Seven Deadly Sins Vol. 3: Sloth; Gluttony; Greed Review
Book Rating: 5 stars out of 5.
Story Line: 5 stars out of 5. This was a great conclusion to the book series. I thoroughly enjoyed most of it. I didn't really like the end though for one reason, but I will reveal that when I get to the character section. Basically in this book they are living with the after affects of the accident. Harper has nightmares about Kaia. Beth feels horrible about what happened, but is getting closer to Reed. Adam is deciding what he really wants in life. Kane is being stupid as always. Miranda finally gets what she wants as well. A lot of things happens through this book that you never expect. There were a lot of scenes that worried me and there were other scenes that annoyed me. All and all this series was awesome. I loved the drama and all the emotions I felt going through.
Characters: 4.25 stars out of 5. Harper is still the worst character in the book. I don't care if she feels horrible for Kaia's death. She was a brat throughout the whole series. She feels everything should be about her. Even Beth points that out near the conclusion of the book. Adam finally is starting to reveal that he wants her. She is getting what she wants. She wants Adam to love her...well he does. She was so spoiled. I really hated her. I don't like the way she treats people at all. I really wish I could have hopped into the book and strangled her. That's what Harper really deserved.
Adam really disappointed me in the last three books. He definetly deserved better than Harper. He really did. He should have made better decisions. He should have ended up with someone who was really deserving of him. Harper was not. No matter how stupid Adam's decisions were he is still my favorite character in the book. I really enjoyed him.
Kane was the second worst character in the book. He is much like Harper. He was just as worthless as she was. He did a lot of wrong things in this book. He was completely full of himself just as much as Harper was. I feel like Kane and Harper should have gotten together in the end because they deserve each other. Both worthless. Both of the same mindset. I can't stand him especially in the last book.
Beth made me nervous throughout the rest of these books. I was very scared for her. I know she was in pain...but still...she should have gotten help. I started to like her a lot, but she is still not my favorite character. She probably never would be. She grew on me though. She really did. She wasn't a horrible person. She made a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes.
Miranda I felt bad for her through most of these three books too. She had a lot of things go wrong for her because of Kane and Harper. I really wish that she could have made a better friend than Harper. At least Miranda wasn't full of herself. She had to deal with a lot of issues that teens face nowadays. She was one of the realest characters in the book for me. I just wish she wasn't friends with Harper. I probably would have loved her more if she wasn't.
Reed I felt bad for. He lost almost everything. I know he was going through a rough time. He really was. He had to struggle a lot. I loved him throughout these books. He had grown on me from when he first entered the books. I just wish he stayed away from the drugs.
All these characters did affect me. Kane and Harper in a negative way. (I really wanted both of them dead throughout all the books.) Beth, Adam, Miranda, and Reed affected me in a positive way.
Writing Style: 4.5 stars out of 5. In this book I actually found a lot of errors that the publishers didn't catch. It still was a great simple read. I really completely enjoyed it regardless.

So the last volume of the Seven Deadly Sins series contains 3 books: Sloth, Gluttony and Greed.
In Sloth they are dealing with the aftermat of the accident and it is revealed who died in Wrath. Basically everybody feels sad and sorry and is looking for some comfort. I still want to hate the survivor and not feel sorry for her. Which actually helped for me.
In Gluttony the group goes to Las Vegas to celebrate being alive and more interesting developments are happening between the characters. 2 people hook up whom you hoped but never suspected it would work.
Greed is the only title that didn't really make sense. I guess it is because they are all graduating or ending high school and looking forward to their futures and what they want. True characters are revealed and it has a happy ending.
At the end of Greed (the 7th book) the story truly is finished and all the characters step into a new life of college or university or other futures ahead.
Wow. I think it has taken me way too long to actually finish this book, but let me tell you there were a LOT of things going on.
So first off let me say, the ending of Volume 2 was one of the biggest cliffhangers I have ever read.
The whole story between Kaia and Mr. Powell was definitely a strange one, and I called it from the very beginning that there was something wrong with him.
I was getting really annoyed at the fact that Beth was the constant in everyone's lives. She was the center of everything and somehow thought that she caused the accident, yet there was more to the story. One thing that I found was the aspect of mystery.
Overall I really loved this book, as well as the entire series. I did have some slow moments, but that generally happens. This series had a lot going on, and I would definitely recommend it to you!
Well, for an 845 page book, you would expect that the person reading it would not finish it if it were not great, would you not? If so, then you would be mistaken! Yes, I read this entire huge book, which was really three different books in one volume, and I found it barely mediocre at best. It went through the same thing over and over, the same couples repeatedly breaking up then getting back together, sleeping with other people in their group, then again. It took three entire books to go anywhere, even then not very far from where it all began. I really wanted to love this book; I loved the first two books in this series, but didn’t like the last five. My opinion: don’t waste your money on this series; if you want to read a couple of good books, purchase the first two Lust & Envy, then call it a day.
Wow, what a great read. Definite cannot put down. I found Robin's writing engaging and I loved all of the characters. This is one of the top teen series for me, I loved all of the mystery! I look forward to seeing more YA or even an Adult read from this author.
