Ok
Not my favorite by these naughty authors but not a bad quickie. I didn't connect with the characters they seemed to be in their own heads to much, not enough verbal communications.

This is one dark romance that called to me immediately. I loved the plot and the pace. The heat was burnin HOT which is just the way I love my romance reads.
Lucy loves her brother who is all kinds of messed up and in order to save him, she has to sacrifice herself to the only man that has the capability to save her brother or end his life- and that man is Giancarlo Sandoval, club owner in Las Vegas.
Their unconventional love story will hook you from the beginning and will carry you until the very end. There are so many twists and turns that I didn’t know what to expect, except to follow Lucy and Gian’s lead. When I was done reading, I re-read it again, that is how fantastic and alluring of a read this book is. I don’t want to give any spoilers away so you need to pick up a copy for yourself to read the chemistry between Gian and Lucy. Lucy is sweet and self-sacrificing and gets out of her shell and becomes this beautiful butterfly which Gian wants to own and make his own. Gian is this hot, dominant alpha male who immediately is attracted to Lucy- will they make it or will this beautiful butterfly fly away? You need to read to find out!!

I honestly don't know where to begin with this review. It pains me when I feel it necessary to give a book a one-star rating. Especially when others are giving it glowing recommendations. First and foremost, editing is a necessity for any author - great or small. And this book is a prime example of why editors are needed. The repetition alone weighed the story down heavily. There was no character development whatsoever. I'm a firm believer in show don't tell. This book was all tell. Most of it consisted of dreadfully long monologues, and when action did occur, it was short and unbelievable. This may work for some readers, but sadly, it was a complete fail for me.

This is raw, real and downright HOT!!! Lucy and Gian are characters that will have you enraptured in their story right til the very end. I thought it was a bit long-winded in the beginning but once Lucy walks up to Gian in the Casino...things get deliciously interesting and I couldn't put it down! Their chemistry is sizzling and one HEA turns this DARK romance into one SWEET romance! There are twists and turns that will have you completely unable to put the book down!

I received an Advance Reader Copy for Gambling For The Virgin written by Dark Angel and voluntarily reviewed this book. Giancarlo Sandoval is at the top of his game. He owns Wicked Paradise Casino and is a notorious for being a nasty businessman and womanizer. The only reason Lucy Tomlinson even cares about Gian is because her brother, Tommy, whom she has been looking after for the last seven years, has finally come across a situation that he couldn't squirm out of himself: he was hugely indebted to Gian with his gambling vice, and he was going to have to start paying it off with body parts. That is, until Lucy takes it upon herself to help by offering the only precious commodity that she has left: her virginity. Gian accepts, but he asks for much more, after seeing her and hearing the offer she tables.
This was yet another super-sexy quick read from this author duo, woven with what I feel was more of an emotional commitment from both characters, rendering it even more engaging for me to read ❤️

Why should he look at her any differently than the other woman trying to give themselves to him? Gain knows the look of disparity she has. Lucy is unlike anyone he knows. He can see the kindness in her. He can see her true heart in her.

Great Read—take a Gamble!

I really enjoyed this story. I liked the format of this story. Of course I loved the scorching and steamy sex scenes and I was happy that Lucy and Gian got a HEA at the end. It had the right amount of intrigue, steamy sex, and story. I liked how the authors dealt with the Lucy’s brother’s addiction and how she tried to help herself before going to Gian. In the beginning you believe the Gian is going to be this big bad guy and treat Lucy all rough but Gian has his own demons and insecurities he’s fighting and isn't so bad and rough. I found it interesting to hear that dialogue that he was having with himself. This is another great book in the Dark Angel collection, although it is a standalone. I highly recommend it!

I so wanted to hug Lucy and wish there was another way to help your brother. Giving yourself to Giancarlo Sandoval is the only way to save him. What she doesn't realise is that she will doing more than saving her brother, she will be saving herself AND Giancarlo or Gian as she calls him. A powerful story from the beginning and although it was a bit different from other of Alexis books, I felt it was more powerful, more endearing to Lucy. It keeps you interested all the way through. Feeling what Lucy feels, all her emotions, fears, hopes and seeing a glimpse of what haunts Gian. Absolutely brilliantly written and loved it.

