Alright, I am at 30% into Dragon's Touch and I do not like the characters enough to continue. The plot sounded very interesting: "Three mates for three brothers were needed to break the curse set on them by the powerful demon." However, Bree and Davin have not convinced me to see if their mating will help break the curse and save NYC.

Hint that the heroine is trashy and you're going to hate her: "oh he's hot, I should take him home and bang him.... Oh crap he's a really nice guy, there goes my plans for using him for sex- ABORT!"
Seriously, do women really do this outside of romance novels? If one of my friends pulled that crap I'd smack her and ask when she started taking drugs.
It took me forever to read this. The heroine was just so ridiculously dumb AND bitchy.
Six yes, SIX demons attacked me? Oh ok well then I'll just go for a stroll cause I'm a strong independent woman and if I want to die and get others hurt and possibly killed I'll do it cause no MAN will tell me what to do.
Sorry my eyes are sore from rolling them at this skanky twit.

*I would have liked more info on the brothers lives during the years they were awake and the years before their curse. I felt like we didn't really get much about them... Other than the hero had terrible taste in women. Had he always been attracted to harpies? Is this new? I'd have liked to know.

Interesting but something was missing
The story line was Interesting and a little different but I was expecting more of a love connection between them than just mental lust. Personally a few naughty scenes would have helped.

This was pretty good. It definitely got better as the story went on. In the beginning I was super frustrated with the two of them because they simply wouldn't communicate. Davin would tell Bree what to do, with no explanation, and expect her to obey. Bree would just go on with her life as if she hasn't been repeatedly attacked already thinking nothing would happen.
Davin and his two brothers are possibly the last dragon shifters alive. So it's too bad the three of them have been cursed by a demon over a century ago when they failed to protect the witch they were guarding. The curse goes awry when the witch uses the last of her strength to alter it. Now the brothers sleep for ten years and then are awake for one so that they might find their mate. All three mates are needed to break the curse. But something is wrong this time around. They have awoken a whole year too early. Fortunately though, two of the brothers can feel their mates and are able to follow their pull.
Davin had actually already found his mate the last time he was awake, but she was much too young at the time and his time awake was almost up. It doesn't take long for him to find her again this time, but boy does he go about trying to catch her the wrong way.
Bree lost her mother those nine years ago and has been trying to make something of herself by herself. She aspires to be an artist but refuses to use the money she got from her mother to make it happen. And because of her mouth, she often finds herself being kicked out of art shows. Nothing ever seems to go her way, but when she catches Davin's attention and feels this intense pull to him, she thinks things are finally looking up. ....Until Davin starts talking about mates, and demons, and dragons....
It's hard to say that if Bree's mom hadn't died she would have known that she was a witch or not, but she has absolutely no idea that that world even exists let alone that she's a part of it. She is literally thrown into it when she's constantly approached by a creepy woman and she witnesses things that she just can't explain. Davin does his best to protect her from the demon that cursed him when he shows up, but in the process a lot of people lose their lives. On the plus side, I was really happy that Bree completely embraces the bond with Davin and tries hard to use her magic.
It's after these two complete the mating bond that the story gets good and stays good. There's a lot to do and a lot going on. There's plenty of action and a betrayal that one of them never saw coming. It wasn't easy, but these two get their happy ending and now it's time for the next.

What an absolutely intriguing book this was. It had such a well-written storyline that flowed effortlessly and the magic seemed to just continue forever. For Davin, Quinn and Mannix it is another cycle and time to act; to fight, hunt and search for their mates. Three mates for three brothers were needed to break the curse set on them by the powerful Demon Andromalius, but something is wrong, because the brothers have woken earlier than they should have. Davin and Bree have met before. It was the day he witnessed the aftermath of the Demon attack on Bree’s mother, but he was too late to help, and Bree had already stumbled on the scene. Davin has dedicated his life to fighting the evil that comes from the Underworld and he had not wanted to burden Bree that day because she was too young for a life of hunting and fighting. Kaylee has been Bree’s best friend for years, but little does she know that Kaylee has a reason for keeping an eye on her, and her betrayal knows no bounds; but reprisal awaits. Bree has been raised with no knowledge of the power she possesses, but nevertheless she is a strong witch, even if she doesn’t realise it. Davin needs to protect her and care for her, but how can an untrained girl have such a hold on him. The city needs to be cleansed and warded, but the witches are under attack. Dead or missing witches, Demons upping their presence and a cursed cycle ending early; it all spelled trouble to Davin. Someone is trying to break the connection between Davin and Bree, but will they succeed? I really enjoyed reading this book and would certainly have no hesitation in recommending it.

