One of her greatest joys is sitting on the porch where they were all raised and hearing the stories from years gone by. Quietly laughing to herself, she notices how they embellish the stories more and more each year.
Storytelling was passed down from her grandfather and mother. Jeannette caught the bug at a very young age. If she didn’t have her head in a book, then she was off somewhere with a notebook, jotting down stories of what she would write if one day she became an author. Although the notebook may have vanished, the stories are still vivid and waiting for the right time to be told.
Despite having an amazing family, there have also been some sorrows in her life, including the loss of loved ones. Over the years, Jeannette has spent countless hours volunteering for different organizations and acting as a caregiver to those dearest to her. As a result, supporting the elderly became of utmost importance.
As she approached a milestone birthday in 2015, she decided to take her passion for writing and blend it with her desire to continue to help others. As she writes her stories, she hopes they touch someone’s life. Within the layers of the romance, the foundation remains throughout and is one that is dear to her; make a difference in someone’s life each day!
In 2016 she met someone who encouraged her to push herself even further and try her hand at spicy intrigue. One year later she has four books in this new series and each one pushing her limits just a bit further.
Like the wind, Jeannette’s life changed directions several times over the years, yet one constant remains: her desire to leave this Earth a little better than when she entered it as she tries to live by these words, Make your mark on the world today as your acts of kindness is all anyone will remember in years to come!

Wow!! This book kept me guessing and on the edge of my seat from start to finish. A brave heroine Ziva, saving young girls from a life of despair and a handsome, strong billionaire, Alex, trying to fix the pain inflicted by his father. Two unlikely people find love in the midst of deceit and danger. "Sometimes you have to open a door and let love in." A great read I highly recommend.

WOW!!His For Five Nights book by Jeannette Winters is book #5 in the Barrington Billionaire's series and is an action-packed, suspenseful, heart-breaking(at times), emotional, mystery laden, emotional re-union book with romance! Alexander(Alex) Henderson(our hero) is looking for answers about his mother. In previous books from this series we learnt Alex's father was a mean and evil man, a person everyone would hate(and after reading this book only comfirms he was even worse than anyone thought!!). Traveling to a foreign country to find the answers about his mother, Alex meets Ziva Grzyb(our heroine) who doesn't trust anyone with the last name Henderson especially Alex. Ziva is a strong woman who is trying to help the young girls and women in her country from being snatched by human trafficking ring and also she tries to help them escape. This is where Alex and Ziva's story intertwines, Alex is trying locate his mother(who he believes at one time was one of the women snatched by this ring many years ago) and Ziva trying to save all she can. There is distrust but also chemistry between Alex and Ziva leading to a HEA. I encourage you to read this book to read how this HEA comes about, there is just too much in this story for me to tell you about. His For Five Nights kept me reading, I couldn't put this book down. Wonderful action-packed romance and a GREAT addition to the series!! Great job Jeannette!!

The fifth story in the Barrington Billionaires continues to show us how evil James Henderson really was. This is the story of Alex Henderson who travels to a foreign country to put a stop to a human trafficking ring and meets Ziva who hates all Henderson’s yet the two have an undeniable attraction to one another. As the plot thickens and surprises throughout the book, it’s one you won’t want to put down!

This is book 5 in the series about the Hendersons! Great, edge of my seat story! I knew the bad guys were going to show up and I was “a nervous wreck” (in a good way) waiting for it to happen. James Henderson left a legacy of evil not only to his children but also to an entire country that feared his very name so when his son, Alex shows up everyone is fearful of the evil he brings. Little do they know he is trying to make things right and find his mother. Ziva Gryzb has decided she has to stop Alex for bringing the same evil his father brought to the girls of her country. When Alex and Ziva figure out they are on the same side, sparks fly in every direction between the two.
Great plot with lots of action, hot guys, strong women and very evil people. I laughed, cried and cheered for the good guys while reading this book. I was so glad that Alex got what he needed and realized who he needed! It was such a wonderful moment in the story. This author has done an amazing job with this series. Can’t wait for the next one! I was already invested in this series but the tagline in Jeannette's newsletter had me extra anxious to read it like "that day." The things in which I discovered with Alex on his quest to find his mother was flooring. Twisted at best and sickening in reality. Yes this book is fiction but the realness of the issues is what breaks my heart and gutted me from the inside out.
Alex had to channel his inner career but not all times the outcome is what you would expect, darn sure not the findings uncovered. Throw in a determined rights activist like Ziva and not only does all hell break lose but you find a different purpose, a deadlier mission, you gain a healed heart, and be delivered a knockout blow. You see good where there is evil and you fight to rebuild what is in the history books but most of all... you find a purpose to embrace what you dreaded being, embrace family and allow them IN. You are no longer a singular but an US.
I would say again the actions and findings were twisted and there is one hell of a WTF moment but you obtain answers to the unknown and find out what's really in a name.....

