This was a quick read about a young girl turning her life around from the dire childhood she was raised in.

Gypsy Rose had escaped from an horrific scene that was the final thing to force her to flee for her life. Finding herself in a small town the eighteen year old finally finds a place to feel safe under the loving guidance of Lucy who owns the local diner in the town. Fast forward five years and Gypsy is now firmly established in the town but then another drastic episode sees her moving away again where she come across the Ryan Brothers and their construction business. Taking a shine to Chance Ryan, could he be the one to finally save her?

I really loved the first half of this book of seeing Gypsy’s struggles to overcome her past and it kept me engaged throughout. The romance was slow to come forward in the storyline which started about near to the mid-point and it was at this stage that the story began to falter and become a little stilted. It felt like the parts that should have been a big dramatic chapter were covered in a retrospect paragraph and then other things went into fine details such as when she was buying a dress and having her hair done. Just a bit topsy turvy for me. Don’t get me wrong the characters were wonderful but I just didn’t feel the connection between Gypsy and Chance. I was really rooting for them but it felt more of a ‘tell’ rather than a ‘show’ of a romance which was really disappointing. I also didn’t see the point of the prison scene in the epilogue but did love the HEA the two main character’s had. Saying all that though I did read right to the end and overall it was an enjoyable read. First half five stars, second half three so will round up to a 3.5 – 4 stars.

Gypsy Rose never had an easy life. She doesn't know who her father was and her mother is an addict, who brings unknown men home to support her addiction. When Gypsy was six, one of her mother's boyfriends nearly raped her. She managed to get out of this, but years later Gypsy was not so lucky. Despite every effort to rid her mother of her addiction, Gypsy decides to leave.
In another city, Gypsy gets a new job and slowly learns what family is.
Five years later, a new tragedy forces her to move again. The difference was that this time she had friends to support her.
Again, starting over, she needed a job and someone to help with her old car. It is when Chance Ryan enters her life, and from there, the girl who never knew what love means, is flooded with affection, friendship, protection and love.

Chance Ryan is my new darling.
The plot, although starting looking dark, becomes a beautiful overcoming love story.

What an emotional ride. I have yet to read a book by Shelley and Emily that isn't an MC romance so I wasn't sure what to expect but I had some pretty high expectations. I am thrilled to say that they exceeded those very expectations. This book was so heart wrenching and full of hope. Going along Gypsy's journey to overcome her past, find a family she can call her own and the love of a real man that will treat her like the special person she is.

The story line is one that will have you absolutely hooked and engrossed. The writing is flawless and you'd never know it was written by a duo. The characters are ones that you can't help but to love and to sit there and root for. My heart was clenching and my eyes definitely had some leakage because you are going to fall in love with the characters that their stories are going to get your emotions flowing.

I highly recommend this book and can't wait for more by Shelley and Emily in the future!

Gypsy's Chance by Shelley Springfield and Emily Minton is a darkish romance novel, a stand alone.

Meet Gypsy Rose. She´s forced to leave her home and move to a small town in Missouri.
In Macon she starts over. She meet a good man, Chance, and everythig could be peachy. But her past and their demons haunt her.

Gypsy's Chance is not for the faint of heart. Reading this book I had to put it down and take a breather. It is very intense.
I wanted so much for Gypsy to find happiness.
I loved the words, I loved the writing and I loved the characters. Chance is perfect, I wish for a Chance for every woman.
I recommend Gypsy´s Chance and give 5 Stars. Thank you Shelley Springfield and Emily Minton !

Gypsy's Chance is quite a change from the previous works of Shelley Springfield and Emily Minton. A sweet, yet intense contemporary romance, featuring Gypsy and Chance that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Gypsy escaped a horrific past, that continues to haunt her throughout the story line. She's an incredibly resilient, endearing and inspiring heroine, who doesn't recognize her own strength.

Chance is a complete gentleman. Sweet, kind and caring, he's a swoon worthy alpha hero.

