Hunter
Given a choice, I’d date a woman who doesn’t know who I am. Like the green-eyed woman I meet on sidewalk, tears streaming down her cheeks. The one who triggers what my overprotective older brothers call my “Everhart Complex”—the uncontrollable urge to erase someone else’s pain.

This little character flaw could shred me if I let it. That’s why I don’t do family law. But it’s who I am. Who I became after my parents died.

Willow
Nothing says “successful adult” like living with my grandfather and having my little sister as my boss. But with my acting career stalled and my checking account in single digits, playing receptionist at Beesley Enterprises is a bearable humiliation.

Until he walks into the office. The man I met on the sidewalk on the worst night of my career. Mr. I’m-Going-To-Fix-Your-Life—as if I’d let him. Because just for a moment, I felt safe. I felt something besides numbness. And dammit, if I let my ice queen façade crack, I’ll be worse than back to square one. I could fall off the edge entirely…

Breathtaking, powerful, and gut-wrenching are just a few of the words to describe this book. The emotion pours out of the main characters, Willow and Hunter, from the very first page till the last. Both fighting demons from their past and present while worrying about a future that hasn't happened yet. Their connection is instant and their bond strong, but their individual battles keep what is forming between them fragile and disconnected. They are there for each other and depend on each other, but realize it isn't enough as they will only hold the other back. Get your tissues ready because their story is heartbreaking and agonizing at times. The events, emotions, and issues they battle take residence like you are living their pain and grief with them. Their families play a big role in their story and how they got to be where they are today. There is nothing but love and support from those who love them, but also turmoil. The topics in this book are very real life things that many people suffer from and go through. The way Claudia wrote this story she made sure those topics were handled with respect and accuracy. Her words connected me to Willow and Hunter and despite all they went through I loved them! My heart hurt for them, but also was bursting with happiness when they had found the light they worked so hard to get!

✯✯✯ 4 “Who says who’s normal” Stars!! ✯✯✯

All of You, All of Me was the first book I’ve EVER read from Claudia Y. Burgoa and I’m wondering what took me so long. While her writing was a bit different than what I’m accustomed to, it was no less powerful or eloquent in its delivery. And as this story tackles mental health issues, it was handled with the right amount of care.

Hunter has dealt with agoraphobia, profound grief, and asocial tendencies. For the most part, he’s got a handle on his issues. He’s been through therapy and has put himself through law school, which makes it evident that he’s found a way to conquer his fear of the outside. Have all of his fears been laid to rest? No. However, he’s still a work in progress and tries not to make excuses for it. Willow has battled severe personality disorders and has been misdiagnosed in the past. Her issues have stunted her own personal growth and have laid waste to her interpersonal relationships. The only people she can count on and trust are her little sister and herself. And then a chance encounter with Hunter has her believing that a connection can exist outside her self-imposed bubble. And this connection has Hunter believing that he’s found someone to share his forever with. Can two broken people create a whole? Well, that’s what this story is all about. How two people who have their own issues can be there to help the other shoulder theirs.

What Hunter and Willow shared was so beautiful and I don’t think it’s limited to those who realize their own frailties. I think everyone has got a chink in their armor and we would all be so lucky to find someone who not only accepts our faults but loves us despite and because of them. It was easy to recognize Hunter’s love for Willow in the face of all of the ugliness she holds inside and never once did these flaws force him to let go. He loved her stronger, harder and everlasting and I couldn’t help but respect the heck out of his character. If this is the type of work to expect from Burgoa, count me in!!

All of You All of Me was at times a tough and an emotional story to get through because of its topics. I know mental illness from my line of work and how it affects people in a profound way. In this case it's permanent but with the right treatment you can have a great life. Willow and Hunter are both suffering especially Willow to a more serious degree.