She struggles with life, but it turns into an outright battle when gorgeous Davin Byrnes swoops in saving he's not only there to save her from demons but that he's her fated mate. To top it off, he claims to be a dragon shifter. This supernatural world is entirely new to Bree, and if she doesn't learn to use her own magic, she might not survive her introduction to it. Will she accept Davin and magic into her life or be another victim for the demons?
A well written paranormal romance. It starts with the three Byrnes brothers waking from a long sleep and seeking their mates. Even if they manage to find them, it isn't guaranteed their mates will accept them. Davin has his work cut out for him with Bree. She's strong and independent, but circumstances require her to fast fall into line. I liked the twist with the hooded demon, and the other two Byrnes brothers intrigued me more than Davin. This is an insta-lust for fated mates sort of paranormal romance, and I appreciated that no "I love you" was issued right away. Trust has to come first. And to find out if it does, you'll have to read it!

>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 1st in the Cursed Dragons series and ends in an HEA. Davin and his brothers have been cursed by a demon to sleep for 10 years and then they have one year to find their mates. If all three brothers can find their mates, the curse will be lifted. Davin can sense his mate and discovers Bree. Bree witnessed her mother die a horrific death 10 years prior. She is still a bit introverted due to that experience. Davin approaches Bree and lets her know he is a dragon shifter and she is his mate. In this world, paranormal creatures are unknown to humans, so Bree freaks out.
>I thought it was interesting how Bree really accepts Davin after her initial freak out. The comradery between the 3 brothers really showed a sense of family. The alpha tendencies of Davin was sexy as he was trying to protect Bree from the demons. There is a little bit of a twist as Bree comes in to powers of her own and the real purpose of the mates is revealed. This book is a quick read with a real sense of urgency, especially with the remaining brothers.

I had a advanced copy of this and must say it was very well written i loved the theme and brothers. My only gripe and in honesty its trivial is i didnt like the main heroine at all in the beginning, i understand she had been pulled into a world she didnt understand kicking and screaming but self preservation at least should have kicked in. She had lost her mother at a early age and had become very interdependent and selfish in my opinion. When Davin first approached her even when presented with evidence she was a witch and demons were after her she still ignored it all and put others in danger to further her own goals. It took 2/3 of the book before she finally grew up a bit and thought of more than herself and then the book really shone but i admit i struggled with her character but then again that is what makes a good series no heroine is meant to act the same overall i give this book a big recommendation. Well done Cecilia it looks like you have the start of a great series here.

His mate Bree Avery and she knows knowing about shifters, demons, vampire and witches or they she is a witch and his mate. Surprise lol
This has lots if action, drama, betrayals and great characters that I fell for easy. The story is so well writen and very interesting with lots of twists and turns. I couldn't put it down! If you like magic, witches, dragon Shifters and vampires with great action this is your book!

Keeping the bad away
in this book you have both good and bad witches, Dragons with a curse on them, Demons and lots of other supernatural beings. Along with lots of action and adventure.
three Dragon brothers, cursed unless they find their true mates, and only a year to do it in. Otherwise they go back into slumber for another 10 years.
But somethings different this time. They woke up a year early. The slumber only lasted 9 years.
Bree is a artist who grew up in the same city her mother was killed. Not knowing anything about her magical side alone with no training once it wakes up. There are some out to get her and do her harm or use her for the wrong side.
Well written and very entertaining self-contained story to read. Looking forward to reading about the next brother.

I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. Dragon's Touch is a dragon shifter romance. The Brynes brother's are cursed and the only way to break the curse is for them to find their fated mates. Davin is the oldest brother and the first to find his mate and travels to New York City to retrieve her. Bree Avery is totally unaware of the supernatural until Davin turned her world upside down. All of the sudden witches, vampires, and shifters are a part of her world. She just has to figure who is on her side and whom is out to get her. A hot, passionate, sexy read with a twist of mystery.

Davin and his two brothers are cursed dragon shifters. They sleep for ten years then have one year to look for their mates before they sleep again. Only with their mates will they be able to break the curse. They are also demon hunters sending evil back to the Underworld. One night, Davin finds his mate and rescues her from demons. He proceeds to blow Bree's mind to the reality of shifters, demons and witches. The reading is captivating as the Dragons and Bree seek to break the dragon's curse and locate the missing witches. Twists and turns will surprise and entertain. Great suspense and love story. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Five stars.