This pair of characters are incredibly complex, but complement each other perfectly. Although told from a sole point of view of the heroine, they have a believable, yet intense connection and chemistry.

Although an intense read, I was completely captivated by Gypsy's tale, and eagerly anticipate what this writing duo will create for us in the future.

I read this story and was so amazed on how well it was written and how the story just flowed from these authors. This being something completely different from these authors really put me in shock. I was over the moon in love with this story. I loved almost all the characters Kilo can rot in hell for all I care.(yea that's all I'm giving you on him). Chance and Gypsy are this super strong and amazing couple that doesn't let crap stop them from anything. Gypsy has had a hard road that she endures in her life to get to the point she is at by the end of the story. Her ability to fight and stay strong no matter what life throws her way kept me in awe the whole time. Her strength is really what makes this story amazing after someone can go through what she has and finally come out on top is just truly amazing and wonderful. Chance he's this hott alpha man that is not to alpha but not a wuss either. He knows how to go for what he wants and doesn't hold back, he might do things differently and super panty wetting moments from him but he's a really great guy. This story is a non stop read, I had a book hangover when I read this, by the end of the story I was craving more I don't know if it was all the characters I was craving or maybe just a tab of Adam and Jarrod or Gypsy and Chance; I just know that I craved more to read once I reached the end. This story blows your mind and opens it up to so much that really happens in the world and some how Emily and Shelley have made this story shine and shine it did. I FLOVED it over and over. #MUST READ!!!! I could give you spoilers all day about this story but I honestly think you should just read it and fall in love with it like I did and how the reader after, before or whenever will.

Huge fan of of Emily Minton and Shelly Springfield this a little different from some of there other books they have written , the story line had me hooked and sad because of what the heroine has been through but when she meets these amazing people who become her family was super happy , but after disaster happens Gypsy has to move again and she meets the amazing hero who is very charming and is there for her in the time she really needs help . Gypsy is a such a inspiring heroine after everything she has been through she still has a certain strength not many would have . Chance was prince charming with a tool belt loved everything about him he didn't push Gypsy into something she wasn't ready for love the relationship he has with his mom and brother I hope the brother gets a book . They have intense chemistry compliment one another really well . I'm excited to see what next for these authors and when they go out of the box and do something different I find that a true talent .

Carla's Five Star Review

Well, my girls have done it again! Any time Shelley and Emily come together to write, the result is always perfection!

Gypsy Rose did not have a good childhood. Her mother was a drug addicted loser who was never there for her daughter. After a brutal attack, Gypsy runs away from her hometown and never looks back. She starts over in the charming little town of Macon. It is here where she meets some amazing people who soon become the family she has always longed for. Unfortunately, there is an accident that forces her to move an hour away in order to find employment. Not long after moving, she meets Chance. He is everything she has ever wanted in a man, but the demons from her past still haunt her making it difficult to trust. Will Chance be the one to finally break down the walls Gypsy had built around her heart?

What an awesome story! I fell in love with Gypsy and so wanted her to find happiness. And Chance? Well, he was simply perfect! He was handsome and charming, and he had a beautiful heart! If ever two people were made for one another, it was Gypsy and Chance! If you are looking for a great read, look no further!

Kudos to Shelley and Emily for creating another phenomenal read! You girls rock!

☆☆Reviewed for Hooked On Books ☆ ☆

I gave this book 4 stars!

I have read several of Shelley books, I am hugh fan of her MC series, so I knew going in that it was going to be good. What I hadn't planned was to absolutely fall in love with the characters like I did. I really need a second book of Chance, Gypsy, Adam and Jarrod. I love how her and Emily showed the raw emotions of Gypsy and how that know matter what life through her way, she brushed it off and got right back to it.

Gypsy hasn't had a easy life. With a druggie mom and the talk of the town, she know something has to change. After coming home from work, her mom's boyfriend Kilo rapes Gypsy and she know it's now or never. Gypsy ends up in a small town in Macon, Missouri. She finds a job and a family that loves her. When she is dealt with another life changing event, can she take a chance on letting someone help her?

