When a lonely young woman finds that she’s destined to be the mate of two ancient and battle hardened dragons, life as she knows it is about to change. Lilly has led an opulent but lonely life with her wealthy adopted parents. She’s never really fit into their world. She finds out why when her biological sister comes looking for her, telling her she’s not quite human. When Lilly meets two huge and ancient dragon shifters who claim she is theirs, she runs scared. Rhyndor is one of only a few warrior dragons left who have survived centuries on earth. He’s battle-scarred, and full of guilt about something he did many years ago. He’s alive but not living. Drifting through the world on autopilot; until he meets Lilly. She re-awakens the protector within, and he must have her. Callum is about to get everything he wants. The female he craves is within their grasp, and even better, she’s brought out the warrior spirit within his bonded male, Rhyndor. But then she runs from them, and Rhyndor gets the crazy idea he needs to atone for his sins. Instead of getting everything he wants, Callum might be about to lose it all. Lilly is book three of the Dragon Clan series, but can be read as a stand alone novel.
I'm a UK based author who loves to read and write all things romance. As Skye Jones I write steamy paranormal romance that ranges from light and fun to dark and gritty.
As S.R. Jones I write darker contemporary romance and romantic suspense.
I live in Yorkshire, and get lots of inspiration from the windswept moors, the old stone buildings and the Celtic myths of this fair isle.
My dogs are my favourite people, and I'm quite fond of my husband too. I love chocolate and starbucks mochas and keep meaning to give them up for a life as a svelte fashion plate - it never happens!
Another Havsa sister is found now and is brought back to Scotland to meet her sisters and learn what she really is, only Lilly isn't sure she wants to stick around. She had a very privileged life back home in the States, but the real reason is she misses the independence and her volunteer work at the animal shelter, the animals there give her unconditional love. But when she discovers those 2 very huge sexy men she hasn't been able to get out of her mind and dreams of ever since he saw them in NYC walk through the door of her sisters home she rethinks her desires. Then she flees as she discovers they are too much for her little heart to take.
Ryndor is one of the dragons to have lived the longest, once a fierce warrior he now lives with the guilt of what an evil woman made him do ages ago.. He has made it his life's mission to atone for his evil deeds, even having found his true match in Callum and Lilly will not deter him. Will this decision take him away from what every dragon desires most in his long life?
This series is very deep in it's history and I am loving how it unfolds.
You’re ours. Made for us, as we are for you. There’s magic at work here. Fate. The gods want it this way. Two men for every female… Tempting her. Masculine and powerful, they’d starred in her deepest, darkest fantasies. She’ll be safe and secure with us…and very, very content. WHOA! WOW!! Talk about being blown away! I have read and LOVED every single paranormal story ever written by Skye, but this one completely took my breath away! I ABSO-LILLY-LUTELY love, Love, LOVE this book!! It is funny, hot, heartbreaking, loving, hot, sad, frustrating, hot and everything in between! And that ending?! WOW! I didn't know I could hold my breath that long! Talk about shocking!! I can't even think of what else to say other than HOLY *BEEP*!! It actually took me at least 4 times to read the ending (the last couple of chapters) and actually absorb it all! I was just completely flabbergasted, bowled over, stunned, surprized, rendered speechless (a rare feat I assure you!) and breathless and so overwhelmed with emotions, I had a hard time reading through the tears pouring down my face! To say it was suspenseful, beautiful and AH-MAZ-ING is putting it mildly! It was a truly MATERRIFIC Dragon Experience! While I do love the characters, I have to say that for the first third or so of the story I alternated between liking & feeling sorry for Lilly to wanting to smack her into next week! HOWEVER that side of her that drove me nuts or p.o.'d me so much ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY fits the story! And I LOVE that Skye created a character like that because it all adds to the "legitimacy" or “realism”, enriching and enhancing it all that much more!! The way that Skye tells this story is more like she's painting it to life with her lush descriptions, the details given for key moments - or what I think of as key moments – that had me totally invested, devoted and wanting - NEEDING - a Happy Ever After ending after the emotional roller coaster ride that I went through... I mean that Lilly, Callum and Rhyndor went through! But it DID feel personal to me, like I did have a personal stake in this outcome all for one simple reason - the Skye factor. I know she is a phenomenal author who is beyond talented as that is evident in every book of hers and why she is one of my Absolute Favorite Authors and that definitely applies & continues with this book as well. But for me, the heart, the passion, the power of the emotions has this one soaring to all time Skye high levels! It feels like Skye felt the same way too, that she was writing her story because it had these cozy, life-like tones to it. I didn't just read it, I lived it, I felt every emotion the characters did, I cried - outright bawled a few times - with them and for them when they couldn't or wouldn't! I wish I could say more to emphasize how much I love this book, how deeply it affected & touched me, but I don't want to ruin any little bit of it for you! Suffice it to say - I was wholly, utterly and completely consumed - mind, body, soul and heart!
