At twenty-one, Lea Dale is well-adjusted and happy, despite the facial scars she's carried since infancy. She has friends in the highest of places, possesses colorful vision (since for some reason she can see auras around folks), and her family and friends adore her. Corrective surgery is a possibility, but not one Lea has felt the need to consider—until wealthy investor Laren Meadows walks into her life and turns it upside down. Suddenly, Lea is painfully conscious of her lack of perfection, given Laren's flawless looks and ultra-charming personality. What a blessing that he's attracted to her despite her scars—and even her special angel seems to approve of the match. Then a secret from Laren's past threatens to destroy any hope of a future for the two of them. Now there's only one way for Lea to know if Laren's love is true, but taking that action could mark the end of their relationship. Can love survive such a tangled mess of physical and emotional scars?

I love meeting Solomon, the angel in Delia's stories! He's like that first warm, spring wind, or the streetlight when it's just too dark, or the smell of coffee when you just wake up...you know what I mean...he's just what you need when you need it! And that's just what he is to Lea - just what she needs for guidance.
This is such a sweet story! With a twist that will throw you as much as it does to Lea. This story made me smile at times, and grow teary eyed at others. Wonderful, wonderful! Don't miss this one!
It is hard to straighten my thoughts after reading this wonderful story. I did enjoyed the story as a loving emotional heart felt story. The teaching portion of the story was tender and living but encouraged you to think of your actions to see other in a new light. The movement of God through out the story. Not over powering but supportive and loving.
Delia Latham and Tanya Stowe have written a beautiful story here. In these few pages you come to know characters with depth and follow them as they work through questions of love, faith, doubt and acceptance. Lea in particular is a beautiful character, and will leave you wishing to know her better.
Delia Latham is fast becoming a new favourite author. I love the flow of her writing start to finish. I really couldn't stop reading and am now sad that new friends stories have finished.
What a wonderful Christmas story. I loved the characters. I love stories of angels. Solomon is a angel I think I would love to meet. Lea had a wonderful relationship with this angel. Lea who was in a fire and scarred for life learns to live with her scars from childhood. Lea works for her father to help children like her. Getting ready for the Christmas season which is very special and in walks a stranger Laren . Lea is taken back how handsome he is and instantly is in love. Lauren has some baggage in his own life. can these two come together? Can love come of this for Laren and Lea? Awesome story I love the spiritual parts in the book. I started the book and didn't put it down till I was finished. I have not found a book by Delia Latham I haven't loved.
