Indomitable: The Larcena Pennington Story

Rate this book
The latest exciting Western from bestselling author Fred Staff! Experience the west as you've never experienced it before!

If you liked Revenant, the highly-acclaimed movie, you will be spellbound by Indomitable. Revenant was based on the story of Hugh Glass and his struggle for survival. Indomitable is based on the story of Larcena Pennington, who suffered more and accomplished far more than Hugh Glass. Her story makes Revenant look like a walk in the park.

The Larcena Pennington story will leave the reader in a state of wonderment. The reader will think that it is pure fiction, because the challenges she faces seem so impossible that no one could have survived, but this novel is based on her life and many of the escapades are true as written. That is why INDOMITABLE was the only word that described her many trials and conquest.

This historical western novel captures a great story of Arizona and some of the people that were involved in its development. In my research I have fond many a great person or event, but seldom have I found one that contains insurmountable challenges, sheer determination, exhibitions of great religious faith and unchallenged family ties.

Wow!

I don't think I have ever had so many emotions while reading a book. This is a story you will not forget. What a tough lady Larcena was. She had so much sorrow in her life. But she did find her one true love, that is more than many get to do. This book is well worth a read. Thank you Fred Staff for a really awesome read.

Good story poorly written

The Larcena Pennington Saga is a good story. However, it was difficult to read because of 285 errors. Two of the Penningtons were named Elias, and 31 times Elias became Elisa. When I tried to count the eight Pennington children, I came up with seven girls and three boys, then later two more girl's names showed up.

This book was obviously not ready for publication.
