that pull your heartstrings as you are drawn into the lives of each character. The dynamic plots and vivid breathtaking scene descriptions wow you. The family drama, humor, suspense and action spice up the stories too. Of course, each story has a blissful happy ever after but not until all the obstacles are put to rest.
Each story is fast paced and skillfully written with a bit of reality and fantasy making them quite impressive. The intriguing back stories give you insight into each character's persona, the sensuous romances are genuine and filled with much-heated passion. If you treasure Navy Seal romances this is definitely a fabulous set for your library. I enjoyed and loved all the stories in this set so {I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy.} Without reservations, I highly recommend this set.
This book is the whole collection of the seal's trilogy!! I loved all the books l! You get Seal's bride which is about a secret baby story which is one of my favorite genres so it's my favorite of the bunch. Sawyer and Remy have been apart for 4 years but together fir years before. It was a hard road fir them both. Then we go to brother number 2 in Seal's Kiss, Colt and Rose. They have a hard time because of their tormented pasts. Then book 3 that revolves around Walker and Ashleigh. This was my second favorite, Walker is fighting a ghost and trying to keep his bachelorhood while Ashleigh is trying to escape her past. Book 4 is about Shelby the one woman who though in her heart she would end up with Walker forever. She meets her forever in the mist wired was at Christmas no less. Book 5 bring the whole series to a close. It was a great series and it's wonderful that you get them all together. Way to go Vivian. So obviously. No cliffhangers and all you want of HEA's. Enjoy!!!
Seal's Bride - Remy and Sawyer have been friends since they were kids. Then he took off for the Navy. These two are so good together, but things get complicated. Sawyer and his brothers are summoned by their father. Remy is one heck of a strong woman, and I love her character so much!!
Seal's Kiss - Colt gets into trouble and has to do some community service helping the new Vet in town get ready to open. Dr. Rose Elliott is stunning and dealing with a pain full past. Then her past shows up and fireworks happen. So glad with how this one ended!
Seal's Touch - Walker is out with his Seal buddies for a bachelor party, when Doll (Ashleigh) gets his attention. When she gets into trouble, he can't just stand by and let it happen. So he comes up with a plan to rescue her and get himself out of a bind as well. I love these two and how they came together. I think they are my favorite of the couples.
Hard Candy Christmas - Shelby decides she would rather spend the holiday alone than play the 3rd wheel to all of her friends/family. Wolfe shows up in the middle of the night almost dead from the cold. SO very happy that Shelby got her story told as well. I was hoping that she would find a happy ending.
A Small town Seal's story - This was the perfect way to sum up the series and wrap everything up! Walker gets a call no one ever wants to get and everyone rushes to the hospital. Don't want to spoil anything, but I loved how everything all worked out!!!
SEAL's Kiss by Vivian Wood is a small town bad boy romance. It features several characters that have appeared in SEAL's Bride following the Roman brothers. SEAL's Kiss is Colt's story. Vivian writes hard men who have made or live difficult choices. However, they are strong alpha males who will go after what they want after they've fully decided that's what they want.
I breezed through this story, start to finish.
If you are looking for a book with a military man who is an alpha and will rock your world, this book will meet that criteria and more.
SEAL's Touch is the third book of the Small Town SEALs series. I have read each book in this series and they just keep getting better. I especially enjoyed this one. I loved the characters, they touched my heart and I felt what they felt. Well done and loved every page of it.
I have read all three of these book separately and read them again in this collection, I loved every story about the Roman brothers, Sawyer, Walker and Colt and of course the three women who stole each of their hearts, Remy, Ashleigh and Rose. Not only do you get to read about the three hot alpha men but there are 2 bonus stories. Shelby, Remy's sister, played a part in each of the three separate stories and the author wrote her story as well, having her find her HEA finally. Not only that but we finally get to see Arlo, their father, actually become a human and show some emotions. Great collection and bonus stories!! *I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book*
This is a great set of romances. The men are strong and determined to protect the women they love.
Seal's Touch is one of my favorites in the set. Walker and Ashleigh have demons that haunt them. When he tries to save her from danger, he gets more than he bargained for.
