It's not an impossible mission. It's an insane one.

Ten people. Eriumans, Karassians, Free-Staters. None of them armed with anything more lethal than a single repaired and unreliable one-handed ghostmaker and a handful of bladed weapons, all of them with mental instabilities from years of brain wipes and memory manipulations. Worse, Bellona Cardenas is uncertain of their loyalties. Ten fragile people to infiltrate the most secure facility in the Republic.

So begins Suns Eclipsed, the second book in the Indigo Reports space opera science fiction series by award-winning SF author Tracy Cooper-Posey.

The Indigo Reports series:

Praise for the Indigo Reports series:

Tracy makes the world come alive and by the time you get to the end of the story you're sitting on the edge

An exciting glimpse of what's to come by this author in the SciFi genre.

True SciFi is a magnificent world to enter and this is just the beginning of what I know will be a great series.

Hits all the things that I love about Sci-fi.

So much story!! So much promise!! This will keep my inner nerd happy.

Keeping close tabs on this new Sci-fi series.

I am a big fan of Tracy Cooper-Posey's because I thoroughly enjoy the intrigue she generates with her fictional-but-believable worlds and unpredictable plots

This little window into the world of SciFi did not disappoint me, in fact, I think I'm addicted!!

Intricate and Exciting Sci-fi Adventure!!

There are worlds at war. Shifting alliances, city-killers and other powerful weapons. A team on the run attempting the impossible; save the system from a powerful enemy.

This futuristic delight has its own version of bigotry and social media. Politics and relationships are key. A fantastic story which will draw you in to this detailed and compelling story!!

While you could jump in “mid-stream” to this series – greatest enjoyment would be in reading it in its entirety.

Intricate and Compelling Sci-Fi Journey in The Indigo Reports series!!

Welcome to a world of Eriumans, Karassians and Free-Staters. Where brain wipes are not only possible but recurrent. If you perpetrated a crime, but had your memory wiped; are you responsible for what you cannot remember?

This is an elaborate sci-fi story. Ms. Cooper-Posey provides features and functions in this universe which the ordinary person could not fathom. Fast-paced adventure full of futuristic elements, all too human emotions and developments you will never see coming.

Life is too short to finish books you aren't enjoying. DNF = did not finish

- The best character from the first book, the androgynous android Sang, is relegated to a third-hand role.
- The bland plot line featuring an equally bland yet self-righteous heroine, Bellona. A challenge is discovered, discussed, and solved, within 2 to 3 chapters. Repeat, repeat, repeat. The repetition became tedious and annoying.
- Did I mention that the heroine, Bellona, was annoying?
- The explicit rape scene near the beginning of the story. I know it turned it out well for the 'victim,' but, really?

This is an amazing science fiction adventure book. So much happens that it’s like watching a blockbuster movie in 3D! Bellona, Sang, Khalil, Hero and all the rest strive against implacable enemies as they work to enlist the Free Worlds in their fight for freedom and justice for all.

Another outstanding pure Sci-Fi book by this author; "Suns Eclipsed, " the 4th book in her The Indigo Reports Series is packed with wits, adventure, danger and new discoveries. The series continues with Bellona and her mixed crew of humans, robots, and oh yeah human with robotic parts and most of them with mental problems from years of manipulations. She's determined to make those responsible pay, as well as "free" the world from those who use their power to enslave all sentient beings through these manipulations. But this cannot be done without weapons, ships and the backing of others. Getting these things may slow her down, but they in no way stop her. I don't do spoilers, so to find out how she accomplishes this you'll have to get the book. You won't be sorry, especially if your a sci-fi fan who loves fantastic voyages into the future, where one can accomplish the unthinkable, withstand tortures and begin to change the future for all by amazing discoveries and determination. God I love these characters, a motley crew of fantastic beings.

