STERN - 'A masterpiece of femdom erotica, (Goodreads) 'Fantastic femdom novel.' (UK Amazon) 'A wonderful story ... The very best of the genre.' (USA Amazon) 'Modern femdom classic.' (Goodreads) 'Superbly written.' (USA Amazon)
Three erotic novels - 'The Devlin Woman' and its sequels 'Slave Song' and 'Contessa' now published in a single edition. (156000 words)
Dreams of submission to a stern and beautiful woman have haunted David Corrie all his life, and when his wife leaves him in the hands of a formidable older woman his dreams come true in ways he never imagined possible. What begins as a week-end sex game becomes a sensual and darkly erotic descent into complete submission -
'He threw himself into the work, hard labour his only way of forgetting the ordeal ahead but, when he came back at the appointed time, he saw his housekeeping dress billowing gently on the line where Ann had pegged it out to dry. The sight of it sent a frisson of pure terror down his spine, and yet he felt a deep undercurrent of masochistic arousal. He told himself to run away, take the farm-track to the road, and hitch a ride home. He’d go to one of his friends and ask for help. What was to stop him? He didn’t have to go through with this. It was more than any man could bear. But he didn’t move, and he remained by the drying-line, a man in a dream. Finally, after long moments, he took his dress from the line and went inside.'

Molly Sands is a beautiful writer with a strong penchant for character development. The story captured my imagination even if at times it seemed implausible. Written with quintessential British flare (the Brit's just get Femdom) this trilogy guides the reader through David's desire to submit and serve. A desire which seems to even bedevil David as he sinks further and further into submission and slavery.
How a submissive husband slides further and further down the road to complete submission. Wife, lends husband to her cruel bestie for the weekend, needing a rest from his moans, and ends up leaving him there for the duration.
I'm not sure if the single book would be much fun. As a trilogy, however, it's a masterpiece of Femdom Erotica. It paces slow and develops the characters greatly. And the ending is outstanding. I would suggest to read the full trilogy.
David has lost all semblance of masculinity, yet his mistress Ann has even larger plans that remain a mystery. This triple header is well written, dreadfully real and as a man, the coup de gras to the extremes of cuckoldry. Con-sensuality, the stem wall to this dynamic on S &M, the husband who desires to leave his masculinity behind to love women as a sissy may not realize the extent of his submissiveness and the repercussions. Reading this story will enlighten any male interested in subjugating himself to his loving wife and mistress. It appears that somehow getting the wife to punish him, betray him, or take another man in front of him somehow removes the shame and guilt of this transgressive journey, nuances the cuckold’s reward into his wife’s freedom as the eroticized result of all insecurity, inadequacy, and masculine efforts to be comfortable as a man according to societal indoctrinations. Today open marriage’s might take this path to sugar coat both husband and wife as they subscribe to honesty and trust to reinforce the communications needed to allow consent to prosper in what is really just having an affair with each others blessing. Maybe it works, probably it won’t. Molly Sands is a genius in this genera and that is a fact. Read all her/ his books!
One of the best and most recommended of "real life" femdom sagas. Molly Sands writes slow burning, loitering in your mind femdom adventures. There is a blend of female-led romance, but also psychological cruelty revealed through scenes of humiliation crafted by females who discover their latent potential for dominance. By its title this is one of those with more cruel aspects - these come progressively to the fore as the books in this volume go on. Definitely worth reading to the end of the saga to fully appreciate this.
I would agree with what the other reviewers have said here. The book that made me appreciate Molly Sands was the Devlin Woman but it works if you read it in conjunction with its sequel. This volume has that and the further installment, "Contessa" where things really develop. As a book of the complete trilogy it's probably a modern femdom classic.
Very much a 'Be Careful What You Wish For Story'. A tantalizing trip down a dark pathway. One of the very best Female Domination and male submission stories I've read. The Devlin Woman (part 1) and Slave Song (part 2) are on Goodreads Best Domme / Fem-Dom List and rightfully so. I think they should be higher on the list though.
