However after 1977, which saw the demise of rene goscinny, it was authored solely by albert uderzo. Together, goscinny and uderzo wrote 34 albums of the asterix series and the complete asterix box set includes all of them in one set. The asterix series is about the adventures of the wiry and wily asterix and his friend, the strong yet slow, obelix. Both are portrayed as warriors under the rule of the great caesar; who mostly clashes against the romans. The story revolves around how time and again, asterix and obelix outwit the roman soldiers with might and intelligence. These clashes are portrayed with indelible humour that makes you laugh out loud at all of their adventures. The two of them go on to have amazing and fun-filled adventures in their homeland. The complete set of the hilarious adventures of asterix and obelix was published in 2011 and is available in paperback. Funny, Captivating and versatile. Each character have unique attributes that is portrayed beautifully.
