D.C.I. Terry McGuire is believed to be dead, having fallen into a fast flowing river.
Strange things are happening at a war veteran rehabilitation centre where a dark secret lurks in the basement.
An old woman living on the streets of Porthcawl, is found murdered on the beach and, when another vagrant disappears, police begin to suspect a serial killer is on the loose.
Meanwhile, terrorists are attacking London and when a secret document is discovered at a security convention in Wales, two local coppers suspect government involvement in the terror attacks. When one of those officers is killed in a freak road traffic collision and the other attacked and goes on the run, those suspicions become clearer.
McGuire's team find themselves caught up in events that threaten the lives of all who become involved.

Terry McGuire- a gem of a character!

Have read all 7 of the Terry Mcguire books. Each one better than the previous. Love the sense of humour that comes through from the characters. I live in the Ystradgynlais area, so its great having local places mentioned in the book. Looking forward to the next instalment in the this entertaining series.
