The fourth adventure begins with Chives seeking them out to help as Viola's habits have changed.
They enter an O'Keefe painting and overcome obstacles to connect with David. After he agrees to go home, Chives is injured and won't be able to get back to the location to return through the magical frame in time. David decides to stay with Chives and the two kids return to reality. They do convince Viola to leave her home and come next door to celebrate her 80 birthday with their families.
Swift read that draws the reader in and adds knowledge about O'Keefe and the area of Arizona where she painted.
