This is the same Candy King character who appears in Candy's Halloween and some of the other Jefferson Pacific stories. Here, she evolves some. No longer only looking for sex, she wants a relationship. But things go wrong. Poor Candy! But compared to some other heroines in the Kella-verse, she's got a pleasant life. Jilly on the other hand...

Candy: A Steamy Transgender Romance is an emotional story of romance and rejection, with two equally strong main characters. Roger is hard to like at first, with all his frat boy smugness and silent prejudices, but when his date proves to be a set-up designed to embarrass both Candy and himself, he shows his true colors. It is not an instant-love story, and it takes some time for him to come to his senses, but that just means his grand gesture is that much more satisfying in the end.