Great book . Bit of a slow start but gets going round chapter 3 so stick with it .
Alex and Ziva are perfect together , only criticism was that I failed to see the spark between them .

OMG, this is crazy, you never saw this coming for sure, one person fights to find his mother, and one person fights to save the young girls from being sold to the highest bidder. Can Alex find love in all of this, or will he die trying to save one girl, or will they both die in the end? Or does he finally find his mother after all this is done, and has happy ever after, or does he face live in solitude once more in his writing? Must read. But you need to learn about the Henderson from the beginning with Brice.

In another nail biter, Jeanette Winters has another winner in my book. Alex's and Ziva's story is way beyond a love story. Oh, it's definitely a love story but so much more. The Henderson family will never be the same again. There are covert operations, there are really bad guys and women you won't believe. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It had me on the edge of my seat, had my stomach in knots and my nails bitten to pieces. I highly recommend this whole series the twists and turns in the family will keep you on your toes.

Fab book. I totally recommend this book about Alex and Ziva. Jeannette is able to get the happy medium of light hearted and hard hitting. I look forward to the next one.

This book is His For Five Nights, book 5 in the Barrington Billionaire’s Series, written by Jeannette Winters. This series has been amazing and this book is even more edgy and suspenseful than the others. Ms Winters finally allows us a major look into the true evilness of James Henderson. Can Alex uncover the secrets that James intended to remain hidden? What damage can come from learning the truth? How many people will be in grave danger as Alex searches for answers? You will not want to miss this series! I received an advance readers copy and voluntarily chose to leave this review.

Alex Henderson was looking for answers about his mother. After what he learned about their late father, he was ready to embark on a mission that could get him killed.
Bennett Stone ( VIRGIN FOR THE FOURTH TIME ) wasn't about to let that happened. Especially when he knew that it could hurt his future wife to be Zoey Henderson. Who just so happened to be Alex's baby sister.
Ziva Grzyb was determined to do anything to stop the human trafficking in her country. She lost her sister and felt helpless because she wasn't able to help her. Now that someone else needed her, she was ready to fight against the world if necessary.
When she got word that Alexander Henderson was in Tabiq, she made it her mission to bring him down. She assumed he was just like his father. Little did she know that Alex was on his on quest for justice.
Their first encounter was intriguing which left them both craving each other more than they expected. As they learned more about one another they came to the conclusion that they were both on the same side.
Ziva found herself in danger when those she was trying to stop got a hold of her. Alex wasn't about to let anything happen to her. With a plan, he and Bennett made sure she and the girls she saved were okay.
It was great to have Brice ( ONE WHITE LIE ) and Dean ( TABLE FOR TWO ) come to help them as well. The mention of Sophie Barrington always warms my heart. She had so much love to give her children and their friends which included the Hendersons.
Alex, Brice and Dean finally had the names of their mothers along with those of the rest of their siblings' own. Alex met his mother and what an emotional reunion it was.

The Hendersons are a proud family, just coming to terms with a very large secret. This long-held deceit hidden by their father has pulled them together in many ways, but also distanced them in others. All are working thru the discovery, but Alex -while hiding his own secrets- needs to find out more about his past. It is amazing how the 4-w’s (who, what, where, why) can affect a man, or a woman.
Ziva comes from a family that battled with the unknown. Protective and strong, her family fought the odds to insure her a life worth living. She has heard of the Hendersons, but never met any of them. Her life’s work is to her nation’s families. A battle that puts her square in the sights of Alex Henderson.
This is not your normal story. It is a story of battles: man vs man, man vs nature, man vs himself. It is a battle for healing of each person as well as a country. It is a battle of thoughts and feelings, as these two discover there are no time limits on love, and no guarantees love will prevail.
Jeannette has done a wonderful job of taking turmoil and turning into triumph. This story kept me captivated with each turning page as there were always new challenges to overcome for each character. As she worked her magic, this reader was left wondering “how will she pull this together, and how will they find each other.”
Congrats Jeannette on a job very well done. You deserve every corner and point on these 5-stars I give you.

