Bryan Cohen has done it again. The fifth in his The Viral Superhero books is chock full of the same sense of adventure as the prior books. The characters continue to develop and the storyline moves along quickly (a bit too quickly actually - I didn't want it to end). Highly rated for anyone who has read the series to date. You won't be disappointed. As for any who have not read this series yet, you're in for a treat - but better off starting with the first book (The Dark Souls). It's not a cliffhanger so you won't get stuck feeling cheated if you don't like it (but, trust me, you will want to read more of the books; they're pretty addictive).

Well, this is the fifth book in the Viral Superhero series. One clear difference in approach sets the book off from its predecessors. While there is still plenty of action and some effective plot twists, there is more emphasis on the inner lives of the characters. This is particularly evident in the first half of the book. Identity conflicts predominate and the process helps to develop the characters and adds depth to their motivations. It also
Increases the reader’s interest and maintains the impetus of the series as a whole.