Chance is the co-owner of his construction company. His past consists of his dad beating his mom daily. When he meets Gypsy he knows that something in her past is making her not get any closer to him. What happens when he wants more and she doesn't think she deserves him?

I can't wait to see what else Shelley and Emily write and will be looking forward to it.

Gypsy’s Chance by Emily Minton and Shelley Springfield was an amazingly fabulous read. This book was so different than the usually books by these wonderful ladies.
Gypsy has not had the easiest life. Growing up with a mother who could care a less about her daughter, letting men around her constantly and just being a total irresponsible parent. One night, after her mother is passed out, the unthinkable happen to Gypsy. Knowing that she can. It stay any longer, she leaves. When she stop at a diner, she meets the owners and automatically has a job. They soon become like her parents. They help and love her more than her own flesh and blood ever did. When a fire ruins her apartment and the diner, her only other option is to find work in another town. When she meets Chance, she knows that he is someone special. She feels safe and protected whenever he is around. After everything that she has been through, will she be able to trust him and open her heart?

I was pulled right into this story. The story has rape, abuse, pain, secrets, suspense, and heartbreak.

This is Gypsy and Chance‘s story. Gypsy left home after a horrible event and started over in a new town. Just when she has a little saved and is doing good there is a fire that takes away her safety. Now she has once again moved and is trying to get another job. But her apartment and job hunting is just not going great. When her car breaks down she meets Chance. He offers her a job and a new place to stay. She knows she must take him up on his offer but she does not trust easily. Can Chance win her trust and get her to see they could have something wonderful together? Or will what happened in her past keep her from loving Chance? Can he get her to look at a future with him?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I recommend this book.

I have read sassy, sexy, and just plain humor by Shelley and Emily. Now I've read serious but sweet. And I loved every second of it. I continue to be surprised and amazed at the broad range of what I read by these two and they just keep getting better and better!!

Gypsy, this poor girl has been to hell and back. My heart hurt for her immediately and just my heart! She finally finds the one thing she is looking for... a family. But another issue arises where she has to again move a little bit on to continue life. But she never leaves Jarrod, Lucy, or Hank behind. Her mom, dad, and brother. Her family no matter what. But her new adventure leads her to Chance, Adam, and Sylvie and again her life will never be the same!!

Chance, he's sweet, caring, protective, and so in tune with our girl that he's exactly what she needs! He teaches her it's ok to live and not to be afraid. He's patient and loving. But most of all he lets Gypsy know it's ok to be who she was meant to. These two balance each other out perfectly and are a matcha made in heaven. Not to mention the amazing family they all become a part of! I loved this story and I love these characters!!

✯✯4 Gypsy Stars!!!✯✯

Emily Minton and Shelley Springfield they better not stop co-writing. Because, they're magic together. This is a little different books. But, just as good!

Gypsy Rose has had a terrible childhood. Her mother is more worried about her drugs, alcohol and men then Gypsy. When the latest guy goes after Gypsy she can't take it anymore. Gypsy packs her bags and runs until she ends up in Macon. Gypsy got taken in by a family and ended up getting a job and the family she always wanted.

A few years later there's an explosion. Gypsy was forced to move about an hour away. Right after she moves there she meets Chance Ryan. He's a business owner and such an honest caring man.

He moves Gypsy outta her crappy place, gives her a job and so much more. He also wants to get to know her on a deeper level. Gypsy hasn't gotten over the first 18yrs of her life. Chance will go slow as long as she's willing to try. Gypsy has to learn to open up. She needs to realize she has a family. That she's loved and nothing will ever hurt her again. But, its hard for her.

I read this in one sitting. Gypsy was extremely strong. The way she was able to adapt with things was great. And, Chance.. OMG... He made me swoon. Multiple times. He is the perfect man. This was a great quick read. Can't wait for Emily and Shelley's next book.