I liked that the author did not rush their relationship. You see it develop over time as they learn more about each other and understand how much pain they share. There is a lot of action in the story too and plenty of surprises..
What an amazing buddle this boxset is! Each story is unique, and intriguing, with strong sexy alphas, and the women who are their perfect soulmates. These are steamy romances, with second chances, and loads of love. These are well written and beautiful stories, which hooked me from the very beginning. I love this talented author’s work, and she never disappoints her readers. Look forward to reading more from her, and I recommend her work for all romance readers. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book!
I had read each of these books separately before, so it was wonderfully nostalgic to read them again. Reading them together makes the tie-ins between the siblings that much better. And the last one works like an extended epilogue, very satisfying. I loved each of these stories individually and together they are a wonderful escape. Vivian Wood really knows how to combine heartfelt love stories with setting the sheets on fire intimate scenes. I’ll read anything this author writes, anytime. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
I received an ARC of this book which I voluntarily reviewed. Small Town Seals is a box set of 3 Vivian Wood novels plus 2 novellas about the Roman brothers and how they meet their brides. I loved this set, I read it in one sitting! I had previously read Sawyer and Remy's story so it was great to catch up with Colt and Walker too. The first novella Hard Candy Christmas is the story of Remy's sister Shelby who also meets a Seal (Wolfe) and the collection is wrapped up neatly with the final novella. This set is fantastic value and highly recommended!
Hot as hell ex-Navy SEALs? Check! Strong and adorable women to match them? Check! Looking for an awesome bundle of exciting stories about them? Check! Loving second chance love stories? Check! This is one of the most awesome collections of Navy Seal books I read so far and I loved them all! Vivian is an artist with creating wonderful plots, describing characters and sparking emotions and she never disappoints in excelling herself with every new book!
Vivian Wood's Small Town SEALs set is fantastic. I own all the main books, and the bonus books are great additions to this collection. You'll find hot, alpha male military men in these stories as they find their love interests. Great stories, great steam, and each book in this series will definitely keep you engaged. I loved each book, as well as the bonuses. I'd highly recommend this collection! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this set and also own the books.
This is a compilation of 8 separate stories all in one fabulous, sexy and hot box set. These stories are all hot enough to melt your panties and fry your Kindle. Lots of hot sex, angst, emotions and HEA to keep you busy on a long weekend. This book should come with a warning sign saying "Do not try to read this book on a night where you have to get up early the next day because you will not be able to put it down!!!" I received an ARC and I am leaving a voluntary review
This is one collection you do not want to miss! Each book in the box set has it's own unique story-line with strong determined Alpha men and their women that will keep you turning the pages too see Sawyer and Remy, Colt and Rose, Walker's and Ashleigh. They are filled with action, danger, suspense and sizzling heat. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this collection.
An amazing collection that gives you all of Vivian Wood's Roman Brothers in one boxed set. so you get three full length books, a novella and brand new short story. If you enjoy books with excellent writing, interesting storylines, charming, hot, sexy SEALs and steamy romance this collection is for you. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.
Sassy, sexy seals!! Very sexy seals, hot romance, suspense, and sensual with a little heart warning to wrap it all up. This series was so good I didn't want it to end. This collection is the complete series and you won't want to Pitt it down until you finish the last story. Vivian Wood never disappoints. I highly recommend this set.
SMALL TOWN SEALS box set 1-3 with two extra bonus stories. I liked the fact we get stories for two characters added in. The one for Shelby I wanted to read, the one about The Colonel. Bah Humbug.