Experiencing Willow and Hunter while they tried to navigate through a new relationship while coping with their illness was difficult but also beautiful. It was portrayed with an honesty and rawness that my heart broke a couple of times, because I felt so powerless watching them trying to make their relationship work when they both knew it was doomed. Their connection was instantly and chemistry undeniable.
Hunter is a monogamous person who loves being in a relationship. He made me swoon and filled my heart with love because of his patience and dedication to Willow. Everything he did was with her in his thoughts.
My heart broke for Willow numerous times. She was so afflicted by her illness that it ruled her life. The only light in the darkness was her sister Hazel and Hunter.

Both Willow and Hunter goes through a serious change. A positive and strong transformation and I loved how that was depicted. They gave each other room and space to figure themselves and their life out but never lost faith or contact with one another.
This also a story about family and Hunter's three older brothers were fabulous. Damn how I love these Everhart men. Harrison, Scott and Fitzhenry were loyal and always there for Hunter and also became a constant for Willow and her sister Hazel.

I'm so excited and happy that there's going to be more of the Everhart men cause they sure got me addicted. What an incredible and emotional story.

DNF at 23% for now, maybe later.

Definitely it's me case 😒

I expected quite different hero after reading the blurb. I thought he would be a silent closed guy, who didn't date for years and so on. But nope, he was a serial monogamist, key word serial. There was even a scene with his ex-gf begging him to take her back (via messages). He wasn't shy, he had detailed sexy thoughts about the h e.g. her pleasuring him oral. They told me repeatedly he wasn't a manho, but he was  very experienced. He dated and didn't have ONSs, but it didn't lower the quantity of broken hearts he left behind - at least I got it this way.

The heroine was a complex character, I couldn't connect with her. She whined, she pushed him away, she didn't date for the last 2 years. I couldn't knack her. I guess if I had patience and read further, they would explain it to me.

It's really childish, I know 😭, but I can't go over my personal disappointment about hero's character. Did I misunderstand the blurb? 😞

Plus all the side characters... do I need to read previous books by this author?

Just my random thoughts. Don't let it stop you from trying this book.

This story wasn’t a light read at all!!! It was tough and raw.
Hunter and Willow were dealing with mental issues, like agoraphobia and personality disorder, while they wanted their relationship to work.
It was very well written and developed with depth and intensity.
The characters were brilliant, felt real and vivid. However, I couldn’t handle it and found really hard to continue reading...
I believe I would have given this story 5 stars if I was able to reach the last page.

Both characters have mental illnesses. The hero has severe anxiety and agoraphobia whereas the heroine has Borderline Personality Disorder.

Both of them have serious problems so their relationship would most probably be a very hard one, they don't sound like a good match to me.

Favorite Quotes:

I don’t trust businessmen, lawyers, or gynecologists… My ex wanted to become a lady’s doctor… I caught him exploring my best friend’s vagina. He called it practice.

Willow, no one is normal… I, myself have several quirks. Since we both live in the land of oddities, I propose we give this a chance.

Life is a sequence of breaths.

…us is a noun that I hope we use often and forever.

My Review:

Ms. Burgoa has turned out an exceptionally well-crafted and researched manuscript with indelible and catastrophically flawed yet alluring characters. Her well-honed word craft was razor-sharp in this compelling and heart-squeezing tale. The writing was emotive and devastating with a taut and angsty storyline. The character of Willow was mentally ill and untreated, unstable, and an emotional roller coaster that kept me on edge; her rants often had me cringing and holding my breath. Willow was prone to intense and irrational mood swings from elation to bone deep hatred or hopeless despair within a breath. She felt every emotion to a painful extreme and was a total washout with verbal expression for honest communication, although she had some awareness of her behavior and employed her acting skills to maintain a façade. Willow exploded and imploded with regularity, which was exhausting for her, everyone in her life, and for me as a reader as her inner musings and blowouts seemed to hold me in a state of apprehension due to Ms. Burgoa’s exceptional narrative and word voodoo. I adored the characters of Hunter and his quirky brothers. However, Hunter was also an anxious mess with a tender, sweet, and romantic soul and the heart of a poet. I felt conflicted, as I feared Willow was not a healthy choice for him. The sweet things he said would have sounded cheesy from most men, but coming from him they were lovely and swoon-worthy. Sigh; to balance my chi, I definitely need to read an amusing comedy next.

