Do-hee Woo and Hae-Gyung Kim are both young and single, each with a history of broken relationships in their past. They meet one day while trying to dine alone at the same restaurant and they soon become friends who eat together every week. But with each meal, their friendship grows deeper as they help each other heal from the heartbreak they have suffered and soon they must redefine what they mean to each other.

It's a very heart warming romantic comedy about two people who need to get over their painful first loves. Through creating memories and having fun, they learn to develop as individuals. It's such a heartwarming webcomic. Highly suggested.

I found this randomly and ahhh this was so relatable, made me feel single and hungry in all ways. I think we take the people whom we really connect with for granted because in these times it's not everyday that you'll find someone whom you could really talk with. Life in general is mundane but having the right company is what makes it colorful. Gave me Before Sunrise vibes. Loved the food illustrations and the short, simple and sweet dialogues. 10/10 will recommend if you're looking for light hearted romance webtoon.

Eating alone at a restaurant is always seen as "pathetic", especially in Asia I feel like. And I am one of those pathetic people. I love that this comic shows how its okay to eat, watch a movie, or doing things by ourselves, to be happy with ourselves so that we can be happy when we are with someone else. It's interesting to see how foods can held such a specific memories from your past. That in some way shape up the person you are now.


In conclusion, this comic makes me hungry.

This is one of those "I loved it except for the ending, which I hated" stories. Specifically That Incident in the second to last (third to last) chapter with the phone call. The way the author wrote the main female character was so awesome until that point after which -- not only That Incident but how it played out, was rage inducing enough that I don't think I can read this again, because I'll always remember that thing happened and THAT was how the ending happened and be filled with anger. I freely admit at least half of the anger due to how good the rest of it is.

Lovely story all around, the plot was nice and it was just nice to read. Id recommend this if you just need to read something romantic but down to earth. The plot of it is relatable and the male main character has to be one of the most Loveable character you'll ever see. All in all it was an enjoyable read.

I liked how the story progressed. It doesn’t feel rushed and the characters don’t seem superficial. Although I couldn’t completely relate to the circumstances that they were both in, I was somehow able to follow through them and understood a bit of why things ended up that way. I somehow witnessed the everyday goings-on in peoples lives by having read this. I think it would be a good read for those trying to ask themselves the question “Where could I have gone wrong?” Or similar to it with regards to their relationships with others, may it be romantic or not. It doesn’t give you the answers or anything but I guess it kind of offers another perspective. The art is pretty good too.

It’s a 4 out of 5 just because I wanted to have a sweeter ending since I’m a sucker for fluff these days.
P.s. If you’re bored and have nothing else to read, this is worth your time. ^_^

I really enjoyed this manhwa. I appreciated a relationship that stemmed from food. I appreciated how they discussed their issues and worked on them. I loved their dynamic and how they were not typical angsty characters you often see in manhwa. They were real people. It was a really wholesome comic with a sweet ending!

Sweet, on point, and a feel-good manhwa. What's not to love?

Follows on an adventure of a couple and the ups and downs they face before their get-together.

I love the leads, really. I love how they came up together to spare each others from embarrassment for eating out alone. The whole plots are amazing and weren’t rushed. While this could potentially be seen as slow in progress but to me it feels real, as if not everything is a fairytale and sometimes in order to achieve the happy ending, you have to build up trust, chip in patience and understand each other entirely.

The female lead is very cute, she was used at first but I like how she reflected on her past and came to aware that she shouldn’t let people that take advantage of her be in her life. I understand the trust issue and fears that come with falling for someone and I admire how she was brave enough to take a pause and ponders more carefully on their next move instead of rushing into the relationship.

The male lead is very admirable too. He’s patient and doesn’t lose hope in love albeit the bad history he shared with it. Throughout the story, we could see his past relationships and what went wrong. Through that we could also see his good qualities and everything that makes him, well, him. Perfect, cute and handsome hunk. He’s never ended things on bad terms with his exes and when he willingly waited for the female lead, well, that scarred me.

My opinion on this story is that, at some point, it is seen as a bit too slow. The progress is a bit too draggy and the lack of communication between them is the biggest hindrance. This of course, is part of the story but my point is, if you think you dont have the patience to see a romance build up slowly and realistically (like one of my friends that I recommended this manhwa to) then it’s not really for you.

I really liked how this manhwa was pretty laid back in relation to two people who have gone through a few breakups in their lives until they finally found themselves as "the ones". Mostly you see over the top love triangles, crazy jealous ex bf/gf's dying for w/o the MC to fall into their trap, families in top of each individual to get married in romance manhwas. However this really was a nice icing on the cake to flatten those down as if to say "let's be realistic and calm ourselves here".

As in, both MC's had the balls to accept the fact they have to move on from their past relationships and get on with their lives just as much as anyone else for real!

I do wish I have giving this the whole 5 stars but I was kinda disappointed with the ending that it wasn't "sweet enough" as the reviewers have said on here. Yeah I'll let you be the judge on what I meant there.......

Anyways bois, just read this manhwa if you're into sweet straightforward realistic shit. It's such a pretty decent read if you know what I mean!

This is such a comfortable read. I loved both MCs and I was able to understand their struggles, but I could relate to Hae-kyung on a deeper level. I can't imagine how hard it must've been for him because of the things he went through. The feeling of potentially being boring or someone who is seen as better off not being around because of how plain and dull they are, it really leads to causing a person to develop a feeling of invalidation. But he's such a gem, pretty sure there are extremely few, rare men like him.
I also admire how the author connected memories to food. That's something I noticed in my life and to read this mahnwa which has that theme, it was an amazing experience.
All in all, read this if you want to relax and enjoy a good read (and fan-girl over this amazing guy and strong, beautiful girl) but make sure to have dinner first otherwise, you would be third-wheeling with a craving for everything in this.

This is a nice read. I love the idea of the webtoon - two adults meeting for dinner and talking about their past relationships. Even though I am married now, I would be happy to sit down with my close friends and talk about the people we have met over a cup of (bubble tea) or a nice dinner. I also love that this webtoon shows that it is okay to eat alone and be happy with ourselves so that we can love others.

However, the ending was quite disappointing. It is unlike of the female lead to act that way in the penultimate chapter. Still, I would recommend this webtoon.

This now was going so sweetly and I enjoyed reading it whenever I wanted to relax. It is a perfect slice of life manhwa with not much drama except until the end. The end, however, does kind of ruins it for me. wanted them to go on for longer and would have liked to see them change and grow together. The female lead was acting kind of stupid by the end so I wasn't really satisfied.
But this is still a good read.

This webtoon was much more mature in plot than I initially thought. It tells the story of a woman who just exited an eight-year relationship and a guy who had never had a relationship lasting longer than a year. It's a slow-paced story that unveils their past relationships through food: a concept I found unique and refreshing. I wish it was a little longer, though.

I honestly could not finish this because to me, it was mostly boring. they have their cute moments, and you can slowly see them progress their relationship. though, when people tell you that this is a slow burn, this is a very slow burn. this is “have to be patient because sometimes progress will not be made for a couple chapters” slow burn. I can see how people can enjoy it, seeing the two characters move on from their past relationship(s), seeing the definition of a healthy platonic male and female relationship, and seeing the characters slowly become something more. I did enjoy it, but I just didn’t enjoy how slow I felt the plot move