How disappointing.
The premise of this book was intriguing but the execution...not so much. The whole thing was just so random. There was no character development at all. And making Lucy end up a stripper was just plain stupid. Add all that to the fact that the last 2 chapters were in the wrong order and you have a train wreck. Never mind that the last (should have been second to last) chapter was basically 3 pages of Lucy explaining why she wanted Gian to control her orgasms. I've read some bad books before, but this was awful. If I could give it no stars I would. I couldn't even bring myself to read the honeymoon at the very end of the book and am irritated I just lost 90 minutes of my life I won't get back. I will never read another book by this author.

Lucy's brother Tommy is in trouble - he owes money to Gian, and Lucy is offering up the only thing of value she has in order to help Tommy pay off his debt. Gian is a ruthless businessman and casino owner, and he's more than intrigued by Lucy's offer. This was one smokin' hot read, and I loved seeing Lucy come out of her shell. Her metamorphosis was beautiful and sexy, and Gian found himself spellbound by her innocent sweetness. Gian came across as a real tough guy, but with Lucy he was absolutely hooked. The things he wanted to do, and did, to Lucy! The sex was so hot, and it was a quick read, but it was wrapped up nicely. Love how hot these books get! Gian owning the casino and much more is used to women throwing themselves at him. But to him, they are all the same, money hungry wanting something from him. But he never partakes. He hasn't had sex since his wife left to do her own thing. But when Lucy walks up to him and offers herself to him. He has to have her.

Dark, Dirty and oh so sexy!! These is another super sexy, scorching hot book by Dark Angel. If you have read any of the previous books you know what to expect and this one delivers. If you are new to Dark Angel's work you will find hot, sexy dominate men. Men that are used to getting what they want when they want it and how they want it. You get heroines that are often times in hard situations, but are strong enough to deal and survive. You get great writing, interesting stories, complex characters and a whole lot of scorching, dirty sex and a HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

Wow. I am not sure what I just read. Lucy is a young virgin that is going to trade her innocence to Gian a wealthy casino owner to clear her brother's gambling debts. It is lust at first sight and leads to some very steamy sex scenes. What I found different about this book is the running internal dialog the characters had during sex. I do not know if this is the time to ponder your life. The ending left me with questions about their future.

I’ve read several books by this author, and I have to say this one is the best yet. So much more emotional depth than usual. Despite the dark themes, this really is a very sweet love story at its core. Lucy shows exceptional bravery in approaching Gian on her brother’s behalf, and Gian takes notice. I’m not sure I completely understood the whole ex-wife part of the story, but the blossoming love between Lucy and Gian is so nicely done it’s easy to ignore the other details. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I loved the story and how Lucy stands up for and fights for her brother. Gian he is a take charge kinda guy and boy does he take charge of Lucy! I enjoyed watching her fall for Gian and the deal she made with him was not her original deal but it worked for them. There were some surprises thrown in the mix and lots of steamy sex and a HEA. Overall this was a great book that everyone should read.

A quick and steamy read with a few surprises, sizzling chemistry and scorching sexiness... but it felt a little lacking at times, not quite up to the standards we are used to, but please keep in mind that this is my voluntary opinion, and I will still gladly recommend it to anyone.

I really enjoyed this story. Lucy was willing to give up so much to save her brother. Gian, though supposedly a bad boy casino owner, just melted for Lucy. The two of them together were hot and their story really entertaining.

Disappointing
The storyline itself is interesting. Repeating the dialogue from chapter to chapter is kinda boring. I think chapter fourteen and fifteen were switched, they do not make sense. Fourteen they are getting married and fifteen he is asking her to marry him. The cart before the horse.

This book has the potential to be a good book but the author drags on & on with so many parts. There is way too much overthinking in so many areas of this story. I’m a little lost on how a recluse virgin turns into a stripper because it makes her happy?!? I’m actually surprised that I finished it.

Rich bad guy takes innocent girl
I can’t quite put into words how I would describe this book. The storyline was okay but not very original. The events just seemed jumbled in their sequence.
I can’t quite put into words how I would describe this book. The storyline was okay but not very original. The events just seemed jumbled in their sequence.