I must admit this story quite surprised me- it’s emotional, heartfelt, authentic, and sincere. A great introduction to the depth of the story telling of Claudia Burgoa.

Both our hero and heroine have their own demons- characters who have been through some real challenges and have been altered by them. NOt only do they have to work through their own stuff, but they also have to figure out their connection with each other. And they are the perfect match. Hunter is such a compelling character- a man whose world has been shattered, a man who has been changed, a pain helped by the love of his brothers. And Willow- sweet Willow. A heroine battled her own mental health issues, hiding behind her pain- issues told with dignity and honesty. And that’s what I loved about this story- two characters with personal issues and individual barriers find hope and safety and compassion in one another. It’s not an easy path for either- but they find a way to be together that is healthy for them, that helps them cope, because they deserve love and partnership.

Embracing love is the hardest when it’s a struggle to love and care for yourself- but leaning into it can help you heal, help you heal. And this story is a beautiful reminder of our universal worthiness for love- and the power of loving.

*audiobook

This was so dull! My god!

Also, the author decided to ruin the book for me before the 10% mark by writing something along these lines: "He's very hot in that Chris Pratt kind of way..."

Excuse me, ma'am?

What?

In what world did we collectively decide that Chris Pratt was attractive?

Um, how about we just describe the mmc instead of "insert ugly male celebrity here."

Because I have never and will never find Chris Pratt attractive, and that made me a little mad.

And this was so easy to avoid! Such a juvenile writing mishap!

Other than that and the book being so dull it hurt, I HATED the fmc.

And the mmc as well, to be completely honest.

Like, I get it, you have some sort of mental illness, that's not why I hate you...

I hate you because all you do is complain! And it hurt to read.

She was so pathetic.

Also, these two "fell" in love in 0.2 seconds.

I blinked, and they were talking about forever...

Um, okay...

The mmc behavior was so confusing and unromantic... not only did it feel like he could have fallen for anyone in his vicinity, he calls himself a "serial monogamist," whatever the fuck that means,

but also during the so-called climax of this book, the fmc tries to kill herself, and his next action is to leave her/break up with her?

What kind of romantic hero is this?

Also, the whole 9/11 thing was so awkward... what was I supposed to do with that info...?

It added nothing to the story.

I had no emotional investment in these two from the beginning, and it continued like that throughout the audiobook.

Also, everything started so abruptly—their meetings, their dates, dating, house hunting. Abrupt in a very unpleasant way.

Jesus, slow down and smell the flowers, please!

Life is already passing us by so fast!

Anyway, this was a 1-star disaster, not to mention the atrocious writing, and some of the worst sex scenes I've ever read.

Do you ever read a story and have it touch you so deeply? Fall For Me is that story for me. This story hit me so hard. It was emotional, heartbreaking, but also exceptionally beautiful.

My heart was completely shattered for Hunter. He experienced tragedy in the blink of an eye and it completely shattered his entire world. It profoundly changed everything for him. I love that he had his brothers with him and I loved the relationship they have and the unbreakable bond they have with each other. Willow, I loved her and my heart broke for her. She has gone through so much. She is going through so much and you just want to reach out and help her and be there for her.

These two characters are both going through so much and trying to navigating through life, but also a relationship with each other. There were so many highs and lows, but they are truly perfect for each other. There is a bond and connection between Hunter and Willow that is raw and beautiful.

I love that this story transcends a traditional romance. It shows how mental illness can impact someone’s life and the life of those close to them. No one in this story is perfect, everyone is going through something and that is what makes this story feel so real.

If you’re looking for an emotional story that is so much more than just a romance this is one to read.

