Ah...if only purgatory were a smidgen like the Green Room! It offers major body enhancements, spa landscaping options like "going bare or hair," and a bewitched counselor who believes in action as well as attitude. Best of all, there are girlfriends who have your back and cheer you all the way, while you and Karma strike a deal involving payback!
I'd say, "Sign me up!"
Imagine, finally reaching "middle age" with a sense of accomplishment and financial security, only to find out that your lying, cheating, rat-bastard of an ex-husband has left you bankrupt and broke. Could it get any worse? Well, yes. Waking up dead...
Yes, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, but heaven can wait till you get even with him! The girls in the Green Room have helped Linda open a can of "whoopass."

Omg!! This book made me laugh out loud and made my husband think I was crazy! Linda is simply a woman trying to get her groove back but she meets her demise in the most hilarious way. The friends she makes in heaven are a crack up and totally relatable. I love how she never feels sorry for herself no matter what happened to her on earth. The revenge she gets on her ex is hilarious and the way karma should work! Can't wait to read more from this series!

This book follows Linda White through her troubles in life and beyond . She meets Dee, Edwina, and Bonnie in the "Green Room." She also gets to meet a thing called "Karma". So much happens so fast that you will be laughing and giggling as you turn each page.

For all the fun and juiciness, you need to read this funny and sexy story.

I would say more but I don't want to ruin your fun!

Linda Gets Her Groove Thing is the second book in The Green Room Chronicles series by J.D Frettier. This is a paranormal fantasy, with plenty of laughs along the way. It is funny, cheeky, and entirely entertaining! There story has some supernatural elements, magic, karma, revenge, friendship, body enhancements, and some spice- in this witty romp.
Linda White had her whole world crumble out from under her. All her dreams lay tattered. Her husband cheated on her, left her financially ruined, and then up and died on her before she could get a little revenge. She finds some herself relying on some battery operated stress relief, and had something special in mind for a long haul trip overseas. But, the company has a little mix up and Linda doesn’t get what she wanted. She has a bit of a conniption and ends up in the Green Room. There she meets Dee and Bonnie (Book #1), and hilarity ensues!
As with the first book, the storyline is very original, clever, and quirky. The characters are quite endearing and quirky.
Another light-hearted, fun, and slightly tongue-in-cheek look at the afterlife!

Linda White is one fun Chick.
No matter what life throws at her she keeps moving on, when she unexpectedly dies in plane crash and meets two new friends in the afterlife things really kick up a notch. I'm not huge on spoilers the picture place where you can have your body shaped into whatever you want , you know the full on spa treatment. A place where getting revenge on your cheating ex husband in a way that you could never imagined possible... This book had me laughing out loud. It's totally relatable to any female out there I believe.i think Guys will get a kick out of it also. So if you're looking for a quick fun and happy read this is the one for you. I cannot wait for the next installment in The Green Room series

After devouring Desperately Seeking Sixty-Nine--the first book in this series--I couldn't wait to get my hands on Linda Gets Her Groove Thing. It's the second book in the Green Room Chronicles and is every bit as delightful, funny and entertaining as I had hoped it would be. I found myself completely immersed in the character interactions. Dee, Bonnie and Edwina are at their best as they help Linda acclimate to the afterlife. Without revealing any spoilers, the best part was the Karma coming full circle. I sure do like it when a cheater gets their comeuppance. I am truly looking forward to the next Green Room Adventure! Keep them coming JD Frettier! I am a huge fan.

Linda White dies during an argument over a battery operated boyfriend and finds herself in The Green Room. Alumni Dee Smeltzer and Bonnie Hampton take her in hand and show her the ropes. Not literally, that I know of anyway. But there are probably ropes and more in the naughty Green Room, but I digress. Anyway, Linda wants revenge against her dead husband, so Dee introduces her to Edwina Starr, local sorceress. Let the fun begin!

Ah, the Green Room where naughty fun shenanigans take place. If you’re looking for a lighthearted, short, fun read then this is one to pick up. From Linda’s untimely death to her quest for revenge against her cheating sleaze ball husband who had the misfortune to die and leave her massively in debt, the entertainment doesn’t stop. Edwina is brilliant, but you’ll want to stay on her good side. Yeeee! I’m looking forward to meeting new additions to the Green Room. Which is kinda weird because that means I’m wishing characters dead. Ah, well. lol

This is book two in The Green Room Chronicles, and I am pretty sure you can read as a stand alone however if you want to know about some of the characters I suggest you pick up book one.

