I absolutely hated how the author broke the story into so many books, I for one cannot stand a cliffhanger unless there are four hundred or more pages in a book and even then..... That being said I was pulled into this story. Mia is trying to save her brother from a fate in jail. She under went such a dramatic change in order to infiltrate her brother's Seal team to find a killer. Her ex, Grant, being part of that team. Mia held some secrets that destroyed her and Grant's relationship. She will stop at nothing to find the truth but it could get her killed. The last book is full of shocking revelations but worth the ending if you chose to make it that far.
This review might contain some spoilers so beware if you don't want a clue. I would almost say to skip the book altogether but the eye rolling exercises might improve your vision.
Here we go. Spoilers below... . . . . . . . . . . The first half of this was a solid 3.5 Stars, then the wheels completely fell of the bus.
1. The female agent kept trying to get the H to drop the h and choose her by planting seeds of doubt constantly.
2. The h constantly lamented everything. 15 seconds spent on a topic, 45 seconds to two minutes agonizing over it!
3. When the h stops the bad guy, she wants him to live so he can get help, even though he has told her to forget she has a son, ignore the fact that he raped her, was about to rape her again, had her parents killed, was running drugs and had a girl killed to protect his secret rape.
4. The h wants to keep the person who held her son for the kidnapper out of jail, even though she knew that the kid was kidnapped.
5. The bad guy realizes how bad he was thanks to therapy in prison and she is good and happy with his progress!
Yikes!

I DNF'd this bitch at 80%... Seriously. I just couldn't take anymore garbage that was fucking my head up. After all the truth comes out and other insane details unravel, as sick and twisted as it all is, I just couldn't deal with Mia's unhealthy love for her psycho brother.
What if that was you? Could you forgive and forget?! There are some things that there is no coming back from and some people just need to be put down instead of saving. When she stopped Grant from ending her brother that was the end for me.
All in all, the story as a whole was good. Well written. But Mia was a huge problem for me. There is no way that bitch is sane. She's cracked. No court would ever appoint custody to someone that's has drastically altered her appearance to deceive, snorts coke to "take the edge" off, acts like a whore (I don't care what the reason is), lets her brother feel her up and makeout for her own agenda and then proceed to shoot him but wants to get him help. No fucking way!
I just don't understand how readers don't see how mental she is. She ruined the whole story.

This series was a roller coaster of emotions Se7en deadly Seals gave us a love story heartache and suspense and mystery all in one.
All the answers Mia is seeking about her brother are answered she also finds dark secrets that she never thought possible. Grant shows just how much he I willing to protect what is his no matter the cost that true love never fails.
Joaquin shows Mia his true sick side and fear overwhelms her when she hear him admit to the cold hard truth that Grant has reviled to her.
This book and an awesome ending as the word in Mia’s wedding band worth fighting for Grant holds true to those words. I think that this was well written and that the author keeps you as a reader into this series.
Okay, I made it through this series. I am not fond of serials because to me, it's ripping readers off. This should have been one awesome book. Instead, the reader has to pay through the nose to get the full story! Fortunately for me, I found these books through the Romance Package on Audible. Overall, I like the author's writing style, just not her principles.
As far as the story, it just became too insane. I did not like this harsh view of Navy SEALs. This does the brave men who give their all for our great nation a bad image. Although, this series has a compelling story, the rest just did not sit well with me. Happy reading/listening!
In the final book of Se7en Deadly SEALs Grant and Mia finally get their son back, although it takes Grant admitting to murder, Mia taking a chance to travel with her brother to get Grant and her son back after he kidnaps her and tries to kill her. Mia is challenged to use all of her acting ability with her brother so he will take her to her son.
I loved the happy ending. I loved the compassion Mia showed her brother. I loved how Grant was such a devoted father and husband after all Mia had been through to find happiness.
I purchased Covet as part of the Se7en Deadly SEALs series anthology.
