This one was OK. It was super short and super insta. Also, the heroine came across a bit like a golddigger IMO. She basically said SAYONARA to her Dad and was humming this theme song as she went off to be with the hero...

I loved it! I love mafia themed stories and it's one of my favorite Olivia T. Turner stories. The hero's beyond the OTT alpha males I love to read. I loved his possessiveness of her and how strong his love was for her.

The story is about Cormac and Bree.

She's helping her dad run the restaurant but people aren't coming there and his debts keep adding up. Debts to Cormac Connolly, the head of the Irish mafia and the most powerful man in the city.

She comes to see him to take on her father's debt but he doesn't want the money. He wants her. Will she accept it or will she run away from him?

Everyone was scared of him. He's ruthless and violent. He's a very hard man but I loved it when the H was only soft when it came to his h. Others may not like how possessive he was but I loved it and really enjoyed it.

It has a nice epilogue. Married with children

Cormac was a sexy, ott alpha male. One look and he was head over heals. There was NOTHING that was going to stand in his way. (Just ask his two goons)

Bree goes to Cormac (who is the leader of the Irish mafia) to try to take care of the debt of her father since he has been ruffed up for not paying his debt. He takes one look at her and uses the debt to make her his wife. She is attracted and since her Dad will be taken care of and debt cleared she agrees to be with him.

I begin with an apology for my rant and to not offend anyone with it.

I am either getting too old for this sh!t or the insta love genre books especially the really short ones are trying to make a buck without taking any real time to lay out a believable emotional story to buy insta love like ones I have loved before and now have to wade through ones like this to find ones that take the time to establish a good couple and actually romance even if a shorter book. I love insta love because it can cut down on relationship drama but now they are cutting out the romance too. So I am left with lust, a great life changing f*ck, marriage and HEA without any real effort for the characters, story or love/romance part.

I am sorry but this just sucked to me and I mean no offense to those who did enjoy it because even though I didn't like it I still get why others would and why it can be a popular read.

The heroine came across as a manipulative gold digger that wanted to be taken care of and I didn't buy any true feelings for the hero but one I am supposed to buy her sweetness and how she grew up as a reason why. The hero wanted her but I didn't buy his insta love. He lust for her and her beauty yes but love no. Even in the end where I am supposed to buy it with no real emotion laid out before I felt it failed.

I am new to Olivia T. Turners stories but I am fast becoming a fan.

Bree is trying to help her dad pay the bills and meet the loan payments to the infamous Mr Connolly, but they are behind and when two of his men turn up to collect their money things turn ugly leaving Bree with a black eye and a bruised cheek and her beloved father with two broken arms. Knowing she needs to help him out of the mess he has gotten them into she decides to go straight to Mr Connolly and offer to pay off the loan herself. Surely she can appeal to his better nature and get him to agree? But it appears that once he sees her he has a different idea entirely.

Cormack Connolly one of the most feared men around was talking to his top two enforcers when Bree arrives in a yellow dress reminding him of a buttercup and he falls for her straight away. There is only one way that she can pay off her fathers loan and he is determined to claim her but he doesn’t want her for just a day oh no she he wants forever.

This is fun quick read of an over the top alpha in the extreme and a sweet young girl trying to look after her father. Great quick read although I honestly would have liked this to be longer but I cannot wait to read more from this author.

This one like the other olivia book is short very fluffyish and okay..

This one i didn't truly like i felt Bree (h) was very bratty and painted like a golddigger.. now i get her helping her father but how she reacted to the dresses money.. all that..then changed her tune and said she was suffocating being around her dad.. thought she loved him.. and loved working.. but yeah.. wasnt my fave person.. as for Cormac.. he is super OTT very protective of Bree.. head of a mob dangerous which i love.. i just didn't connect him with golddigger Bree..

Okay okay, there is OTT and then there is this. I went into this knowing that, and I was still like "oh dang, boy don't play" and he didn't. Obsession at its purest form with a touch of mafia and a sprinkle of sweet. The only reason I bought this was because I got it on Audible and Noel Harrison's growls are just the right amount of dirty deliciousness. If you are looking for an OTT story with something much faster than instalove and a possessive alpha male, then read this.

