Aurora Macias was a vampire with a problem. She could see, hear, and talk to ghosts. That made her life hell, because they bothered her at all hours. That was how she met Jake Daniels. He was a ghost that arrived in her bedroom in the early morning hours just as she was ready to fall asleep. The only problem was he didn't believe he was a ghost. This book has all the potential of being a fun short story. I felt it could have used a bit more detail. Overall, it's an interesting story.

For a short story this was pretty good! For the most part I enjoyed it and found myself rooting for Jake and Aurora. I would have liked to see a bit more of a fight at the end from Thurston. I felt like he didn't really live up to his character. Overall a good read and I would read more by this author. I would definitely like to see more of Jake and Aurora.