1 - SEAL’S BRIDE This story is exactly what the title says it is. Unfortunately, this storyline has been done so many times that you know what is going to happen. Saying that it is still an enjoyable well written read with very interesting characters and a good plot. What a piece of work Sawyer, Colt and Walker’s father was, sorry, have to call him The Colonel from now on as he was not a father in any sense of the word. I liked Remy and thought she had done a good job in difficult circumstances with great support from her family. I found the ending a bit anti climatic because it all seemed to rush from the drama of Marissa, the booty call girlfriend to a proposal to Remy and I did not understand how she accepted his proposal without even talking things out. There was no discussion asking him about what happened with Marissa after Remy left, she did not know if he stayed with Marissa after texting her and seeing her at the funeral. We know he didn’t but Remy didn’t. Why was The Colonel at the block of land to see Sawyer propose, everyone hates him and nothing was said about him trying to buy off Remy to get rid of the baby. Shiloh would not exist if the Colonel had his way. Hope both Colt and Walker get their own HEA’s. This is my honest review for this book. 2 - SEAL’S KISS A very enjoyable read. Okay, this book really had me glued until the end. The story and the tension was brilliant. I cannot say too much without giving the story away but well worth reading. I thought I was not going to like Colt very much after reading the blurb as I do not like man whores but he was not as bad as I expected, in fact he was a normal man with a touchy temper about his disability, which did not seem to hamper him much at all. Rose, oh my I so wanted to be her friend and cuddle her but Rose was a lot stronger than you first think she is. She stood up to Jared twice and she managed to get her own back in the end. It was lovely to be with the family again and see how happy Remy and Sawyer from book 1 were and how much more mature Sawyer was. I was so glad the rotten Colonel was not in it much. Walker is next, who is he going to find his HEA with? This is my honest review of this book. 3 - SEAL’S TOUCH Have waited a while for the final Roman brother to get his HEA. Walker has always been the quiet one with something in his background that hurt him. We know he was engaged before but now we find out more facts that explain his behaviour. Loved his idea to help them both out, Walker from his family’s matchmaking and Ashleigh from a horrible fate. Ashleigh really had been abused and mistreated by her drug addict parents and my heart bleed for what she had gone through. She must have been a strong character to still function as a human being after the way she had had to live. Surviving does not always mean keeping your humanity. Glad Walker told his brothers the truth about Jennifer but he never gave Ashleigh that honesty. It might have helped her. Really enjoyed this story but would have liked a bit more romance to go with the sex, some cuddling in front of the tv or something to show they were getting to know each other. Still dislike the Colonel but loved the bad guys getting theirs. Their personal vows at the end made me teary. I wonder if Shelby will get her own HEA, maybe with one of Walkers seal buddies but I was not sure what that interaction at the fair was about. Seemed out of character for Shelby to act like that. Has the bonus of having COVET in this book as well. Two books for one. I have a separate review for Covet. This is my honest review of this book. 3.1 - HARD CANDY CHRISTMAS also in BAD BOYS UNDER THE MISTLEOE This is Shelby’s story and boy it is good. Shelby is seeking some alone time to get over her hurt feelings about Walker. By renting a cabin in the mountains over the Christmas holidays whilst all the loved up couples are away on a cruise. Cannot say I would want to be odd man out either. During the night whilst a blizzard is raging Shelby hears noises at the cabin door. Imagine her surprise to find a half frozen man buried in snow on her front porch. Shelby of course saves him and meets the man for her. Wolfe was a wonderful surprise addition to this great bunch of people. The fact he was also a Navy Seal made me laugh. After being together a few days whilst the storm rages Shelby and Wolfe realise what the other means to them and start planning a future together. 3.2 - A SMALL TOWN SEAL'S STORY This short novella is about the Colonel and him feeling guilt for the way he has behaved all his life, after he has suffered a massive heart attack. The Colonel, real name Arlo, father of the Roman boys, suffers a massive heart attack. This causes all the Roman boys to deal with their relationship with him. Not sure why Marilee was portrayed as weak in this, she is strong to deal with the ratbag Colonel. We get some lovely time with the Roman brothers and their wonderful wives and children. Nice close to the series but didn’t care about the Colonel surviving and supposedly turning over a new leaf. This is my honest review of this set of books.
This box set includes a story of three brothers whom are determined to win over their women. All three books include an alpha male who is ex-military and returned cowboys. Each couple faces different obstacles in their way and must overcome them in order to get their Happy Ever After. Big thing was the bonus book! Loved all four of these books and definitely recommend this set!

This is an amazing series, following three brothers and one of their good friends/neighbor finding their lifemates. There is a hidden baby with the girl next door, a new veterinarian who is recovering from trauma, a srtip club waitress rescue, and the other girl next door finding her love while hiding out from everyone else spending time with their significant others. There are all great stories.