All of You All of Me by Claudia Y. Burgoa is a standalone contemporary romance novel yet it is so powerful and raw, gripping and emotional. It definitely has some sensitive subjects that are touched on in this book. This is Willow and Hunter’s story and what a story it is.
Willow is snarky yet sweet, bubbly, can be at times a drama queen and she has her own brand of mental illness (Borderline Personality Disorder ) yet that doesn’t make her someone loveable.
Hunter is a monogamous person who loves being in a relationship. He suffers e after the death of his parents from the 9/11. Hunter is stricken with anxiety and agoraphobia. He's getting by, just barely. He's come a long way, but he hasn't found what he's looking for. He knows he has issues.
It was love at first sight for Hunter when he saw Willow and he wasn't giving up until she gave him a chance. Willow gave in to Hunter but she still had these voices in her head that changed her personality in the blink of an eye. Hunter tried so very hard at first to help her but he realized he needed help himself with his own demons. The heartbreak came when he decided they needed to breakup but they realized it was for the best so they could both get better and work on their issues and work on themselves.
These sweet people had a long road ahead but they will make it work… together. The story is emotional and at times so very sad but there is times you will laugh and smile because you see the strength and the love they have for one another. This is such a beautiful , heartwarming, intense and at times raw story but Hunter and Willow made it so worthwhile. I look forward to the next book in this series.

Oh my.... I wasn't ready for all the emotions in this book. This book was really emotional with some serious sensitive issues that some people deal with on a daily basis.

Hunter and Willow both had different issues that they needed to work on. He had a fear of being in crowds ever since his parents died in the towers and she had mental issues that wasn't treated. What they both had was a great support system but it was still really sad to read.

It was love at first sight for Hunter when he saw Willow and he wasn't giving up until she gave him a chance. Willow gave in to Hunter but she still had these voices in her head that will change her personality in the blink of an eye. Her sickness was heartbreaking and the things that she thought were just wow. It makes you open up your eyes and think what actually makes people trigger and how to try and pick up on these signs.

Hunter tried very hard to help her but he himself needed to deal with his demons. They separated and it was heartbreaking but it was for the best and for each of them to work on themselves. When they finally completed working on themselves and tried being there for each other, it wasn't easy but it worked.

These two beautiful souls had a long road ahead of them but they made it work. It was still so sad from beginning to end but you'll have a smile on your face because of the love so strong they have for each other.

I voluntarily accepted an reader copy of this book.

This was a hard book to read and I must admit that I had to put it down several times to regroup, pull myself together, then and only then was I able to continue. Claudia Burgoa did a wonderful job with portraying two people that have so much against them find not only themselves but someone that loves them regardless of their flaws. Hunter and Willow's story gutted me and I don't say that lightly, this book had me sobbing, not just crying but sobbing, it was that gut wrenching.

All of You All of Me by Claudia Y. Burgoa is a standlone contemporary romance novel. This book deals with sensitive subjects.
Meet Willow and Hunter.
Both have issues. Hunter´s life changed through a tragedy. Now he lives by certain rules. Now,
Don’t let anyone know what goes on inside your head. Stay away from crowds. Never fall in love.
He never changes his rules. His phobias keep him isolated.
And there is Willow, bubbly, quirky, sometimes high maintenace- drama queen Willow. She has her own issues.
Both meet and there is this crazy insta-chemistry. The build a beautiful relationship, but their love can not cure their illnesses and make them disappear.
They separate and try to learn how to live their lives. They have to find a way to live with themselves.
All Of You All Of Me gutted me. I suffered with the characters. I could feel their emotions in the words, every single one. And let me tell you, sometimes this was not easy. I had to put the book down and take a breather.
But I love the great writing, the beautiful words and the captivating characters.
Favorite Quote: " He isn´t just love, he´s everything I love and hate to feel. "
I recommend this book and give 5 stars. Thank you so much Claudia Burgoa.

There’s nothing easy about this story. It’s raw and filled with plenty of hard emotions. If you’re looking for a light, fluffy romance, this won’t be it. If you want a break from all the fluff, this will take your emotions on a journey.

“Some of us have wounds and scars so deep, old, and exposed they never fully close. Their souls bleed, leaving devastation along their paths.”

