In 2007, Writer and Director Kevin Powis and Producer Nigel Davey convinced Sir Norman Wisdom to come out of retirement to make one more screen appearance in their short film Expresso. Norman's comic performance, as a vicar plagued by a fly, was genius - but sadly this film was to be Norman's last screen role. Now ten years later the film making pair have teamed up again with plans to bring a new feature length screen play of Norman's Life and Adventures to reality and this ebook contains the full script of this planned movie. The script, penned by Powis, which has garnered great feedback, covers Norman's early life growing up in poverty and follows him through his childhood adventures in London, Argentina and later as a teenager in the army in India where he discovered his love of show business before making his breakthrough on to the stage and later the silver screen.
A short screenplay of Normans early life and rise to fame. Made me think of my dad who was a huge Norman Wisdom fan. I felt sad after reading it that they are both gone now. Normans autobiography 'My Turn' is brilliant, best autobiography I have read. Recommend both these books.