Least Favorite
This was my least favorite of all books on this series so far. Ziva's actions and personality didn't match. Wanted to stay there and take on a government with no resources or plans was kind of dumb. And, for someone that lived in fear and solitude most of her life, you'd probably think she would be ready for some freedom.
It also bothered me how she tried to place a guilt trip on his shoulders saying he didn't fight for her and that he doesn't want to be in her world and he didn't fit in his. I don't think she deserves him.
Now, in reference to his mother. I can believe he asked nothing about his aunt. There's no way I would walk away empty handed with nothing to tell my sister. I would have sat there all day to get the answers his long lost mother was willing to give. I'm sure Ziva would have been waiting in her shack after he was done.
I think the author should have found the romantic type for Alex. Someone smarter with more common sense.
And what happened to Rajani and the manager. Some things were left open. I wonder how she plans to change a whole country with her way of thinking. Perhaps he'll be the foundation she needs.

The Henderson Family is featured in the fantastic story about Alex Henderson, and his search for truth about his mother. The female character is Ziva Grzyb . She is determined to stop the human trafficking ring that is terrorizing her country, especially since her older sister was involved in it as a victim! She believes the Henderson Family is at the root of this despicable crime.. and she'll fight all of them to do right.. Then she meets Alex..
She believed he's part of it, and he's staking is good reputation to stop it too... will she see the truth in him, can he rely on her to help, Will the Henderson Name Be Forever Stained by the Sins of the Father? Sorry, I don't give spoilers.. Jeannette wrote this to be enjoyed, the good with the bad! The evil with the selfless sacrifices. It's not the everything is perfect in their life story. It's more like our current headlines in the news. Read it to find the answers!

What a great book! This is one of those series where the next book just keeps getting g better. As a quick background the series centers around five brothers and a sister who are trying to find there mom and sling the way discover that their sinister nasty father actually had his children with six different mothers. Alex has discovered where his mother might be and has discovered a human trafficking movement that needs to be halted. He knows his father was involved and wants to stop it! He meets Ziva who that's been trying to help the young victims. Great story lots of intrigue!

I have read all of Jeannette's books. I have laughed, cried, loved, and all the goodies involved in readying her work. I have many book boyfriends from her books. I mean many, cause let's face it, it is hard to choose after a while. But seriously His For Five Nights has become one of my top five books. It is super hard to make the top five and she surely did it with this one. If she keep this up, she might have a tv series on her hands.

This is book 5 which is Alex's book. Alex is in search of his mother. Alex's mother was part of a human traffic operation. This book is full of intrigue and violence. There is violence towards woman just because they are women. Some of the things that happened where difficult to stomach and hard to read but it made the book. I do feel that the match went a little too quick and that part felt rushed. All in all though a good book.

Waw
This one had me gripped also had me in tears, to say they had trouble getting to the bottom of things is an understatement. Learning that you were brought into the world under them circumstance is a trauma in itself but to go and confront it head on and do what Alex and his brothers are doing took a lot of front. He's found himself a strong lovely lady that puts her feelings second to others.
This one had me gripped also had me in tears, to say they had trouble getting to the bottom of things is an understatement. Learning that you were brought into the world under them circumstance is a trauma in itself but to go and confront it head on and do what Alex and his brothers are doing took a lot of front. He's found himself a strong lovely lady that puts her feelings second to others.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, bit late to the Barrington party but I'm catching up fast! Hot, gorgeous, Alex takes the situation in his own hands and goes back to find some answers from a place his father "took" his mother from, in his search for her he finds more than he bargained for in the form of Ziva, and ...........you need to read for the rest of the gripping story

Really great book.
I very much enjoyed this book. Although it is part of a wand part of an even larger multi author collaboration, each book can totally be a standalone. I really do recommend reading all the books by all three authors though and in order, not because each doesn't make sense individually but because they really are all well worth reading.