<><> Story Overview <><>
Hunter runs into Willow on a street in New York City. He notices she’s crying and gives her a ride home. A little bit later, he runs into her again at her work. They agree to go on a date and things evolve from there.

Both are dealing with some emotional trauma, so their relationship has some difficult nuances because neither one is completely stable. When Willow hits bottom, Hunter realizes they might not be good for each other. They take a break to work on themselves and eventually try to find their way back to each other for the long lasting relationship they both ultimately want/need.

^^ ~ “I believe the night we met was whimsical. A serendipitous moment when we let go of a piece of ourselves and gave it to each other. You’re that piece of me that I didn’t know I was missing.”

^^ ~ “I’m sorry that I have to leave you. I wish you the best, and also, I wish that when I come back, we are ready for what I feel in my heart can be the most epic love. Be well and be ready. I can’t wait to love you.”

^^ ~ “More than a year ago, Hunter terminated our relationship because he wanted me to find a man who could be strong enough to handle a passionate person like me. He left to work on himself to become that man. That’s how much he loves me. He slayed his own demons because if he can let go of the past, he might be worthy of my heart. That is the love I want to experience for the rest of my life.”

<><> Characters <><>
Hero: Hunter Everhart; Age: 28; Occupation: real estate lawyer and part owner of Everhart Industries

* The following words/phrases were used to describe Hero: Was 12 when both parents died on 9/11 at the World Trade Center, suffered from agoraphobia and was unable to leave his room for years after his parents death, the youngest of four brothers, very close with his brothers, lonely, feels like there is a hollow space in his soul, terrified of losing loved ones, looking for a relationship, prefers routine

Heroine: Willow Beesley; Age: 26; Occupation: Theater actress, receptionist at the family business, Beesley Enterprises

* The following words/phrases were used to describe Heroine: parents were missionaries who often traveled, she and her sister were often left with others for days, weeks, and even months at a time, has always taken care of her younger sister, fractured mind and a tortured soul, on the verge of drowning, staying afloat is a full-time job, brain is always set on survival mode, has a gut-wrenching pain deep inside her body and her soul, her little sister is her anchor and the reason that she hasn’t actually gone through with her thoughts of suicide, she needs to find motivation to actually want to live, has a fear of not being enough

<><> A Few Thoughts <><>
^^ ~ I felt the connection between Hunter and Willow right away

^^ ~ I felt bad for Hazel and Willow when they finally saw their parents after so many years

^^ ~ it’s a bit heartbreaking when Willow and Hunter are both broken but relying on each other. You just know something bad is going to happen. Just shows the need for seeking professional help rather thank trying to white knuckle it through on your own

^^ ~ I really enjoyed the way Willow and Hunter stayed friends during their separation. I thought they built a healthier relationship during their separation. They both recognized the need to address the issues inside of themselves and it was so good to see/experience them grow and heal

^^ ~ I liked the relationship between the siblings. Hunter and his brothers. Willow and her sister Hazel. And Hazel, Willow and the brothers. All six of them were supportive and you could tell they cared about one another.

^^ ~ I found a hopeful message in this story. By taking the right steps, it is possible to heal and have healthy relationships.

<><> Quotes <><>
Willow: “All my life I’ve gotten into the right character to get noticed, be loved, or simply disappear because I don’t want anyone to know who I am. I fear they would hate the person I am.”

Willow: “Some days, I feel like it’ll be easier to disappear. To die. I might finally be in peace—forever.”

Willow: “What I would give to be loved—to be understood and get better. All the same, I wish to die; to stop existing as the useless piece of shit I am.”

Hunter - explaining what happened when he lost his parents at 12: “I lost my balance at that moment. I became unmoored. That sense of being afloat, not being able to hit the bottom or reach the top, became a constant. After that day, I couldn’t leave my room without having a massive panic attack. I spent more time under the bed than any other place in the house. Fear that my brothers would die gripped my heart.”

Hunter: “I overcame the agoraphobia after years of therapy, I still carry some issues. I hate changes, surprises, and I need to know where my brothers are—even the one who should be off the grid—at all times.”

