Lilliah was gone, dead. And he had been the one to kill her.
The Devil had made him his puppet, forcing him to do the unthinkable. Now Azrael was left with the devastation and a world crumbling around him. With Lucifer’s army getting stronger, now wasn’t the time to mourn. Now was the time to fight.
He’d once again go up against Lucifer, this time finishing what Lilliah started. Then, somehow, after it was all over, he’d get her back
Thanks to Sophia for advancing me a copy because it was well worth the wait. Requiem was the perfect ending to this series, the trials and tribulation, the uncertainty of what the future could hold was all culminated into one great battle of heaven vs hell on earth. Without spoilers I will say I am happy with how it all turned out.
Ok, so I love these kind of books, angels, vampires, love, all that kinda jazz. But this series of books, I just wasn't feeling it. At the very beginning, I knew it wasn't right. Everything was just so rushed, it didn't feel natural. One minute Azrael had spent hundreds of years following this girl,(Lilliah) stalking her, with the sole purpose of killing her, the next minute they meet and suddenly their in love!? There was no build up, no romance, no butterflies in the tummy. I didn't feel excited for them. There was a lot of strange moments, for example, in book 3, Lilliah's best friend, who she apparently loves so dearly, was possessed by a demon, so they had to perform an exorcism, yet whilst they were doing it, Lilliah had to stop herself from giggling?? Like, what? If my best friend was having an exorcism, I wouldn't be giggling, I'd be freaking crying! Another moment, (again in book 3) Azrael gives this big speach about how much she means to him and how he loves her, and how does the author have Lilliah reply?? Lilliah doesn't say anything, she just takes off her top and invites him to have a shower with her. Really. And there's no intimate moments!! Nothing more than quick hard kisses, and even they aren't enough to make your tummy flip. I personally just found the series annoying, it had potential to be really good, but unfortunately it wasn't. Usually when I get to the end of a series, I feel sad that it's over, but this time, I wasn't bothered. When I read a series, I want to fall in love with the characters, I want to feel every emotion and get lost in the story, but sadly I didn't feel anything with this series.
I would definitely recommend this whole series!!! This book so great 😁, at first I thought that I was going to be so unhappy, but I was so excited about the whole book from beginning to end... It literally kept me on the edge from each page... I couldn't put this book down... so glad I had some extra time while we were driving to the airport to read it, so I didn't feel guilty just reading and not doing anything else.....
A beautifully written books which kept me awake and turning pages into the early hours. A family without love is entirely without any significant impact other than to remind the members that there should be more than just cohabiting. This book shows how families should pull together related or not, wether human or otherworldly beings. Love conquers over evil in every walk of life or death.Right and wrong are clearly defined but is left to the conscience of the individual. Thank you Sofia Stafford not just for your amazing booking for the lessons learned therein.
There were a few parts in this book that actually made my jaw drop. I have never experienced that in a book before. There were some things that you could tell would happen, which was the idea, but some things it just came out of nowhere. I am extremely happy with the ending and I am happy for the characters. I haven't been this emotionally into a book series in a long time. I plan on reading this series over again and again in the near future. I am so glad I got into the series. Totally recommend!!
This is a cleverly conceived tale of the ultimate Good vs Evil war. Winner take all. Of course we have romance and extreme family issues. But aren't these to be expected when the end of the world is nearing. I'm scoring this series as one book. Some small bumps along the way, but nothing major. A tremendous effort and i greatly appreciate the interesting ang!e..
I was drawn into this series and just finished the ending. I’m extremely happy the intimate scenes didn’t get trashy and ruin it for me. I found myself laughing, crying, and angry at times; all the feels for a good story. I had to sacrifice a lot of sleep, but it was well worth it and I know these characters will stay with me for a long time. I love when that happens!
I waited so long for this book and it did not disappoint. I love the ending but I am sad to say goodbye to the series. I love the way the characters have progressed and all the twists and turns. I could not out it down. I pre-ordered it the minute I knew it was available and counted down the days til I could read it. Well done Sophia Stafford xx
I must say this is one of the best series I've read in a very long time. To the point I was aching for book 3 to be released. Sophia, you did an AWESOME job tying up the end of the series. I bow down to you. To anyone who hasn't read the series, what are you waiting for...
I really enjoyed the series, the romance the of good and evil, heaven and hell, the characters were amazing. The series was so intense I couldn't stop reading and to finally have the last book felt awesome. This bought so much tension and tears while reading. Thank you for such a beautiful story
It took a bit to get back into the series. The beginning was a bit slow. However, it wasn't long before was was reminded why I liked the series in the first place. The story does pick up pace, Lucifer makes appearances, and some interesting facts are revealed.
I just can’t with these books. I thought this one would pick up but it still left me wanting to stop reading. I got to chapter 19 then just skipped to the last chapter. The second one was better then the others but even then I just don’t think I could recommend these books. It’s sad because i really wanted to like them. I’m honestly shocked I even finished them after the first book.
Perfect ending to a really creative and extremely enjoyable/addictive set of books, would love to read some extension to the characters where life has taken them what other things they come up against, I really enjoyed this set and look forward to read more of Miss Stafford's work
Loved the ending but man I don’t think they revised this book at all! It had a bunch of typos which was annoying and also a bunch of underscores between words thru out the chapter. If u are ok reading it like this then go for it but if this bothers u skip the whole series!
I've finished this series and the story was great kept me reading to the end.lots of emotion and action.the characters are wonderfully detaile d .I suggest you check this authors books out....
It so needed to be proofread better. There were many place the wrong word was used. Sometimes making it difficult to follow the story. All in all it was a good read though. Good finish to the series.
Good series, but would have liked to see more of everyone's normal life without Lucifer, as well as what's going on in Heaven now. I hope there is another book, as I feel the story isn't complete, IMHO.
The first book started off slow and I wasn't sure about the series then BUT halfway through the first book, I was hooked. Sophia made the 3rd book a chaotic masterpiece. I loved it from the first page!
Creative, well written, and obvious the author has a great future ahead of her! I only wish I could have been one of her editors to correct the many typos that I found. However, even so, the storyline over shadowed them to make an exceptional series.
Nice tie up even though it was fast. I don't get Michael as in the Archangel Michael, doing nothing then falling at the hands of L. Liked the banter back and forth that was entertaining and needed. I loved Lil and Becca, two kick ass chicks taking no prisoners. All in all a nice change of pace

So much action! Never a dull moment! Laugh, cry, hold your breath, puzzled, etc! You definitely don't want to miss out on this exciting SERIES! Wish they would make a movie!!!
This book, and series, has everything a reader wants. Love, Action, Twists, and Turns. I couldn't read it fast enough. The book ties up so many questions that you didn't realize we're unanswered. Great Story!