This book wasn't what I originally thought it was going to be, not in a bad way just different. If
dragons, demons and witches don't appeal to you then this book isn't for you.
This is the first book I've read from this author and she does have a nice writing style, easy to read, even when the plot turned a little darker.
I didn't really feel the connection between the 2 main characters at times and I felt the ending was a little rushed. The plot certainly continues I'm sure with the next brother Quinn and then finishing with the 3rd Dragon brother Mannix as even though Bree and Davin are together there was no conclusion or lifting of the curse.
Overall a easy book to read.

Great read!
This book surprised me, at first I was not sure I was going to like it. I kept reading and wow next thing I knew it was 1 in the morning and I couldn't stop reading! Loved it! It is different than a lot of my other books I read but I fell in love with these characters ! Bree is such a complex young witch growing into her own I got so attached to her! Ms. Lane did a great job of making fall in love with this book I can't wait for the next one! Worth reading I am so happy I did!

I was in doubt to give it 3 or 4 stars.
I liked reading about Devin and his brothers well enough to make it four.
Bree is struggling with almost everything.
Yes she just discovered her mother and her death weren’t like she thought, but her way of thinking is without grey areas. That’s what I cannot relate to.
When she discovers new facts about a possible relationship, maybe even a mate for life, there isn’t enough time to think.
Fortunately they get in a predicament together and that saves the story.
I liked reading about Devin and his brothers well enough to make it four.
Bree is struggling with almost everything.

Lots of action and romance
Great story packed with action and adventure along with romance. Bree is the type of women that speaks her mind and will not be weighed down by some handsome Dragon wanting to protect her. She has been on her own since her Mother's murder not able to see her destiny or recognize the danger she is in. Boy does that change with the arrival of her mate Davin. Quinn's story sounds like another winner.

Intense fight between good and evil
A very in depth and exciting dragon romance. This is not your light and fluffy romance. This is an action packed fight of good against evil, knowing your mate is in danger and unable to find her, and knowing your time is limited before a curse takes you away again. I love the three brothers and how each is so different from the other. The female is only now discovering herself and all she knows and felt safe with will change.

It was the interesting storyline that intrigued me to read this book.
Not disappointed, will be reading the other two books.

Riveting
I very much enjoy my shifters, each and every one of them.I like that ranch Each of the authors that i read has their own way of telling about their shifters. in this story Davin and Bree meet in the most unconventional way. From two different worlds, they come together to fight an evil enemy who could destroy all of them if they don't fight together. It is amazing what love and determination can do. Great read loved it👏👏

From two different worlds, they come together to fight an evil enemy who could destroy all of them if they don't fight together. It is amazing what love and determination can do. I love a good dragon shifter romance, and Davin and Bree had great chemistry. I enjoyed their story thoroughly, and I was intrigued by the story line about Davin and his brothers' sleeping cycle. It made for an interesting new premise. The steam was good, and I'd want to read more about the brothers' stories. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and also bought a copy.

Dragon's, Witches and Demons..
Since I've read a few of the books from this author I wasn't surprised that this story was up to par with her other stories. Great characters and a very good storyline...demons, witches and dragons who could ask for more. Definitely recommend this book for a good read. Mates and hot dragon's oh yeah!

I voluntarily read and reviewed this Advanced Readers Copy of this story. Cecelia Lane knows how to write a story. This new series is a must read. I enjoyed how the author pulled together the different paranormal characters and made the story take on a life of its own. I am really hoping there will be more stories in this series as I want to know what happens next.

Terrific!
This is a fairly fast read, but the characters, not just the main ones, are well developed. They make you root for and against. The Shifters of course are gorgeous and the girl curvy but a spit-fire, perfect mates. I'm looking forward to reading the other two, especially Nix! Recommend for all over 18, a couple too hot to touch scenes. Oh and love Shifters! 😁

Hot & sexy! This one had me hooked from page one! I stayed up past midnight to finish it! Intense sexy scenes, suspense, and romance all rolled into one. I love the imagination the author used to change up a shifter story to add a twist.

Great read
Great mix of adventure, human interaction, and fighting the bad guys.
There is also betrayal, demon possession, murder and did I mention the HOT LOVE.