Hunter: “I cope with social anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder. It sounds contradictory, but I keep the women I date at arm’s length and still, I can’t sleep around with anonymous women.”

“Love isn’t about changing someone, bandaging wounds, and kissing bruises all the time. Some days you have to watch as the person learns to bandage herself and mend her bruises.”

Willow: “As I learn how to dance through life, I want to do it with you by my side.”

All of You All of Me by Claudia Burgoa is an emotional tale of love and loss between two broken souls. We were first introduced to Willow & Hudson in Claudia's short story "How We Met" in the Love Happens anthology and now we follow their journey.

Both Willow & Hudson have their struggles and I was so happy that this wasn't a cookie cutter romance where they heal each other just by being together. Gut-wrenching, poetic and beautifully imperfect but leaving me wanting more of these broken characters trying to find a path. The supporting characters are just as strong and I hope we get to see more of their stories in the future. Claudia has created a beautiful non-traditional original romance that I won't soon forget. 5 Big Apple Stars for All of You All of Me by Claudia Burgoa

The first moment I read what this sorry was about I was instantly intrigued and I’m so glad that I decided to read this story because it was amazing. There were so many emotions throughout the story and deals with some sensitive issues. Both characters have a mental illness and the story really explores the impact that a mental illness can have on a person’s life.

Willow was a sweet and loveable character that had to step up at a young age to help raise her younger sister. She has a borderline personality disorder and the story really shows the way that this affects the characters life.

Hunter has suffered from anxiety since he lost his parents and he is always worried about losing more of the people that he loves. Hunter is an incredibly sweet guy who cares so much about the people he loves and I absolutely adored him.

All of you, All of me is about two characters that have been through so much in their own life and are trying to make a relationship between them work.

I absolutely loved this story and I couldn’t get enough of it. This was an emotionally beautiful story that was different form anything I have read before. The writing style was incredible done and the storyline was intriguing. This was an amazing story that I definitely recommend for everyone.

Wow!! What a wonderful and moving story. It took my breath away. Willow is a beautiful and amazing woman. She struggles every day with the problems of her past. It's so hard to move forward. Hunter is a handsome and passionate man. He struggles every day with the loss of his parents from 9/11. How do you manage to find your soulmate on a random street? What are the odds of both of them being broken? Can their "brokenness" bring them together? This is a wonderful read, but it is intense. I voluntarily reviewed this Advanced Readers Copy.

All of Me, All of You by Claudia Burgoa

Review 4.5 Stars

Can two people that suffer from Agoraphobia (extreme or irrational fear of crowded spaces or enclosed public places) or Borderline Personality Disorder (also known as emotionally unstable personality disorder, is a long-term pattern of abnormal behavior characterized by unstable relationships with other people, unstable sense of self, and unstable emotions) really be in a relationship? That’s one of the issues Claudia Burgoa tackles with All of Me, All of You.

Do you believe in love at first sight, because that is what Hunter felt for Willow even before he knew she was Hazel’s older sister. Hunter had every intention to win Willow’s heart. He is a serial monogamist, he’s all in, but Willow, she doesn’t want to invest her heart, having her parents let her and her sister down countless times. Good old Hunter, he persevered and finally won Willow over. Here’s the question … can two people with their mental issues really stay together and make it work?

I had so many emotions during my read of All of Me, All of You. There was a part, which I won’t mention because it’s kind of spoilerish, when I really lost it completely. Here are two “broken” individuals who at times are both vulnerable and insecure that you will not be certain if their love for each other is enough to keep them together. There is a “timeout” during their relationship that was needed. They needed to seek help in their own individual ways. Willow and Hunter’s reunion, take your time to savor it.