ARC. BRAVO ! 😍 TWO HOT SEXY YUMMY ALPHA BADBOY DRAGONS Lilly was adopted by American couple , she lives and works in Connecticut. She works at animal shelter. Her best friend is Missy. She is still hoping that her errant ex boyfriend Zach , who ran away with a girl to France will come back to her. One day , a couple said they are related , the woman is Lilly's sister Claire and her husband Nathan from the Scottish Highlands When Lilly gets to the Scottish Highland , her sister Claire's husband Nathan is the leader of a clan of dragons and the other bonded mate is Dominic . Lilly can't shift to dragon-form cause she's a latent dragon . There is also other sister Mia, mated to Aiden and Steffan . They are trying to find mates for Lilly from the other dragon clans, also. About 18 months ago , in NYC , she had instant connection with two huge massive men. The two men are fated mates to Lilly . Rhyndor was an enemy to the dragon clans due to being bespelled or enchantment. Callum is cousin to the leader of the clan Nathan . Both Rhyndor and Callum are bonded males. Can Lilly's latent dragon be woken up by threats to herself, violence towards her and her fated mates close by. Time will tell for Lilly , Rhyndor and Callum. HEA? I love reading from this author Skype Jones. The strong structure storyline and well developed characters and supporting characters brilliant exquisitely well written. The story is drama rom-com adventure provocative hot captivating sizzling chemistry strength of character and captivating from start to finish 💋 💖 I voluntarily ARC for honest review and recommend this book to everyone 😆
This is another great story in the series about sisters who find out that they are part of a legacy they never expected. As they learn about their abilities and reunite with their family, they also find their mates.
Lilly is not sure she wants to be part of this dragon world. It is so different from her old life. She appreciates her sister wanting to get to know her but is not sure she wouldn't be better off back home even though she always felt different. Her ex is there too and she finds it hard to break that tie.
She is shocked when Rhyndor and Callum announce they are her mates. These two dragons are mates and know she belongs with them. Rhyndor has a difficult past and Callum hopes finding their mate will help heal him.
I really enjoyed the storyline. Each of them gets a chance to tell the story and it helps you connect to the characters. Lilly is young and really struggling to figure out what she wants. Callum is kind of arrogant and not one to reveal his emotions easily. Rhyndor has suffered so much pain and loss and you feel for this proud man trying to right the wrongs of his past. Together, they make a really strong triad. The feelings build quickly and they have great chemistry.
I don't know how Skye Jones does it. I'm amazed at how she manages to keep delivering more dragons to fall in love with and new and interesting latent dragon sisters to root for. I'll admit, Lilly is a tad frustrating personality-wise, but 100% believable and understandable. With sisters growing up in such wildly different circumstances and countries, you gotta expect a few difficult personalities. It was also great to learn more about the mysterious Ryhndor. If you haven't read the series yet, they can be read as standalones, but I think the story is more enjoyable when you read them in chronological order so you can see the search for each sister from the beginning. Every story is a well paced journey to each latent dragon female learning who she is and understanding her new reality. I also feel that the story to sex ratio is perfectly balanced. With each book, you recieve a little more information about previous characters and the secondary storylines you've been following, this is all balanced out with saucy sex scences that are perfectly timed and placed to give the reader a short commercial break from the current drama in the book. I'm in love with Ms. Jones' dragon triads and the world she has built. I need more and can't wait to read Gwen, book 4 in the series.
4.5 Stars. I found I hooked in Lilly, the poor little rich girl, and her two dragon would-be mates, more than I imagined I would having read the two prior works (although they all work as stand-alones.)
Disclaimer: I'm acquainted with the author on social media.
Lilly is resistant to the idea of changing her whole life to become the anchor for a dragon triad, though the idea of sex with two hot dragon shifter men does not put her off. (I'm with you, girl.) She's also been emotionally entangled with a mess of a human man (also with her, there) that she needs to sort out before she can move on.
There's lots of erotic tension and some sex, but it's much more a coming of age novel. And Lilly's connection with her two birth sisters is an important piece of her struggle, as well. The dragon shifter males are hot, as required, but there's also a theme of bad boy/outcast redemption that gives it depth and good conflict. Really good read.
