Both are portrayed as warriors under the rule of the great caesar; who mostly clashes against the romans. The story revolves around how time and again, asterix and obelix outwit the roman soldiers with might and intelligence. These clashes are portrayed with indelible humour that makes you laugh out loud at all of their adventures. The two of them go on to have amazing and fun-filled adventures in their homeland. The complete set of the hilarious adventures of asterix and obelix was published in 2011 and is available in paperback. René Goscinny (1926 - 1977) was a French author, editor and humorist, who is best known for the comic book Asterix , which he created with illustrator Albert Uderzo, and for his work on the comic series Lucky Luke with Morris (considered the series' golden age).
