I loved the different emotions this book drew out of me. I had loathing for Max and he made me so made that I wanted to reach into the pages of the book and give him a wallop. Raine could move from being spunky to shaking like a mouse, I can't wait to see the stronger side of her come out to play more. And though Nikki was hot and L.Rose certainly got me heated up with scenes between him and Raine, I fell in love with Jared almost instantly. I can't wait for book two.

LP Rose has done it again and sunk me in within the first chapter. I could barely put the book down and now I am sitting here DYING for book 2 so I can see how this ends. The raw reality of the life that Raine Peters leads is incredible. And the care and concern shown by Niki is amazing. The emotions and actions in this boom make you feel as if it were happening to you. I highly recommend this book as I sit here impatiently waiting for the rest of it :)

Max is such an manipulating and selfish asshole that never deserved Raine, his true self showed from Day 1, but was past off. Within the first few chapters I already felt emotionally attached to Raine. Raine deserved so much better than him, and I'm glad Niki was there to show so. I cannot wait to read what's to come in the series. Lila, you've done it again!

Absolutely brilliant

OMG this book is brilliant. Once I started I couldn’t put or down till it was finished . Thrilling , exciting , exhilarating till the end . Off to read part 2, no sleep now. You have to read both parts . This author is so brilliant and amazing . All her books are pieces of true treasures

L.P. Rose brought out my emotions in bucket loads with this story. Ive never hated a character in a story so much as I hated Max, he is a manipulating, controlling pig who rules Raine life, when she is forced into ballroom lessons, things for her start to change especially when her instructor Nikoli makes it his mission to save her, I fell in love with him, wanted to strangle Max, and willed Raine to find the courage to leave her husband. I was very pleased with the end of this book, and hope L.P. Rose brings out part two very soon.
