-Es solo una historia.

Antología con base en los mundos de VERIGO COMICS ( te extrañamos !!!) ubicada en la navidad, en el invierno.

LO BUENO: Dibujos de Michael Zulli, Michael Lark, McMannus, Eduardo Risso,Robertson...y una historia en el universo de THE DREAMING, que era una de la que no esperaba nada, pero da MUCHISIMO, muy disfrutable.

LO MALO: Promete mucho mas de lo que da....ninguna historia tiene la fuerza para que la recuerdes, y no Gaiman ni Azarello sacan algo memorable con las páginas que tienen.

Christmas tales of the Endless, the Dreaming, 100 Bullets, Book of Magic, Transmetropolitan, Swamp Thing, Dead Enders and more. All by the original creators like Neil Gaiman, Brian Azzarello and Warren Ellis. Good stuff.

A little better than the second one but so many one shots of stuff I wasn't interested in.

The Swamp Thing story was alright. So was the John Constantine one.
I enjoyed the art of the Desire one.

There is no framing device for these stories, which are presented as separate short stories unlike in Vertigo: Winter's Edge and Vertigo: Winter's Edge #2.

How They Met Themselves - Neil Gaiman - 3* - An interesting tale of desire, full of want, and poetry. The art is fitting for the story also.

Silencer Night - Brian Azzarello - 4* - Christmas at a Police Station and a woman confesses to a murder that there is not on police files. Good story but I am not really sure what to make of the last panel. Was so curious I actually googled it and now I understand. I am so intrigued by the premise I am putting the entire 100 bullets series on my Want To Read list.

Waiting for Good Dough - Peter Gross - 4* - When dead Detectives visit the Inn Between Worlds in their quest to track down the greatest Mage in all the world. One of them is likely to be lynched by the MeToo folks for being his acts of sexual harassment.

Another Bloody Christmas - Dave Gibbons - 5* - The best story yet is about John Constantine investigating an occult mystery. It's more of a novel with a few graphic panels than a comic though.

Borealis - Caitlin S. Kiernan - 5* - Nice story about the Second Black Raven that lived in The Dreaming, written in a very Gaiman-like style.

Next Winters - Warren Ellis - 1* - The ramblings of a hater do not make for great reading. Still disappointed. IDK what kind of people enjoy reading stuff like this *scratches head*

Minor Characters - Jamie Delano - 2* - A writer is viewed differently by different minor characters, for different reasons.

The Morning After - Ed Brubaker - 2* - Family drama at Christmas!

Sow and Ye Shall Reap - Brian K. Vaughn - 3* - Someone crashes a domestic disturbance and gives the crazy man some mistletoe. Ends on a cliffhanger.

Promete un poquitín más de lo que cumple; sólo por eso y porque algunas de las historias recopiladas no son la gran cosa es que le faltó una estrellita. Evidentemente este me gustó más que sus dos hermanos, pero igual voy a poner algún cachito de la otra review que creo que se aplica a este también:

"Para muestras vbasta un botón" dicen, pero creo que no es el caso. La mayoría de los guionistas reunidos en esta antología son geniales. Lo mismo los dibujantes. Lo mismo los personajes. ¿Qué es lo que falla entonces? El formato. Muy pocos de los autores aquí reunidos se sienten cómodos con las historias cortitas, de seis a ocho páginas, y eso resiente el relato. Los personajes mismos parecen pedir a gritos que les den más espacio para sus barbaridades. Como los tres libros me transmitieron más o menos lo mismo seguro copipastee esta review en los tres. De más está decir que cuando los relea seguro se gane una rerreseña personalizada cada uno.

El cierre de la antología navideña Vertigo combina a los - entonces - títulos regulares de la casa con nuevos lanzamientos, en un volumen menos esmerado en su sentido integral pero siempre interesante de leer.