Linda is hilarious even after her husband devastated her with divorce papers on top of losing all their funds she gets upset and let's just say it all goes uphill in big up way.

When Linda meets Dee and Bonnie lets just say you better have the depends handy because these women will have you in stitches.

This is a short, hilarious read and I would suggest it if you like a little naughty with your nice.

BOOK REVIEW: Linda Gets her Groove Thing By JD Frettier
Another hilarious book in this series by the author. Again, we follow Bonnie and Dee as they help their new found friend Linda as she enters the green. As they help Linda get accustomed to life after death in the green room and help her get revenge on her dead cheating husband and his mistress.
This is a true adult story with sexual references and talk about battery operated boyfriends. The book starts with Linda getting ready for her next long huel flight when her expected package arrives and it is not what she ordered, pissed she rings the company while on the phone her life ends and she is transported to the green room.
Linda tells Dee and Bonnie about her life and her cheating deadbeat husband who has also crossed over while drinking greenmosa. Dee and Bonnie decide to help Linda get what she deserves on her husband, starting with a perfect body sculpture.
With the help of some colourful characters Linda seeks her revenge starting with the mistress Misty who has a spell cast on her to make her bare coot suddenly sprouting hair while her new loves eats away.
The next is giving her cheating deadbeat of a husband what he thinks is the perfect member is large and crookened with no woman wanting him.
You laugh all the way through the book at the antics Dee and Bonnie help Linda get up to. It ends with Linda getting a special delivery from the UPS guy, just what she always wanted.
If you are looking for something hilarious and entertaining with just enough cheek then check out this book you wont regret it.

After a long day of meetings, I couldn't wait to listen to this novella by JD Frettier, desperately needing a laugh or two. After finding that her cheating husband not only had a mistress and left her in financial ruin, then had the nerve to die, Linda decides that boyfriends of the battery operated variety are the only way to go. However, things don't always go according to plan. We all know that dealing with customer service is a killer but poor Linda is the poster child.
Awakening in the Green Room, Linda is greeted by the Bonnie and Dee, from Desperately Seeking 69, and begins the process of acclimating to her new environment. Laughs abound as she is body sculpted and lead through the process by her new found friends. Still angry, Linda finds that she can help Karma along and finds allies in her plastic surgeon and Edwina Starr, sorceress extraordinaire. Watching Karma in action, I dare any reader to keep a straight face. This series is a lot of fun, with great characters and witty banter, and the narrator does an amazing job of differentiating the characters. I look forward to more stories from the Green Room from Ms. Frettier.

This is the second book in the amazing Green Room series. This series is growing on me. I fell for these characters once again. I was excited to read this book. This author is so talented the way she writes her characters. She takes you to another world that you will fall in love with. The storyline has it all great characters, humor, and some supernatural elements as well. I devoured this amazing story in only one sitting.

Linda White is a middle aged woman that is a little bitter. She is very upset that she never got to get her revenge on her ex husband. Linda’s ex husband left her in shambles when he passed away. She was supposed to get a special package to take with her on a work trip but the company sends the wrong thing. Linda calls customer service and she ends up getting so heated she finds herself in the Green Room. The Green Room is a place where you wait to see where you go in the afterlife. Linda meets two ladies that become her good friends. Will Linda finally feel accepted or will still feel like she is an outsider? Will Linda get her revenge she has been waiting for years to fulfill?

This book is the second in the Green Room series and provides many laughs for the reader with of course some sexual twists.

I enjoyed Linda but I found the book quite short and never found myself getting too attached to her character as much as I had wanted to. I loved the revenge she was able to cook up with Dr.Draper and Edwina Star and that provided some laughs!

This is the second book that I have read by this author and I liked it just as much as the first. If you are looking for a quick funny read this one is a good one. I highly suggest reading the first book in this series because we meet some of the characters in the book that is before this one. The characters are likeable and funny and I could connect to them very easily. I was laughing throughout this whole book and I am looking forward to reading more by this author. I would recommend this book to a friend.

