Generation Cherry is the toolkit for a new generation. Many people find themselves in a position of forced unemployment, whether it be through redundancy or retirement and Tim Drake's brilliant new book shows them how they can have a second bite of the cherry. Packed with useful information on what it means to be a Second-Biter and how that second bite can be turned into new and fulfilling, jobs, businesses or careers, Tim addresses the questions to ask and the actions to take. Setting out the Four Autonomies mindset, Tim shows how Earning, Learning, Giving and Re-Charging are key to the success of Generation Cherry and shows how and why retirement and redundancy can be the beginning of the best years of your life.
This may not be a book for young people, but would be a great gift for an older relative. Tim Drake has really hit the nail on the head! Many people arrive at retirement age or get made redundant and everything changes....it wrecks their lives or sends them into a dizzying spin towards depression. Without the proper support mechanisms, they don't know what to do. They used to be someone .. someone that used to be taken seriously, listened to .. someone who made important decisions. But it doesn't need to be like that. What better advice than to take a second bite at the cherry; do something meaningful, try to make a difference. What to know how to go about doing this? It'll help. It's clearly written with lots of examples and a world of experience behind it. Get this book! https://www.amazon.co.uk/Generation-C...