My Review of Gypsy's Chance
by Shelley Springfield & Emily Minton
My Rating 4.5 Stars

I love the writing style of these two authors and when they write together it’s incredible.
This is one of those stories that captures your heart from page one, and holds it until the last.
Gypsy’s character is one that has her own demons that haunt her, her life has been a hard road with many ruts to pull herself through. Gypsy is one tough and feisty, yet inspiring heroine. Gypsy’s journey was one I fell in love with.
Gypsy and Chance what a story theirs is! Their chemistry is hot off the charts. I loved that this story had grit, drama and heartfelt moments that had me always wanting more! This book is so worth reading, and I highly recommend it!

Gypsy Rose has grown up her entire life with a drunken, druggie mother. After being raped and beaten by her mother's latest boyfriend, she decides she's had enough and leaves.
She heads to a small town trying to put her past behind her and move forward. There she finds new loving parents and a brother. When tragedy hits again with her job so she's off to another small town.
After settling in her new place with a new job, she takes off once again. Will she ever be able to breath again and put the demons of her past to rest.?
Chance and Adam own a construction company. Once Chance meets Gypsy, instant sparks fly. He is every woman's dream. Patient, loving, caring, protective.
This is a beautiful love story of a broken woman struggling to move forward and put her demons to rest and the man that wants to repair her. Such an emotional story. I would definitely recommend this book.

I read an ARC and this is my honest review.

A slow burn is what this story gave me because it didn't move too fast and was just a slow burn. Gypsy's life was filled with unhappiness and dark times. Until one night she had enough and left home with a purpose "to make it on her own". For five years she has lived on her own and found a friends and family with the people in the small town she settled into. Then another setback comes and she is forced to leave again and start somewhere new. In her new place nothing seems to be going as expected but she then meets Chance and from there things start to fall into place. Their first meeting is filled with an intensity that Gypsy does not see coming or know what to do with. She thinks all men are a disappointed but Chance is determined to have her. They takes us on a slow journey of love and finding yourself. Its a sweet love story and will pull at your heartstrings. You will not be disappointed when you read about their journey in finding peace.

Gypsy's Chance
Shelley Springfield & Emily Minton
3.5 stars

Gypsy's mother put her in harms way in the worse way possible. A tragic life with a mother who didn't care and never bothered to worry about her daughter she leaves that world behind. Making a stop on her trek to safety she meets a couple who sees the hurt in her. Taking her under their wing she finally knows what its like to have someone care for her and love her. Yet silver linings never last -- or do they? Does tragedy have to strike twice before the good finally stays?

Chance fell in love with her the first day he saw her. Can he protect her and can she learn to trust him after everything she has been through. Fighting for her might just be what he was meant to do.

This was a decent read. I did like the characters but the story line was not as in depth as I wanted it to be. Thank you for the ARC and the chance to read. Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets.

Gypsy is a broken girl that didn't know her father and her mother was a drug addict. She leaves her mom's home one night after being beaten and rapped by her mom's boyfriend Kilo. She drives till she can't drive anymore and lands in Macon, Missouri. There she runs into a Family that makes her their family. They put her up and give her a job and for years that is where she stayed. Until the building she lived in caught fire and so did her job next door. So she takes help from her family and moves an hour away and with the help she has a place to stay but it's not ideal. Then she meets Chance her saving grace. Does she take the handouts from Chance? Does she finally realize Lance is her forever? Just one click and you'll see. This is such a great book.

Gypsy's Chance is a really good story that I enjoyed from the get go. Gypsy has suffered a lot in her life and moving to Macon is her chance to start over. She never thought it would turn into a second chance at having a family. Hank, Lucy and Jarrod bring a lot to the table and bring this story to life. A second set of circumstances causes her to leave her family behind to start over. Meeting Chance brings feelings out of her she never expected to have for a man. He was so sweet and understanding and I just loved him and how he was with her.
I can't wait for more from this duo!