This author has a gift for writing such humorous stories. Linda Gets her Groove Thing by J.D. Frettier a four-star read that will get your groove on. This is the second novel in The Green Room Chronicles series, and they can be read as stand-alone, but they are funny together as well. Linda White is such a fab character, she really was so funny and entertaining. Its crazy that reading about death and life after death and it being so funny that you will laugh out loud but its brilliant. This is well written and poignant with a great story you will enjoy.

Linda Gets her Groove Thing (The Green Room Chronicles #2) by J.D. Frettier was a funny, weird and entertaining read, that had me in belly laughs.

Not my first read by this author or in this series, I will say that they read as stand alone's so no worries about reading out of order, but I do suggest reading the first book so you can get to know Bonnie and Dee. These books are super short, this one only coming in at 90 pages, so if you wanted to catch up on the first book, it won't take you long to read it.

I am loving this little series. I had a time with the first story, but this one. This one showed use a little bit of a different side of the Green Room. I have to tell you that these books don't take themselves seriously. They are all in good fun. So don't get all bent out of sharp when these girl get explicit with their sex lives, beliefs or doctors visit. (You'll get it once you read this wonder)

Being as this book is so short I'm not going to get into the plot, because anything will ruin it, but I will tell you that you're going to laugh at the connection between the ending and the book cover. I had a good chuckle at it. Moving on.. I want you to know that the writing in this book is fun, easy to follow and has a bounciness to it, that just draws you in. The characters are something special, and are the life of a party. I hope when I kick it, I meet crazy peeps like Bonnie and Dee.

I give this book and this series my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval. It will make you laugh, giggle and hoping that the afterlife is going to just as fun, weird, and quirky as The Green Room.

JD Frettier gave us side-splitting laughs with her first installment in The Green Room Chronicles Book #1, Desperately Seeking Sixty-Nine. One again, Frettier delivers the hilarious scenes and romance fit to take you on one crazy trip to the ‘green room’. This is sort of like the equivalent to “purgatory”. I won’t lie, I kind of want to make a stop at the Green Room when I go. Between the upgrade options available for the body, the spa, quirky counselors to encourage all ideas (good and bad), and a team of ladies ready to be the besties to stand behind you while you exact that last plan of revenge from beginning to end. Yeah, I want to go!

Linda White never figured she would be where she is. She had just reached her middle point in life with all the financial security she could have ever asked for. Until her two-faced husband not only dies but his death reveals he had been leading a life of cheating behind her back, but they are buried in debt up to their ears. Couldn’t be worse right? Well…

Let’s just say Linda finds herself in the Green room. It isn’t long before the women there hear her story and a plan is hatched to get some much deserved revenge. Setting the scene for a lot of laughter and maybe even a few tears. I found myself reading this rather quickly and being super absorbed within the storyline from the very first page. I am highly anticipating the next adventure to come from the Green Room! Thanks so much JD Frettier!!

A great read about revenge. Linda is an airline hostess recently widowed from her husband. When she dies whilst making a phone call she ends up in the Green Room confused. But she soon makes friends and enjoys herself for once. Learning more about this new world she's been thrown into, she discovers that there may be a way to get her revenge on her husband. Can she fulfil her dream even from the other side?
A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns. Well developed characters like Linda standing up for herself but still vulnerable and unsure underneath. Great cast of supporting characters like the bubbly Bonnie or the funny and supportive Dee or the kind Edwina.
i loved the visual detail throughout the novel in its vivid sense of colour with the greens throughout for a bright and colourful version of the afterlife.
I also loved the sequel building on the original with new aspects to this fantastic world with the GreenTube and podcasts and the delivery man later on that are familiar but set in heaven instead and brilliant additions to the novel. I also loved the funny take on the spell later on clever use of words but still retaining the magical feel to it. I also loved the use of suspense over what Grey did to her, as she tells the story in intervals making you want to read on to find out what happened. I also liked the prologue and how she died doing something ordinary making it more realistic. Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars.

