Worst book I have read in ages.

Very sweet story
At first I cried. The scene in his brothers office was brutal and I was feeling her pain. Then the next chapter goes back in that me, and it almost lost me then. I hate novels that do that. But eventually it came back and Aaron realized v what he'd done to her and he wanted her back. I definitely did not like Jared, her creepy friend. I liked that they loved each not her so much and there was no cheating. I would definitely read this author again.

Christa gestisce un bar con Allie,sua migliore amica. Fin da piccola ha dovuto faticare per realizzare il suo sogno. I suoi genitori non le sono stati di nessun aiuto, sua mamma e' una tossicodipente e suo padre un alcolizzato.L'autrice ha pensato bene di iniziare la narrazione quasi dalla fine,raccontando del divorzio di Christa da Aaron. Lui le veva giurato amore eterno e bla ,bla ,bla, ma poi le ha portato via il cuore, chiedendole il divorzio.
Nel mentre ,il suo migliore amico ritorna nella sua vita dopo sette lunghi anni di assenza senza farsi sentire quasi mai, dichiarandole il suo amore....Nel frattempo Aaron si rende conto che divorziare da lei è stato un errore madornale e cerchera' di riconquistarla ad ogni costo ....
Vi dico che leggendolo non ho provato alcuna emozione,alcuni argomenti li ho trovati quasi assurdi.Non li cito per non spoilerare ! In ogni caso ritengo che l'autrice con il suo prologo ha penalizzato molto la storia gia debole di per sé....⭐⭐🌠

Not a fan of love triangles, but tried it anyway. The blurb is somewhat misleading, there wasn’t any real interest in the OM.
The opening scene sets a great stage, but the story doesn’t really live up to it.

AD Justice 'Completely Captivated' me with this story. I was hooked from the prologue right until the last page. The story sucks you in, takes you on a ride and the twists that AD throws in, are simply perfect for the story. When I finished, AD left me all warm and fuzzy.
I fell in love with Aaron immediately and even though he does something terrible, when you discover why and see how he goes about rectifying it, you can't help but love him more.
Christa is a total sweetheart, her life has been tough but even through the ups and downs she has the biggest heart and would do anything for those that she loves.
Jared is Jared, there is no other way to describe him. Even with his flaws, you can't help but love him too.
Allie, Christa's besties & co-worker are bloody awesome, everyone needs an Allie in their life.
Lance, while a douche in the beginning, kinda redeems himself towards the end when you see why he does what he does and you cannot help but love him too.
And then there's Delilah, everyone needs a Delilah in their life. She's very important to the story and I love her to pieces.
This is one of the loveliest love stories I've read in a longtime.

This book broke me. It hits home with so much it's not even funny. My life is part Aaron and part Jared. This book. Broke my heart and made me remember things I used to have. Now this was an amazing book. But it took my heart and shattered it. But it did put it back together. I wouldn't have had it any other way.

Completely Captivated was amazing read! The story was captivating, and it was full of drama and emotions that kept me glued to my kindle from beginning to end. The characters Aaron and Christa were likeable and showed real emotions. They had instant chemistry from the get go. I like the secondary characters as well. They brought humour to he situations at times. Very entertaining read!

This is such an emotional read, one that will make you reach for tissues at times and other times you will want to grab the male hero and want to kick him/shake him. But this is one great romance read that I read in one sitting.
Meet Christa Lanes and Aaron Rivers – you meet them on her worst day ever. Christa is a coffee shop and bakery owner in San Francisco while Aaron is an extremely successful businessman who has been known to mix business with pleasure...but never past one night. He was always the wham bam, thank you ma’am type until Christa. They met and had such this insane , crazy chemistry that soon they were man and wife- he pushed and made her his wife. But all that marital bliss is over when forces threatened to rip them apart. When they could be happy, things were ripped asunder.
Now the fun begins. Christa has two men fighting for her, fighting for her heart and soul. Take a heartbroken Christa and two heroes who are determined to win her back once and for all.
I am not going to lie, I cried many ugly cries and then I yelled at my Kindle but I finally understood what the author was doing and after all the twists and turns that was going on, I just prayed that Christa made the right choice. This is one book that you have to read for I know there is a sequel involving Christa’s BFF and a certain villain who may not be the villain… so I cannot wait for their story.
The passion, the angst, the heartbreak, the emotions, especially the love is beautiful and I have to say Kudos to the author for a wonderful romance that kept me on my toes until the very end.