Lilly is another Havsa sister of Claire and Mia, but unlike her sisters Lilly has lead a very privileged life back in the states with wealthy and sort of aloof parents that still cared about her very much, but Lilly is also pinning over her ex Zach. A boy that emotionally abused her because he’s been brought up that way and because wealthy people have affairs all the time, but still doesn’t make it okay and that stops Lilly from really connecting to the wo makes she was destined to be with.
Rhyndor is a powerful male Dragon with a very tortured past. He lost his bonded male because of a mistake a mistake that wasn’t of his own free will and through the years he’s lost his true self and now his new new bonded male knows the only way to bring him back is for him to feel their destined female, but Rhyndor and Callum can’t force Lilly if she doesn’t want them. They want a real chance but the obstacles they all have to fight will be the ultimate test for their powerful triad.
I read the first 2 books a while ago. I have fallen in love with each of the books main characters. This author writes so well that you feel so much right from the beginning. I am a sucker for an awesome m/m/f story. And of course the fact they are dragons give it extra bonus points in my opinion. Rhyndor and Callum have been together for centuries. Their clans thought they each had died. Since discovering Lily they put themselves in danger by coming back to Clan Scotland. Rhyn killed Steffan's mate a long time ago when an evil witch named Celine took control of his body and made him do horrible things. Can he be forgiven? Can he repair some of the cursed damage he wrought? What about Lily? She longs to just be living a human life where she feels like she belongs. She has just met these 2 males. Can she really know if she wants to spend centuries of her life tied to Rhyn and Callum?
Rhyndor and Callum are bonded mates looking for their female mate. They saw their mate in the human world and have been keeping a watch over her. Lilly was raised human and doesn't know she is a latent dragon but she felt something when she came near Rhyndor and Callum. Lilly sister Claire takes her to her clan to learn and she lives with Claire, Nathan and Dom as she learns how to control her fire. Then many dragons came to see Lilly to see if she is their mate. When Rhyndor and Callum show up trouble starts. This story is a great read. I have enjoyed reading about Lilly and the two books before this one, Ice and Mia. These three books should be on your must read list. I do hope Skye Jones come out with more books about other sisters in this series. I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy.
Terrific story of dragons, clans and relationships!!
Lilly is found by her sister and is told she is a latent dragon. She has never displayed any powers and feels uncomfortable in this strange place. She misses the animals at the shelter where she volunteers, and thinks about her ex-boyfriend Zach and wonder if they will be “on again” any time soon.
A spectacular story of fated mates, making amends, family and clan, and awakening of magic and dragons within. The personal development of each character and the relationships that grow between them make this an incredible read.
I highly recommend the entire series.
*** I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book ***
Lilly is one of the lost dragon sisters only she didn't know it. She always wanted a family to love and family to love her back but her adopted mom and dad are stuffy. When a women shows up telling her they are sisters she knows in her heart it's true but it's too good to be true and she was right when she hears the news thier all dragons, then two hot guys show up saying thier mates and every thing hits the fan. Love the action and drama in this one. The characters are deep. the interaction between the characters are always changing and growing. Shifter fans you will love it Voluntarily reviewed a copy and I honestly loved it.
Wow... this series just gets better and better with each new book that comes out.. The author has done an amazing job of bringing together Lilly, Rhyndor and Callum.. I want to say that this story starts of with a bang and keep you entertained throughout... When Lilly gets scared and runs, will Rhyndor and Callum be able to find her and protect her from evil lurking in the shadows..
Great shifter romance, the story was enchanting and completely consuming, I couldn't put it down, the characters were sweet but had an in-depth endearing quality that drew you into their story. If you enjoy a sweet and enjoyable shifter romance with hot MMF action and steamy dragons, then this book is for you.
I received a copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review.
What a way to find out you're not human. Our heroine suffers from insecurity, her well planned life isn't turning out the way she thought. Self realization is big in this story, so is guilt and honor. When it comes down to it, our heroine wants it all and she's going to get it.
One thing really struck me about this book. It is the way the author described the dragons. Most dragon books ted to have giant handsome dragons. This book had small, fat, various colors and other cool attributes.
It is book 3 of a series. I've read all 3 books and although it can stand alone it's better read in order. This on was my favorite one of the series.
I am so in love with Skye Jones's dragons! I was really worried about reading Lilly's story. I was scared I would hate Rhyndor...but the man is amazing! This might be my favorite book in the series so far. If you haven't read them yet, you should!
The scenes were steamy. The story had a nice flow. It felt a bit rushed, more so at the end than anything else. I liked this one a bit more than the last two. I do like how the author ties them all together though. Good read.
Loved this book!! The books in this series just keep getting better!!! I loved the deep connection these characters had with each other!!!! One of my favorite Paranormal series!!!!
