I really enjoyed this book. It was sad and happy but the only downside for me is that I wish it was a part 2. I know all stories can't continue on but its just a thought

Pepper desperately wants to leave the crime infested neighborhood, but her mother has lost her third source of income, so the wait has been extended. She can't understand how her neighbor Ice and those like him, don't have to worry about money.

Omg this story was something serious. I really enjoyed this book . I loved the way all the twist and turns came about in this book. Pepper did all she could to have a better life for her and her mom. I personally think she should have stayed out of the business with Ice but all well that end wells. T. Styles you have done it again you a beast with the pen.

Fast paced read that had me on edge at times. Characters actions & storyline kept me reading & wondering as I completed in 1 sitting. Great story!

Cool, quick read
This was a pretty cool, quick read. I really liked Ice before I found out his deep, dark secret. The twist was shocking. Didn’t see it coming. Great read! Now to see what Farrah has been up to.

The errors are the only reason this is a 4 star and not a 5 star read. I absolutely loved this storyline though! I hated Ice with a passion and wished he would have gotten it way worse! Dip is an evil ass too and I would have liked to see her get hers as well. The suffering Zy went through broke my heart but I was glad to see some good come her way. Khoury would be my favorite character because everyone counted him out yet he proved to be the smart and most desirable one. Pepper gave me mixed emotions because I loved her strong will yet her youth proved to be her downfall. Deadman was the surprise character here and I loved the way he was woven so intricately into the story. This is definitely a great read and I highly recommend it!!!

Wowwwwwwwwww! I haven't read a book in 1 day in a very long time!!!!! Miss T. Styles, you did this one!!!!! Pepper had a goal and she wasn't going to let up with out reaching it. She, to everyone else was week and soft, but She showed her strength when she ran out there to get that DVD. I couldn't stand JD' s ass, that's what happen when greed hit you. Zykia got on my nerves, but the love she had for her brother was one who didn't care if he mistreated her. I was proud of Pepper for finally gaining the strength to stick to her plan to Bring Ice down. I kind of figured "Deadman" wasn't just there for play, had a feeling about him the whole time.... Thank you Miss T.

Good short read
This was a really good and short read. I'm pleased with the outcome of Ice's fate but I wish Dip would've been included. JD was very hateful to his sister and to Pepper, so I'm glad karma got him too. I was shocked at who Deadman truly was and glad he found closure. I liked Khoury and was glad he left when he did!!

I'm not going to lie and say this book wasn't disturbing, but it's T Styles her imagination is on another level! I read this in a few hours I could t put it down! It kept my heart racing.

Well damn!
The drama factor in this story was kicked all the way up to an 11! Ice was a character you had no choice but to hate with a passion. A neighborhood terrorist, drug dealer and all around heathen, he's the type of dude mothers warn their daughters to stay the hell away from! Pepper was my favorite character. She was simply a young girl trying to change her circumstances and lessen the load on her mom's shoulders together them out the hood. I really enjoyed this story!

Nice quick read from T. Styles. Twist and turns from the very 1st page. Ice was definitely cold blooded. Just when you think you know how the story is going to end, T. Styles hits you with a shocker.

I loved how the story was straight to the point . I did think that pepper should have minded her business I was scared for her . The whole deadman setup was genius . Ice got exactly what he deserved