I found myself pulled into this story from the prologue and didn't come up for air until the epilogue!! Christa and Aaron's story had enough twists and turns to keep the story interesting, without making you dizzy.
Christa felt as though she was unlucky in life. Unlucky in the parent department, unlucky in the money department, and definitely unlucky in the love the department. So when a stranger walks into her business and begins flirting with her, she doesn't believe it can lead to anything because there was no way a man like him would be interested in a woman like her.
Aaron is an extremely successful businessman who has been known to mix business with pleasure...but only for one night. So he is caught completely off guard when a bakery owner catches his eye and he finds himself wanting more than just a roll in the dough with her.
But, as in life, everything cannot be all rainbows and unicorns. There are people and obstacles that will stand in their way and threaten their happiness. But there are also people who want the best for them and sometimes have to push them in the right direction. This is a story of deciding whether to give up when things get hard and messy, or trying to find your way through the muck in search of a happy ever after.
AD Justice has wowed me once again with this beautifully written story. Can't wait to see what's in store for the next story!!

Christa Lance in entranced by Aaron Rivers when they first meet and he's pretty into with her. All good right?! Well not exactly, because insecurities and outside interference gets in the way of their love story - will they survive or be pulled apart?
I really liked Christa and not just because of the cakes. She's sweet, unassuming and funny. Her vulnerability won me over although I would have liked her to have a little more faith in her own self worth and appreciate that rich, handsome Aaron would like her for simply being her. I wanted to shake some sense into her - darling you're a catch!!
Aaron is a reformed player. I say reformed because he's instantly taken by Christa, pulling out all the stops to woo, yes woo her! I really appreciated his romantic gestures.
I'm not really sure what to say about Jared. I wanted to loved him but he left me feeling unsettled. I never really understood where he was coming from. 7 years?! Really?
Oh the angst! Completely Captivated is full of drama, romance and chemistry. Be prepared to get your swoon on and smile over Christa's silly antics.

This book was perfectly titled because I was Completely Captivated through the Whole story. It was a perfect mix of angst, heat, heartbreak, and the strongest love ever. Angel has just became one of my must read authors.
Christa had such an awful upbringing with a drug addict for a mother and a father who ran out on her. Despite it all, she still made something of herself owning her own successful cafés. One day Aaron Walks in and sweeps her off her feet. She doesn't believe it's real because no one has ever wanted her in her past.
Aaron was so unhappy in his job with his brother who bossed him around even though they were partners. When he stepped in that café and his eyes landed on Christa, he knew he had to have her and nothing would stop him.
They do have to deal with a childhood friend who Christa hasn't seen in 7 years. He is back in town and his goal is to go after the woman he's wanted for years.
One trip. One fall and Christa's world is flipped upside down. You can't help but feel for her. She was strong though. I was feeling her pain and was so Happy when everything came together the way it was supposed to.

AD Justice is one of my all time favorite authors! In fact, I one click every single thing she publishes without ever reading the description of the book. Every book is fresh and new and never feels repetitive with any other storyline I read. And this book is very appropriately named because it will completely captivate you from start to finish. I could not put it down. I am completely in love with Aaron and was rooting for him and Christa. I felt their love, their spark, their chemistry from the get go and even though there were moments where I wanted to strangle him, I loved every piece of him. Now a couple others in the book, I wanted to push in front of a bus, but hey what's a book without a villain right? So, does Christa end up with Aaron (who I totally was rooting for) or does she find love somewhere else? And does the villain redeem himself to be not such a villain anymore? Those are questions that only reading the book will answer. Do yourself a favor and one click it and find out. You will not regret it! Can not wait to see what comes out next from this amazing author!!

