Dancers dance and hustlers hustle... Love doesn't have any control over who it captures. Demi Westbrook loved Papa to the point of no return. She loved him for who she knew he would become one day. Born with a silver spoon in her mouth, Demi enjoyed life to the fullest, not really knowing what the "hard knock life" felt like, but meeting him changed that. Papa, one of the founding fathers of The Underworld, and the youngest on the team is a hothead and loud mouth. If it's not Papa's way then it's the highway. He's spoiled and bratty at times, but to Demi, he's everything. Going against her parents' wishes to see him, Demi allows Papa to invade her thoughts, her mind, and most importantly in this urban fairytale, her heart. Demi was more than a dancer, the Greats proclaimed it before she left her mother's womb. Being the daughter of Dorane Little wasn't easy. Dorane pushed Demi to be better than she was when she danced back in the day. Surpassing her mother wasn't an easy job. Demi didn't operate in excuses; she worked harder than every other dancer she knew because her eye had always been on the prize. According to her parents, Papa was a distraction but to Demi he was her motivation. In The Pointe of No Return, witness love and tragedy collide. Readers have been invited to the dance theatre to observe Demi Westbrook transform from a teenager with a dream to a grown woman with a title, Prima Ballerina. Papa and Demi ignore the warning signs of her being too young and naïve, and him being too cocky and dangerous. Once they decided that they are living for each other and not the naysayers, the couple love each other immensely to the Pointe of No Return. The Underworld series Please Catch My Soul, Pointe Of NO Return, From His Rib, The Christ Family, Stranger In My Eyes, The Arraignment, Resentment, The Arraignment 2, Redemption

Great read..I'm glass this was a standalone.. sometimes it's tiring waiting forever for a series to come out. I loved ask the characters in this book. I'm glad Demi and her mother finally came around in the end. That damn Papa was a true hothead. Deff a great read overall
What a great ending to an excellent story. I'm proud of the way Demi grew up in spite of her home life. Papa also grew up after a few mishaps. On to the next episode.

Papa & Demi were so cute! I loved the innocence in Demi and the way Papa fell for her so quickly. Her mama was awful and I felt like she had unrealistic expectations. 😑but, aside from the theatrics, this book held my attention and I enjoyed it.
Papa is a whole vibe. You would have never know what type of person papa is truly without demi. Demi is a good look for Papa so far but I don't trust her.
Splendid!!! I thought this was a beautifully written story with well rounded charcters. The fact that Papa & Demi's backgrounds were so different made their love for each other all the more special. The storyline & content keep me reading for Papa & Demi met obstacles that some may not have handled well. Like the previous story, Pointe Of No Return was a very pleasing read that had me applauding the relationship until the end & has me looking forward to the next story!
The development of each character is what drew me in. NAKO painted images gave you the feeling and understand of each and every one of them. I feel closer to each character as the time goes on. I'm happy for Demi her mother should have know Demi had high standard and I love papa wanted her to keep her dream going
This second book right here should have been the first book of this serie.... Man these characters.... Papa was the hit... I have not read the others yet, but as of now papa is on top of my list. Although rude, very rude, most of the times, he was also very sensitive and very in his feelings but hiding it well, and it's probably the nicest thing to see an alpha male, badass man all sensitive, and protective, and in his feelings. Demi was so refreshing, so nice, so different yet very down to earth despite her upbringing that she was a fresh of breath air to Papa's world... Dorane should have been gone as well as Bianca. Unc was the best and it was nice to have the guys back under the same roof even if you haven't read their stories yet. This was truly the best and it should have started first...now we are getting to a point with this serie!!!
The second couple of the UW series...Demi and Papa. It’s the classic bad boy and good girl story. Good girl falls for the bad boy and vice versa. Bad boy appreciates that he has a good girl and tries to become a better man. All of that is true for Papa and Demi. Papa is heavy in the streets, more so than his other UW partners. Demi is heavy in her school and dance. Demi brings the best out of Papa and vice versa. Their relationship reaches the point of no return and we have to see how Papa will handle it in the future.
So far this is my favorite story. I fell in love with Papa while reading In love with a Brooklyn thug series. Demi became one of my favorite secondary characters from that series also. So I was excited to read about the beginnings with him & Demi. Demi flourished and sprouted throughout this story. Papa was the ruthless hot head who fell in love with the suburban girl. Demi & Papa were the definition of new to love. Excellent read. I wouldn’t mind reading about these two more.
Demi lived the good life, born into money and fame, she didn't know a thing about the hood, how the other half lived but a trip to a graduation party changed her life. Papa aka Roberto Huffington, took one look at her and he was a goner, he knew he had to get to know her! They went through so much to get to their happily ever after, but finally! A great read! I loved their story, looking for much more from the rest of the Underworld!
This story was excellent. It was well written, it had a good flow, the editing was on point, the storyline was great. The author really flexed her writing skills with this story. It was entertaining from start to finish. From the sex scenes to the high drama. It was so good! The characters were well development. Everything about this story was perfection. looking forward to the next book.
Great read from beginning to the end. It kept you entertained. I love books that keep you engaged. Looking forward to seeing what the next books are about

Very great read. I loved the growth as a man in Papa and I connected with Demi all too well. Character Development was excellent as always, scenes are vivid and I love how you give us a little bit with each book to build up towards the end. Bravo Nako I haven’t been disappointed in not one read of yours you are an amazing author
Now I'm wondering if nasir slept with mj to solidify their arrangement with papa. So happy papa got himself together somewhat so far but i know more to come with him and the underground. Her mother finally saw the good in her but Is it all a front for the ballerina in her that she wanted so bad. I still feel someway about nasir.
Demi what a sweet young lady. Papa neither to balance him ... This was a good read💯... But her mama had some major issues, trying to live through her daughter..Keep up the good work,💯😘
The Underworld series are a awesome read . I’m about to start the third book in 3days . The way she writes her stories really capture my attention that I couldn’t stop reading .
I love DEMI & PAPA together I have read this book at least 3 times and I’m excited every time as if is was my 1st time reading . This is an exciting journey into THE UNDERWORLD✌🏽.
I’m interested to see how all the stories combine into one big book. I hated Demi’s mother and her father had no backbone. He still didn’t do what he needed as her father. I don’t trust a few persons in the underground. I love the change in Papa.
Papa & Demi just might be one of my favorite couples! I love how we learn more about other members of the underworld in each book. I love his relationship with MJ. I side eyed Nasir for most of this book. Great read! The prima ballerina 🩰
I really loved these two together. Demi was just what Papa needed. I really hated how her mom treated her it was dispicable. Unc was solid and I loved how he treated Papa. they formed their own little family which I fell in love with.
This book was really good I was all into this book from beginning to end! Papa got on my nerves a little bit, but he really loved Demi and she love him just as much!
Let me start off with, I don't like Demi mama and I'm looking at her dad side eyed. Papa has the kind of personality that will make you love him one minute and ready to windmill him the next. This 2nd installment of The Underworld was a great read.
I loved this one. Even though dorane was aggravating as hell I understood that she just wanted the best for Demi. Papa and Demi were so different but they fit together so well. Must read
Papa is the kind of hood guy who says what he means and means what he says. Demi is a rich girl ballerina but she has a little bite to her. These two coming together I thought it was so sweet. This is a must-read series except for the editing issues it's a good read.