El padre de Bree pidió dinero al jefe de la mafia irlandesa para abrir su restaurante. Pero las cosas no van bien y el jefe quiere el dinero. Así que cuando su padre es apaleado de nuevo delante de Bree, y ella recibe su parte también, decide ir a ver al mafioso intentado conseguir pagarle ella.
Cuando Cormac ve a Bree su mundo pierde el enfoque y no ve nada más que a ella. Le importa una mierda la deuda de su padre, pero utilizar eso como excusa para que ella se vaya con él será una ventaja que no dejará pasar.

Olivia haciendo libros que no quieres dejar nunca. La verdad es que hace poco que conocí a esta autora pero los libros que llevo leído de ella me gustan mucho. Son un pelín más cortos y rápidos que los de Alexa pero son del mismo estilo... Y me encantan ❤️.
Este libro me ha parecido un poco más sangriento, Cormac se vuelve un poco loco matando a la gente y pegandoles pero bueno, han hecho un poco de exageración del jefe de la mafia. Aún así me ha encantado para pasar el rato! 😁

I enjoyed this book but not as much as the previous books. I like how alpha Cormac is. He is a dangerous crime lord yet when he sees Bree he has to have her. Cormac went to extremes to protect his woman and stop men from lusting after her. I like the chemistry between hero and heroine, the passion is clear to see. I liked Bree and Cormac as a couple, I just wanted more. Cormac met bree for around ten minutes; a few hours later he is confessing his love for her. I wanted more scenes between them and to see their love grow.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read. I cannot wait to read whatever Olivia releases next. I look forward to more over the top growly alphas.

This is the first book I've read by Olivia T. Turner and I've read her others since but this one is my favorite so far it seems she's gotten better with each new book. I absolutely love mobsters whether they're Italian, Russian or Irish and I'm a sucker for the older man/younger woman thing. Plus the whole "you owe me money so I'm taking what's mine" premise is hot as hell especially when it's Cormac Connelly. Bree is 18 years old, her dad owns a local restaurant and all they have are each other. Bree works entirely too hard and shoulders way too much responsibility for someone her age. Business at the restaurant hasn't been good and her dad is behind on his loan payments. Unfortunately he didn't get a loan from a bank he got it from Cormac Connelly, the head of the Irish Mafia. When two of his goons show up at the restaurant Bree knows there's gonna be trouble and to make things worse her dad already has a broken arm. After they break his other arm and one of them hits Bree she decides to take matters into her own hands. Cormac is shocked by his reaction to the beautiful redhead who comes into his office begging to take over her dad's loan. He knows immediately that he will do whatever it takes to make this woman happy for the rest of her life. My only complaint about this book was it was too short and I would've liked a lot more Cormac. He was so fucking hot and maybe his reaction to seeing Bree with a black eye was a little severe but I still loved him for it. He was a total bad ass but he treated Bree like a goddamn queen and she definitely deserved to be taken care of for once. I'm so looking forward to this author writing a lot more books.

As soon as Cormac sees the innocent and virginal Bree all hell breaks loose. This man will stop at nothing to have her, and he’ll do everything to make her happy. I also loved that Bree was willing to do anything for her man. These soulmates were super-hot and sexy. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

No hay mucho que decir de los libros de Olivia, siempre cumplen lo prometido, listo.
Breve, insta-love, protagonista alfa súper posesivo, generalmente una protagonista virgen y siempre final feliz garantizando.

En este caso, Bree quiere ayudar a pagar la deuda de su padre con el jefe de la mafia irlandesa y va a verle a su despacho. Por supuesto, él se queda hipnotizado al verla, así que irá a buscarla a casa de su padre para llevársela y casarse con ella.

Si buscas una lectura corta, pues ésta ya sabes lo que es. No es un gran libro, pero entretiene un rato mientras decido qué voy a leer.