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book (given by the authors)...

This was such a heartbreaking cute quick story to read. Gypsy overcomes a violent attack and finds a great family to love her. Unfortunately, Gypsy has to move away from the family to find work after a fire destroys her family's diner. Will Gypsy finally be open to heal and love? Will the mysterious yet kind Chance be the man Gypsy needs to move on?

I loved all the characters in the book especially Jarrod and his family. I still want to kick Gypsy's biological mother's butt.

This book does contain a scene that may be hard for some to read.

I loved this book, gypsy's chance is now my favorite book by Shelley. Gypsy hasn't had the easiest life, growing up with a mother who doesn't care for anything she runs away finding a new town and starting over, he find a family who may not be her blood but helps her out, after an accident at the diner she needs to find work but there is none to be found, she goes an hour outside of town to find work, meeting chance was a dream come true, the most patience man who takes his time showing her that not all men are horrible. i loved that everything flowed together and would hope that there will be another book after this one. wasn't quiet ready for this one to end.

Gypsy left her hometown trying to escape her tragic past. She takes off with the little money she had plus what she stole from drunk, drug addicted mom.

She ends up stopping in Monroe, Missouri. She's able to find a job. She makes friends that she's close enough to that she considers them family. Then tragedy strikes again. Gypsy finds herself having to move again.

When Gypsy moved to Paduka, about an hour away, she meets Chance and Adam Ryan. They own their own construction company. They are pretty desperate for office help and even though Gypsy has no experience Chance hires her anyway.

Chance opens up to Gypsy about his past. Can Gypsy open up about how broken she feels by her past? Is there anything that Chance can't forgive Gypsy for or is her past more than Chance can handle?

I am voluntarily reviewing this arc of this book. This book may have you crying. She meets chance by accident he offers to help her with her car and when he finds out where she is currently living he offers her a safe clean place to stay. Her male best friend is very protective of her due to when they first saw her his family took her in n stepped in to become her family. I couldn't put it down. The last part of the book will have you crying and wanting to beat someone from her past. I loved it

Just shy of 5 stars.

Gypsy's Chance is a modern day fairy tale. It's filled with insta-love, Alpha Males and ball at the end.
Gypsy didn't have it easy but she was able to persevere throughout. She was determined to make a better life for herself. The people that she met along the way help her and become the support needed to fight through all the challenges thrown her way. I loved Hank, Luke y and Jared. They all realized how special she is and helped her succeed.
She becomes lucky when she meets Chance. He's fallen for her quickly and is anxious for her to get on board with it.
I loved the instant love and the alpha male Chance and Adam. I know there was a lot of drama in the beginning but I think it could have used a little towards the end. It seemed like that element was held back a few times.

So much emotion!

Gypsy had to start over, not only once but twice. This was a very good quick read. Very hard to put down. There was not only one, but two love stories. No spoilers! I'm not telling the second one. This was a pretty clean read, some cursing, nothing too bad. Memories of the past were hard but not very descriptive. I loved that. Keep up the great work Shelley and Emily!

Gypsy's Chance is an amazing story that left me wanting more of Gypsy and Chance! Chance is a true gentleman and shows Gypsy that she is worth a man's love and protection. The road isn't easy and the path wasn't magically laid out for Gypsy. She didn't just easily fall with Chance into bed, she worked up to everything. It was a realistic timeframe for that type of trauma. Their connection was instant but the love built overtime even though they started the fall in the beginning. Absolutely was happy with the resolve of the story in the epilogue! Totally wouldn't be opposed to seeing more of these two and their families.

I love when these two authors come together, they write so well together and Gypsy's Chance is one of the best. I loved this book, it does have some hard issues to read about but it was done with so much class. I just loved Gypsy, she was wonderful, strong, and smart. Chance is every woman's dream man, he was strong, sweet, and funny. The way he helped Gypsy was amazing and wonderful. I truly enjoyed this book and will be reading again. I highly recommend it.