I've never read a book that had such dislikable characters.
1. Aaron was a sleazy, beta predator who used his position at the model agency to get sex. He allowed models that he had no intention of hiring to believe they had a chance at a job so that they would let him "do whatever he wanted with them".
2. Jared was a slimy jacka$$ who continued to have sex with random women while he tried to convince Christa that he loved her and wanted a relationship with her.
3. Lance was a loudmouth blowhard who constantly criticized his brother and ordered him around despite the fact that they had an equal share in the modeling agency.
4. Christa was a spineless doormat who didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with Aaron bringing his dates into her café, making sexual innuendos to her while ordering and coming on to her while on dates with other women.
5. Allie was a pushy, interfering bi#%h who constantly told Christa what to do and castigated her when she didn't follow her advice.

How hard are you willing to fight for the one thing that completes you. This is a story of a love triangle but it really is a love story between two and a third interloper. This is the story of how Christa and Aaron fall in love becasue of and in spite of thier friends. We all know that love is messy, Jared has been in love with Christ since they were kids and feels the Christa is his, when circumstances find Aaron and Christ at odds. Can Aaron and Christa find their way back to each other and their love?
I requested an advance copy to voice my opinion of the story and I can honestly say that I really enjoyed it. I found myself cheering on Allie and Deliliah and at times wanting to wring Aaron, Lance and Jared's necks. But, I also foindmyself swooning at Aaron's grand gestures. I can't wait to read the next in the series.