It's a good idea to read Flying Blind first. Cameron Cooper drops you right into the thick of the adventure from the start. The entire Indigo Reports universe is full of believably complex world-building and characters. Sang will always be my favorite character even though s/he/it isn't the main one. (we all have faves, right?) Bellona, Khalil, Sang and the rest continue their fight to gather the Free-States and any other allies they can find. Brain wipes for crimes are common and trust is an issue. Cooper's characters are natural, flawed and believably real.

I really liked this book. It picks up from book 1 and weaves an interesting story that just sucks you in and keeps you reading to see what happens next and what tidbits will be dropped about the crazy people in the story. It was fun and entertaining to read. All the different races/peoples in this crazy universe make the story more interesting and build a bit of uncertainty as to what might happen next. Plus I love Bellona.

Read till 4 a.m to finish!

Fascinating, fast moving, heart stopping incidents,, and more twists and turns I thought possible. Our group of friends, with Bellona, Sang, and Khalil in the lead, keep just ahead of the Alliance, but there are costs. But with all of like minds and freedom as their goal, they continue on. I can only compliment the author for giving me such an incredibly powerful and moving book.

An action-packed space adventure. Characters are well-developed with a plot that keeps the story moving, but the characters still give us that human component that we related. A great series I can't wait until the next one.

Loved it!! Fantastic and interesting characters in the midst of some mind-bending situations!
I am loving this series! The characters are complex and interesting while the action has lots of unexpected twists and turns. The surroundings and the worlds/space the characters exist in are so different from what we know but they are so beautifully crafted by Cooper-Posey that everything is believable and created in three dimensions in my mind. I look forward to each instalment and the unpredictable nature of the story that is unfolding page by page, book by book. With no cliff-hangers and some interesting interactions between characters, I find it very appealing and entrancing even though I am usually only a romance genre reader.
Another well-written book in the Indigo Reports series: four books in, and I’m well and truly hooked!

Oh, Boy! Tracy drops us right into the middle of the action from the very start of the story. I could not put it down after reading the first paragraph.
Suns Eclipsed has the feel of my favorite sci-fi saga. Action, aliens, advanced technology, questionable technology, varied civilizations, things not going as planned - , etc; as well as allegories and vignettes which mirror the ‘real’ world. One such example is Chidi’s plan to explain away Shavistran as a fake. This is a great example of the “Big Lie (Groβe Luge)” in action. And, my favorite quote from the book is “There is an inertia to a communal belief…”
Of course Tracy’s attention to detail more than satisfies the science junkie in me. Circadian rhythm, faraday cages, an Einstein-Rosen bridge!
I am so excited that there is more to come.

Well there goes my sci-fi virginity! 😁

I am still kind of awed by the way the author managed to describe spacecraft and technology so clearly that I could visualise it in my mind, without being bored right out of it! It was honestly like watching a show.

I hadn't read the previous books in the series but suggest doing so, as knowing the backstory would've been good. There were a lot of complex relationships and political manoeuvring that I can't wait to see played out in the next book. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Although this is a stand alone book it would be best to start with the first book in the series. It took me a little while to figure out who all the players were and sometimes even if they were male or female. I plan on going back and re-reading it now that I know more about the characters. In any case this is a well written book as are all of her books. In fact, it is because I like her writing and stories so much that I decided to venture out into this new world of Si-Fi. This is my first foray into the genre. I'm happy to say this won't be the last!

Tracy Cooper-Posey continues to weave her magic in creating a universe both incredible and believable! Bellona has found a new home for her band of Ledanians! Khalil finds he cannot remain due to trust issues so he sets out to fix it! When one is trying to stop the war to end the universe sometimes the hardest task is the simplest to achieve! The action never really stops as the reader is pulled through the book at breakneck speed!

Action packed...
What a fantastic continuation! The story starts off in the thick of things and keeps the pages turning to the end. The world building is superb and the characters relatable. I am loving this series. I received an ARC of this book and this is my voluntary review.
