With a new connect for his coke, Ezra is ready to jump head first into the game, but before he can even move his product, he’s gotta to find out who robbed his trap, leaving one of his workers for dead. He puts his team of hittas in charge of it, but the person least likely to assist him is the one that comes through in the clutch. The jack boys were only one of his problems, and when Emerald ends up in a jam, he is forced to pay the piper.
Taylin is on cloud nine dating her new beau, McKinley. Though they’ve only been talking for a short period of time, and have already had their share of problems, she is still rocking with him. That is, until Professor Nosa Ealy’s sexy ass shows up to lecture for a week. She had a little crush on him in the past, but he never took any of the bait she threw at him. This time around, however, the tables will turn when he admits to liking her. She tries to ignore him, until McKinley’s night out lands him in the bed with his ex.

Wood was wrong for how he did Emerald. Ezra came through for her and gave him the money. I like Emerald and Ezra together. Taylin has a hard choice to make, I like McKinley but Nosa is just doing everything right. Raven and Lonzo messed up and I hope Tommy tell Emerald and Ezra what he heard. Great job as always Shameka, I can't wait for part 3.

All I can say is, this was another banger. Picked up where part one ended. I can’t stand Raven, I really hope she get her karma. Taylin is annoying me with her indecisiveness. I like Nosa he on that grown man 💩. Not sure how I feel about Emeralds dad having her get beaten, that was a bit much.

Really though
Can't believe that Emerald's dad did her the way that he did. Good thing Ezra came through when he did. Raven bout to get hers ain't no way Tommy is going to keep his mouth shut he likes drama waaayy too much. Tay is everywhere. Then the siblings wow can't wait to see where things go from here.

This book was very entertaining. I could really relate to the characters and what they were going through. I love Ezra as a man. I can't wait to see what's gonna happen next!

Pretty good
This was pretty good, but in my opinion, not as good as the first one. I hope book three doesn't drag on. I found myself skipping pages to get to the end. #teamEzra

Very entertaining book... Raven is going to get hers in part 3... Taylin has a lot of thinking to do hopefully she chooses Nosa... Can't wait until part 3 comes out