In realtà 3 stelle e 1/2

Sono molto combattuta riguardo a questo libro, la storia è molto piacevole, nulla di impegnativo, ma sicuramente una lettura coinvolgente. I personaggi, soprattutto Aaron mi hanno convinto, ma c'è una cosa che proprio non riesco a digerire e che secondo me penalizza fortemente il libro, che poteva essere molto più di una piacevole lettura.
Il prologo è un vero e proprio spoiler, con delle rassicurazioni. Una sorta di avvertimento ai lettori. Mi chiedo per quale motivo all'autrice sia venuto in mente di fare una cosa del genere, quando gran parte della bellezza di un libro è di stupire e sorprendere?
"inizierò da quella che sembra essere la fine della loro storia. Ma non fatevi ingannare dalle apparenze: quando avrete raggiunto quel punto del romanzo, i piani che ho in mente per i protagonisti saranno soltanto all’inizio. Chi conquisterà la ragazza e vivrà per sempre felice e contento è tutto da vedere. E il mio ruolo in questa storia sarà presto chiaro. Intanto vorrei presentarvi Christa, Aaron e Jared. Come tutto è cominciato. Il momento in cui sono crollati. Poi, insieme, vedremo come andrà a finire. Questo è il loro passato. Il futuro deve ancora arrivare. Allacciate le cinture, cari lettori: ci aspetta un viaggio movimentato."
Un altro intervento avviene nel capitolo 15, perchè? Io sto vivendo una storia che bisogno ho del grillo parlante che mi dia degli avvertimenti o mi ponga delle domande?
Devo ammettere che questa è la cosa che più mi ha infastidito di tutto il libro che altrimenti sarebbe stato se non indimenticabile almeno molto valido.
"E qui, cari miei, è dove comincia il divertimento. Quale dei due uomini si terrà la ragazza? È ancora da vedersi. La vera domanda è quale dei due la meriti."
Io adoro le storie che partono dal presente per poi tornare indietro e farti capire cosa è successo per arrivare a quel punto, ma perchè intervenire nella storia, non è meglio lasciarmela vivere e non farmi sapere se quello è il finale o la storia deve continuare? Beh, dal mio punto di vista la scelta fatta è assolutamente sbagliata, ma magari non per tutti è così.
Fatta questa precisazione, che per quanto mi riguarda incide molto sulla mia votazione finale, passiamo alla storia.
Christa è la proprietaria di una caffetteria a San Francisco, mentre Aaron è un uomo d'affari di successo bravissimo nell'identificare quali modelle corrispondano meglio alle caratteristiche richieste dai clienti, quindi si muove nell'alta moda e ha a che fare con donne bellissime. Tra l'altro unisce l'utile al dilettevole, passando da una donna all'altra ma senza passare mai più di una notte con la stessa.
Con Christa fin da subito tutto è diverso, si conoscono nella caffetteria. La chimica tra di loro è talmente forte che si frequentano per poco più di un mese dopo di che Aaron insiste subito per sposarla. Peccato che la loro bolla di felicità e romanticismo esploda in brevissimo tempo.
Un grosso errore di Aaron lo porta a poco più di un giorno dal loro matrimonio a rovinare tutto forse irrimediabilmente. Sono molto combattuta riguardo a questo libro, la storia è molto piacevole, nulla di impegnativo, ma sicuramente una lettura coinvolgente. I personaggi, soprattutto Aaron mi hanno convinto, ma c'è una cosa che proprio non riesco a digerire e che secondo me penalizza fortemente il libro, che poteva essere molto più di una piacevole lettura.
Il prologo è un vero e proprio spoiler, con delle rassicurazioni. Una sorta di avvertimento ai lettori. Mi chiedo per quale motivo all'autrice sia venuto in mente di fare una cosa del genere, quando gran parte della bellezza di un libro è di stupire e sorprendere?
"inizierò da quella che sembra essere la fine della loro storia. Ma non fatevi ingannare dalle apparenze: quando avrete raggiunto quel punto del romanzo, i piani che ho in mente per i protagonisti saranno soltanto all’inizio. Chi conquisterà la ragazza e vivrà per sempre felice e contento è tutto da vedere. E il mio ruolo in questa storia sarà presto chiaro. Intanto vorrei presentarvi Christa, Aaron e Jared. Come tutto è cominciato. Il momento in cui sono crollati. Poi, insieme, vedremo come andrà a finire. Questo è il loro passato. Il futuro deve ancora arrivare. Allacciate le cinture, cari lettori: ci aspetta un viaggio movimentato."
Un altro intervento avviene nel capitolo 15, perchè? Io sto vivendo una storia che bisogno ho del grillo parlante che mi dia degli avvertimenti o mi ponga delle domande?
Devo ammettere che questa è la cosa che più mi ha infastidito di tutto il libro che altrimenti sarebbe stato se non indimenticabile almeno molto valido.
"E qui, cari miei, è dove comincia il divertimento. Quale dei due uomini si terrà la ragazza? È ancora da vedersi. La vera domanda è quale dei due la meriti."
Io adoro le storie che partono dal presente per poi tornare indietro e farti capire cosa è successo per arrivare a quel punto, ma perchè intervenire nella storia, non è meglio lasciarmela vivere e non farmi sapere se quello è il finale o la storia deve continuare? Beh, dal mio punto di vista la scelta fatta è assolutamente sbagliata, ma magari non per tutti è così.
Fatta questa precisazione, che per quanto mi riguarda incide molto sulla mia votazione finale, passiamo alla storia.
Christa è la proprietaria di una caffetteria a San Francisco, mentre Aaron è un uomo d'affari di successo bravissimo nell'identificare quali modelle corrispondano meglio alle caratteristiche richieste dai clienti, quindi si muove nell'alta moda e ha a che fare con donne bellissime. Tra l'altro unisce l'utile al dilettevole, passando da una donna all'altra ma senza passare mai più di una notte con la stessa.
Con Christa fin da subito tutto è diverso, si conoscono nella caffetteria. La chimica tra di loro è talmente forte che si frequentano per poco più di un mese dopo di che Aaron insiste subito per sposarla. Peccato che la loro bolla di felicità e romanticismo esploda in brevissimo tempo.
Un grosso errore di Aaron lo porta a poco più di un giorno dal loro matrimonio a rovinare tutto forse irrimediabilmente. Good job I was not too busy at work as I just had to finish AD Justices new book, I couldn’t out it down until I read that last page. The one thing about Ad Justice is that her writing is totally different and I will admit it takes me a bit to get into it but in the best possible way once I start reading I can’t stop.
The thing I love the most is once you stop you are so into the story that you don’t want to put it down, she takes you into this world where you feel like you can imagine every scene and you can see the story play out and you get sucked in big time.
I love the layout of this story, how we started off in the present and that really made you want to go back and see what had happened to get to the point of the main characters in the present. Add another guy in there who had pretty much disappeared from Christa’s life for 7 years and you have one hell of a book.
I really loved how Christa came from nothing and really made a success of herself, with her mum and dad pretty much not existent. I really felt for her and how she I wouldn’t say not trust people but how she was cautious with the people she loved leaving her I could understand why she was so weary of Aaron and then for him to do what she did I could see how this loving and caring character really lost her way when it came to Aaron.
Aaron was pretty much a puppet for his family and just did what he was told, especially with what had happened in his past and he really just needed to revaluate his life. He didn’t think he deserved love and couldn’t understand why someone like Christa would even think he was a good guy.
I loved the romance in this book it was very swoony and Aaron can try and sweep me off my feet anytime, but it was just such a beautiful book to read.
There was also characters in this book and the way AD writes it felt like you knew how all characters felt even though the book was about Christa and Aaron I felt you got a good look at the others especially Delilah who was one of my favs in the book, she was a little spitfire of a women and knew how she was playing her game and from the end of the book she hasn’t finished. I also loved Allie and I really loved how she only had Christa’s best interest at heart, I feel we all need a best friend like her but I hope that one day she gets her happy ending as well.
If you’re looking for a book that has you intrigued, not wanting to put the book down, some hot sexy times. I laughed, cried, swooned, and got swept up in a fantastic story.