All of me, All of You was my first Claudia Burgoa novel. Ms. Burgoa has a flair to write a scene and slowly rip your heart out, but then she will put the pieces back together. She tackled the mental illnesses both Willow and Hunter suffer, effortlessly. I will say this, I wasn’t sure if both Willow and Hunter should be together. I now shocking, right? Not because I didn’t believe in them, I felt they needed to evolve from their own “demons” if you will, but how Ms. Burgoa handled their separation was truly amazing. Most of all, I loved how Willow’s sister Hazel and Hunters brothers (Harrison, Spencer and Fitz) were all so close.

All of Me, All of You was a very emotional yet powerful read and everyone should give it a chance.

OH BOY! Not going to lie, this was really hard to read. I love authors that challenge me to go out of my comfort zone and think outside my neat little box and boy Claudia does not disappoint.

I'm not familiar at all with mental illness, I'm almost ashamed to say but I have never been exposed so it is all relatively new to me. I despise reading books that depict weak woman as the protagonist and that is partially why this book was difficult to read. In my mind, Willow was weak because of her behavior when in fact she was dealing with a very real mental illness, Borderline Personality Disorder and Hunter is stricken with anxiety and agoraphobia. I loved the forward, it is a great introduction to the book and helped me understand and open my mind to what was to come.

I didn't cry but I got very close. The struggles that Willow goes through in her mind not understanding her illness was so difficult to read. The difficulty is trying to understand why she acted and did what she did because of her disorder. The book got easier to read as she starts to understand her feelings and learning to live with them therefore helping me understand her reactions.

The saying (excuse the non-verbatim here) 'if you love someone let them go and if they return it was meant to be', comes to mind in this book. The breakup, was so sad. At the time I didn't understand the reasoning behind it because Hunter is the absolute best character. I totally fell in love with Hunter, everyone should be so lucky to have a Hunter in their life. So Claudia style she pulled it off. Throughout their breakup he remained present in her life - his way. Hunter wanted to become the man who Willow deserved and used the time apart to get better. The extremes that he goes through to become that person was amazing.

Happy to say there was a HEA, not typical of what you would expect but a HEA none the less.
Don't pass up this opportunity. Take the challenge it is a beautifully written book.
This is the beginning of another great series by Claudia. I cannot wait. As always, the supporting cast in this book is amazing. I fell in love with all the brothers, Little Hazel, and of course Gramps. Also dying to find out what happened to Hazel and her marriage. AGH!! Can't wait!!

Oh and loved that the Colthurst gang was mentioned in passing :-)).

I read this book a while back as a beta and I couldn't wait to get my hands on the finished product and I love it more now the second time around then I did back then. If I could I wouldn't give this book 5 stars but 100! Burgoa touches on topics in the beautiful book that many over look. Mental illnesses no matter how severe affect all of us. Whether we are the ones living with them or we know someone that has one, we are all affected by the impact that they can have. As someone who suffers from my own set of mental illnesses I found this book really touched my heart because I have always felt that everyone deserves love, no matter who you are.

Hunter and Willow both struggle through their daily lives each affected differently by mental illness and a chance encounter brings these two together. Hunter knows instantly that willow is his forever but he knows she has demons that she needs to face. Throughout the book we see how these two grow together and learn to understand one another like no one else can. It's not always a happy struggle but to see how each one of them blossoms from someone who let their mental illness cage them into beautiful souls that now know how to set themselves free (or at least control and know what their triggers are) is such an amazing journey.

This amazing book also introduces you to some amazing characters. Willows sister Hazel is opposite of her sister but supportive any way she can be and you can't help but fall in love with each one of Hunters brothers; Fitz, Scott and Harrison. They are a crazy bunch but love one another and support each other immensely! The book itself also has a quote to begin every chapter and I found that to be really amazing. I liked to go back and see how the chapter related to what I read.

Can these two affected souls find a happily ever after? Can they make it through their issues together? The only way to know for certain is to read their amazing journey! Trust me you will not by any means be disappointed.