I actually think this is a 4.5*, as I really enjoyed the HEA but I've thought of that as its that's only because I really wanted to hear more after the fantastic but emotional story of what happened between, not just Mia & Grant, but Joaquin & Mia. Then when you think about it, we never saw all 7 of the Seal Unit, during the series, except Mitch & Paul & 'Autumn' NCIS Ashley, (who was the one after Joaquin) and this is where the epilogue ended & not between Mia & Grant. But it ends where I presume a new series of who done it begins.....
A solid ending that wasn’t really an end? Now that the story is over and we know who killed a Tiffany I can say I do like snow. She is strong and her drive to get all the answers is quite honorable. Grant and her are adorable with Julian. I like that the book addressed the other wives and how she had been treated. This whole series moved quick but the ending was non stop action and emotion. I am interested to see who or mom is and what that picture meant! These SEALs in this literary world have some crazy secrets🙈
I read this series and could not put it down until the end. I loved the characters, plot .... filled with suspense, intrigue, mystery, sex and OMG the last book. It will take you no time to get to book seven. Hang on to your wigs girls, you are in for one of the best series I've had the pleasure of reading in quite a while. My hat off to Alana Albertson ! I found another favorite author. Thank you for sharing your gift of writing with your fans !
The epic finale I was hoping for, and yet not the way I was expecting to get it. Grant and Mia have been fighting so hard to get their happily-ever-after. And for every step closer they got to it, something happened to push them two steps farther away. We finally know all the answers and get to see the picture on the puzzle. It is gritty, and emotional, and a testament to the human spirit. I received a complimentary copy of this book.
A fantastic ending to Mia & Grants story! Finally secrets revealed, questions answered and finding what was taken from them. The complicated relationship between Grant, Mia and Joaquin was well depicted. I love the intricate plots, twist and turns. After all Grant & Mia endured they finally got their HEA. I look forward to the continuation of this series.
A bit guttered about this book. The books prior to this part were great, working up towards this final part and then we get to this book and it's.................................
Really wanted more out of this book because I felt this series deserved it. Even the epilogue...had nothing to do with them. Would have loved to see Mia and Grant with their son but..alas it was not to be.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Finally Grant and Mia got their HEA! I loved this serial and it was so much better because I got to read them all at once. I did not like the fact that Mia not only forgave Joaquin but also wanted to see him again. That's just pure craziness! I can understand forgiveness....one day but I cannot understand wanting to see him again.
This was a well plotted mini series that kept me hooked to the very end. There was so many secrets, deceit, action, love and forgiveness. I couldn't believe the turn of events but now Mia and Grant can live the life they always wanted. Life can change people even those we trust the most. May forgiveness and hope make life less complicated.
Okay so it might be a "happy for now." I just saw the series continues with Ashley's story, but for now Mia and Grant are happy with their son. There are characters I would like to see more of and characters that I hope will get what is coming to them. Diving in for book 8
Ride’s over. But it’s bumpy getting off. Man, this season had me HOOKED. The answer was right in front of their eyes and their own flaws kept them from seeing it.
I enjoyed this through and through, but I’d be lying if I said Joaquin’s fate and realization didn’t piss me smooth tf off.
Thank you for a good story Alana, but that's it. You chose to separate a story into 7 parts? For what? The money? Less than an Hour read in each book! Shame on you for taking that road. Yes the story is good, but I will not read another book by u again!!
The final book and I still think this whole serial could have easily been one book. Anyway, we finally get closure but I can’t get over how Mia could forgive Joaquin after what he did to her and her son. What he did was unforgivable!
I really enjoyed this ending chapter in this series. My only criticism of the entire tale is that is was published in so many separate novellas. It should be published as one novel.
Final conclusion, and it’s so suspenseful. And I never saw the twisted truth behind the conflict of the story. Lots of betrayal, lies, and secrets. It is crazy. This story has just been intriguing but so unnecessarily drawn out. But in all, a great finale.
While I’m sad Mia and Grant’s story is finished, the next is about Mitch which should be interesting! Such a dirty talker! This series was filled with so many surprises but through it all the author gave us a love story with an HEA to satisfy us.
ARC review For honest review. Wow now that Twists this is the second book of seven deadly seals and Maya( Kinsey) to find out a lot of things. awesome 10 stars