Ho amato questa storia fin dalla prima riga; ha una struttura un po’ diversa dal solito, diciamo che sembra inizi dalla fine e che poi si torni indietro temporalmente… per un po’ è così, ma poi la situazione iniziale si colloca nel mezzo della trama e da lì si dipanano tutta una serie di eventi uno più bello e sorprendente dell’altro!
Ho molto apprezzato lo sviluppo delle dinamiche familiari e di amicizia dei nostri protagonisti, sono perfettamente intrecciate per tutto lo svolgersi della storia andando a rafforzare in meglio una trama già molto ricca di passione, amore e sentimenti.
Ho ammirato la tenacia di Christa nel sostenere fermamente alcune sue decisioni, pur se queste le portavano sofferenza.
La caparbietà ed i modi di Aaron nel cercare di riconquistare il cuore di Christa mi hanno quasi fatto perdere la testa per lui.
Ho trovato la scrittura di questo libro totalmente coinvolgente, a tratti estremamente dolce e romantica, in altri difficile e dolorosa ma anche ironica nei punti giusti.
In alcuni momenti della storia le parole che i nostri protagonisti si scambiano sono un qualcosa di unico, bellissimo e struggente.
Se volete un libro, fresco, romantico, appassionante, da leggere tutto d’un fiato, che vi lasci con gli occhi a cuoricino ed un sorriso sulla bocca… questo è quello giusto......