5 Star Review of Fall For Me (Everheart Brothers #1) by Claudia Y Burgoa
AUDIO REVIEW

I was so excited to dive into Fall For Me, book one in the Everheart Brothers series and if this book is anything to go on, then we are in for a fabulous ride.
There’s a fine line between love and hate and that is how Willow feels about Hunter Everhart initially I felt for both Willow and Hunter, they are both broken, the big question is can they overcome their pasts, move on and in doing so find happiness.
Their journey is rocky and emotional and at times I was brought to tears. There was so much emotion in this story that it brought out all the feels whilst I was reading. It is raw, gritty and at times subjects are dealt with that may be uncomfortable for some, but Ms. Burgoa handled it well with strong writing.
Ms.Burgoa is not afraid to write characters who are flawed and in doing so she has written a story that felt “real” and may well leave you with a book hangover. The love and support that they give to one another and the belief they have in each other was heartwarming.
Both Jeffrey Kafer and Samantha Cook are relatively new to me They did a good job with their narration and I found them easy to listen too. They did justice to the emotions that the characters expressed and brought the characters to life for me.

I loved this book!! It's emotional, raw and REAL. It was such a unique and unpredictable story. I fell in love with Claudia Burgoa when I read Finding My Reason (another unique story) and she proves once again in AoYAoM that she doesn't follow the clichéd pattern of writing lots of drama only to wrap the story up in an unrealistic, perfect bow at the end. You think you know where the story will go and you're so far off. This book was quite the emotional roller coaster and gives a gritty look into the world of those who suffer from mental illness. Claudia takes the label of mental illness and breaks it down so we see the minute-to-minute struggles inside the mind of someone who faces such a huge burden.

My only complaint is that I wanted more in an epilogue! But I hear there's more to come so I'll be here waiting impatiently. It was a great cast of characters here and I can't wait to meet up with them again soon!

When I heard Claudia had a new book coming out I was very excited. I am a huge fan and couldn't wait for AOYAOM.

When the ARC appeared on my kindle I dove on in. I had no clue as to what the book was about but had heard it dealt with a very sensitive issue. This book is a very heavy, deep touching read.

It deals with two people who struggle every day with who they are and the thoughts and emotions swirling in their heads. When they find each other it's like a beautiful chaos. The love is there, the feelings are there but the daily struggle is very real to move forward with what is in the heart while battling with what is in the head.

Willow and Hunters story is a heartbreakingly beautiful story and the basis of their story is going to hit home with a lot of readers. I'm sure that there are going to be those who can't read it, those who have to take a break from it and those who read it and think wow it's hard to imagine trying to find love and the other half of yourself while trying to keep everything inside from taking over your every day.

I loved this story and applaud Claudia for tackling such real topic. Now the reason for the 4 star review is that I had a hard time getting into the book and didn't feel it at all for the first 30% or so. I found the back and forth a little confusing as sometimes it didn't come off very clear as to who was saying what, where they were such as one second they were in one place and then they were somewhere else but there was no clear change to indicate it happening so I'd have to read back over it to understand what just happened. That being said this is a very powerful and touching book and I can't wait to see what the author has in store for the rest of the brothers and Hazel.

I had to sit today and really think about what I wanted to write for my review. I still don't know if I have the words to get across what I want to say.

I learned a lot while reading this story. People have to work through their own problems in their own way. Everyone works through everything in their own way. And above all else, everyone deserves to have a happy ending no matter what. That brings us to Hunter and Willow.

Willow, her childhood affected her in ways that break my heart. She has her sister and her gramps but she isn't sure she does. Her little sister Hazel, she's another sweet sweet person and one I adore. She's exactly what Willow needs. And also Hunter, Hunter who has trouble being outside amongst people since his parents passed away in 9/11. From here starts the journey of one of the most beautiful love stories I've ever read.

Hunter and Willow. Willow and Hunter. The perfect match. But are they really? Their journey is rocky and sometimes downright sad. But it wouldn't be here journey otherwise. And Hunter? He knows the true meaning of love. The true meaning of sacrifice to ensure the other's happiness. But most of all he proved again and again his adoration and love for Willow. Willow struggles but because of hunters love she finally understands herself. And what's better than two people so in love bringing out the best in each other? Nothing!! ❤️
