Read the book out loud to my six-year-old son. He tracked with the story surprisingly well. I didn’t care for the writing style, but I learned a fair amount that I didn’t know before.
I read all these books as a kid. I recall this being my least favorite.
My third grader checked this book out at school and really enjoyed it. He asked me to read it. It was a good story about an Indian boy and his wise grandpa .