The story Linda Gets Her Groove Thing: A Spicy Romantic Comedy About the Afterlife (The Green Room Chronicles Book 2) by J.D. Frettier is a book the I enjoyed reading. It is a story filled with humor and satire. It is a short look into what is called “The Green Room” and the inhabitants there. I loved reading about the character of Linda White. Her story is one that will have you laughing and rolling your eyes as well as empathizing with all that she has been through. She is a woman who wants Karma to call on her ex-husband. This story has Linda meeting up with a few characters from the first book in the series. This includes Dee Smeltzer and Bonnie Hampton. They seem to hit it off well together. Linda also finds herself introduced to Edwina Starr. Will Edwina be able to help Linda on her mission against her ex-husband? Read this story to find out. This book has scenes that include adult situations and humor that should be read by those over the age of 18. This is a fun, well-written story that if you’re not careful you could laugh yourself right off the couch. It is a book I would recommend reading. I am hoping for another story in the series.

Linda has been anxiously awaiting the arrival of her new adult toy before her flight to Paris. When the package arrives, it turns out to be the wrong thing! She is livid! Then the call to customer service is even worse! Little does she know that is the last thing she does in her mortal life. Her life after death finds her in the Green Room. Here she meets some wonderful new friends, a doctor who can work wonders, and finds out that maybe she can get some sweet revenge on her cheating husband who passed before her. Never has the afterlife been this much fun!!!

This is definitely for adults only and those who are not faint of heart. That being said, this book (and series) is so much fun! It is so different than the first one, but still in the same vein of things. Linda is so great, and some of the characters from book 1 are back to keep her company. They way the story starts throws you right into just how fun and different this book really is. I can't say I've ever read anything like it before. I was literally laughing at loud! Not to mention, who hasn't wanted to get revenge on an ex?

If you don't take yourself too seriously and don't mind some spice in your books, I definitely recommend it! I cannot wait for more in this series!

Linda Gets Her Groove Thing is the 2nd novella in the Green Room Chronicles Series by J.D. Frettier. This series of books is set in the afterlife (the green room) and will have you laughing from the very first page right to the end. I devoured the first book in this series, Desperately Seeking Sixty-Nine in about an hour and this book was no different.
When Linda White opens her delivery and finds a butt plug instead of the super doper G Spot Stimulator she ordered, her phone call with the customer services department results in her demise and her appearance at The Green Room.
Once settled in at the Green Room, Linda is out for revenge on her also deceased husband and his mistress (still alive). The scenes in which she gets her revenge are hilarious and are so well thought out by the author. Like the first book this book is rather spicy and both acts of revenge are centred around bedroom activities making them even more hilarious.
Although a short read, there’s a lot packed into this novella and you won’t be disappointed with it. I already have the 3rd instalment of The Green Room Chronicles waiting on my kindle and I can’t wait to see what delights J.D. Frettier has in line next.

Linda Gets Her Groove Thing by J.D. Frettier is Book 2 in The Green Room Chronicles. This book is about a character named Linda White. Her husband Grey White cheated on her with his mistress and basically left Linda with NOTHING but, a few mortgages on the house meanwhile, his bought his mistress a place to live in cash with no mortgage and a boob job. Linda decides the only boyfriend for her is a battery operated boyfriend.
She orders a hot pink G-spot stimulator and received a black silicone vibrating butt plug. She is absolutely livid and calls customer service to complain. She gets herself so worked up she ends up dying that evening.

When she gets to the green room she meets none other then Dee and Bonnie from book 1. They teach her the ropes and introduce her to Dr Draper for BJ and she also speaks with him about a special for Mr White. Then she meets Edwina Star and she gets Linda the payback no one ever though possible.
I thought this book was well written and look forward to future books in this series.

This is the second book in a series called "The Green Room Chronicles" which tells short little tales about life after death. "LINDA GETS HER GROOVE THING" is a quick and easy read, I did not enjoy it as much as the first in the series. This was my personal thing, you might think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread - so don't go by me.

In Book 2, we get to briefly revisit the characters from Book 1 and learn about the newest member of "The Green Room". All of the references to the color green made me chuckle. I also liked the fact that there is a real store selling real items as written about in the book. Unfortunately the store appears to have closed, but the product is real. As a result I went down the rabbit hole into a weirdly wonderful blog about toys. 2 hours and a lot of education later, I came back here to write this review.

I look forward to more installments in this series.