Holy smokes does this book have the correct title!! Once I started reading I was, in fact, Completely Captivated!!! So, make sure to clear your schedule when beginning this book, because you won't want to stop until you are finished...I know I didn't!! This book, by far, is my favorite read of 2017!!
When starting this book, the first chapter left me with my mouth open because the author brings us in on the present day. Christa and Aaron are happily married and going to visit Aaron's brother, Lance. That's when all hell breaks loose and our story begins! A.D. Justice gives us, thank goodness, the "whys" behind all of the questions that were running through my mind.
Five stars wasn't enough this book..if I could have rated it with more, I would have! This book, for me, was my perfect everything! I hated some of the characters at the beginning, but by the end I had different feelings for them. The characters were great and were "real life", which I love in a book!! A.D. Justice is one of my favorite authors, and this book is one of the reasons why! I always feel like I'm within her stories watching them unfold up close and personal! You've got your sweet, sexy, suspense and hotness......the story has it all!!

When Christa meets Aaron in the cafe she owns she can't believe how attracted she is to him even more than her friend Jared. Aaron came in the cafe with this woman who looked like a model and she didn't really eat anything but Aaron did he just loved her croissants. When Aaron asked her to dinner she can't believe someone who looks like him would ask her out but she goes. Aaron is half owner in a talent agency but since meeting Christa he hasn't looked at another woman. When Christa was 15 she had a crush on her friends brother Jared and they were pretty good friends till he went to college and she hasn't heard a word from him in seven years. When Jared comes back to town he figured he would ask Christa out but he is too late she is already involved with Aaron and she tells him so. When the story begins it fast forward to a scene and in that small part of the story began my heartbreak. As you read the struggle that Christa and Aaron and how they have to learn to trust and also stand up for themselves.
A.D. Justice has got a perfect story here that really engages your feelings never once letting up on them, I was so honored to read it and I hope she continues with other characters in the story.

Completely Captivated! The title says it all! From the first page this book had me Completely Captivated! A.D. Justice has done it again with her latest stand alone! I loved the way this story unfolded. When it first starts we get the beginning of the end, then Aaron and Christa's history in 3rd person. Once we are caught up to the 'end' and enter present time it switches to first person. The way A.D. worked her magic was nothing short of Amazing!
I loved that nothing was even close to predictable, the raw emotions Christa went through had me hating Aaron, and questioning how?! Why?! WTH HAPPENED?? There was so much packed into this story, yet it flowed so smoothly. Not only did I fall in and out of love with Aaron, I developed quite a love/hate affair with some of the supporting characters. I love the way A.D. brings extra spice to her stories with strong supporting characters. I'm always left dying for the next story, because I always need more! Absolute Great start to what promises to be an AMAZING series! Definitely one not to be missed!

Loved this book OMG was this a great love story, with young beautiful Christa at the center of the whole story along with Aaron the handsome man who she meets in her coffee shop and Jared her childhood friend. This was a great love story it kept me on the edge of my seat from the first paragraph in the prologue, by end of the prologue I was so invested I didn't want to put the book down till I finished. I laughed, I cried and giggled and sometime got angry that's how great this book was.
Can your love survive what you believe is a horrible betrayal? How much will you fight for love? Can you let go of love that may never have been yours to began with?
This book has all this plus more it will keep you wanting to turn page after page. There are some really great characters in this story other then the main three, there is one very sneaky one who will steal your heart. This book has heart and soul. I highly recommend this book by A.D. Justice. It was exciting with up downs and in between

This book took me for a ride. I love Aaron and Christa. What they shared was amazing. What he threw away was something amazing. Jarred was such a good guy. His past with Christa made him perfect for him to come in and take care of her. This book has so many turns and ups and down I don't want to give anything away!!! I can say that Christa was so loved by everyone in her life but the one that were suppose to love her unconditionally, her parents. That had such a lasting effect on her, it molded her to some extent and that's just sad. Aaron totally handles the situation badly in the beginning of the book but he tries so hard to fix it. His brother well he's just a mean , mean guy! How he ends up where he dies at the end she baffles me. The secondary characters were great in this book too! This book will keep you on your toes. This book doesn't particularly end on a cliffhanger because we do get our HEA but we get a glimpse of hopefully the next book in the series!!! Yay!!! I'm excited to read that!! I read this book for an honest review. So no cheating, no cliffhanger (technically) and a HEA. Enjoy!
