Not the most interesting book, but if you like minecraft you will be in for a good book. As I said, not very interesting, and you won't understand it much if you don't play Minecraft.
I just love this book it is good for kid who love Minecraft and love to read even for me I hate reading but this is so funny!😂
This was an amazing book I just love how it gives kids like me an amazing life example at the end that we all are different in good and bad ways but if we over look them you can see you had a friend you never even though you could!
It was awesome and pretty funny. I read this because I like the creepers in minecraft. And this book really blew me up. Get it? Anyhoo, I will give this book 4 stars. It's a pretty good rating, don't you think?
So read this book and it might, truly, really blow you up.
0*My kid was really excited for this book, but DNF’d at about 20-25pg with serious disappointment. At around page 10-15 they started saying, “Oh no, they aren’t going to ruin this with some stupid ableism are they?”. Then, around page 20-25, they said “They did. I don’t think I can read this.” I was reading with them and totally agree.
In the scant pages my kid read, the author seemed to be making fun of special education classrooms and photos of humans with facial anomalies. I’m fairly certain all of the photos were fake (obviously one with teeth for eyes can’t be real), but some do resemble how people with actual medical conditions resulting facial anomalies can look. And it’s obviously supposed to be laughed at. For example, there is one person without a nose, which is a real, but rare medical condition. This is where my kid said they just couldn’t read it.
Diary of a Minecraft Creeper is a hilarious and imaginative dive into the life of a Minecraft Creeper, told from their perspective. Pixel Kid brilliantly captures the quirky humor and blocky charm of the Minecraft universe, making this book a treat for fans of the game.
The protagonist, Jasper the Creeper, navigates relatable school drama, friendships, and adventures, all while grappling with his “explosive” nature. The diary-style storytelling is easy to follow, packed with funny moments, and keeps young readers engaged. The illustrations sprinkled throughout add to the fun, bringing Jasper’s world to life.
This book is perfect for kids aged 7-12, especially Minecraft enthusiasts, but its humor and creativity can entertain readers of all ages. It’s a light, entertaining read that encourages imagination and empathy, even for misunderstood mobs.

Super cute book. I read it on my 8-year old’s request. Very cute if your kid likes Minecraft and wants to read a simple book about creepers. I’m glad I’ve listened to his ramblings about Minecraft so I understood many of the jokes.
Makes a sexist joke about “ ugly girls” seriously? My Minecraft lover is a girl and having to explain to her why an ugly girl is such a joke ruined the book to say the least. Really disappointing that this is ok
I really like this book because it try's to make it so creepers are liked. I don't not like it. I will read this to my little brother. Well I gave it this many stars because it's just amazing 🤩 PLEASE MAKE MORE PLEASE
I chose 5 stars because I like the book, and the characters, but they did change the book up a bit so it was not completely copied. But I wish the books can be longer. 💕
