Vanessa is finishing her studies on archelogy and she is on the trail for a hidden site that she has been using to do her thesis on. Her mentor and her risked everything for this find once so now she is going alone this time. When she stops along her journey to see her mentor she meets Sheikh Ramin who is as interested in the history of things as she is. Together they embark to find tomb of Amanirenas. When they find it rivals take them over and try to steal their find. They have to find a way free of the vent they were lost in and stumble through various traps set up by the people they are there to learn about. Will they survive this journey together and share the news with others? Can they be more to each other than lovers of history?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Give me those Sheikh's
In this story we have an archeologist Vanessa going after a find that another archeologist wants to steal from here. He proves himself to be an evil and violent man. Then the hero is Sheikh Ramon who is also interested in archeology and also Vanessa. This is a good story with the action and intrigue. Holly Rayner's stories are good for that. The sexual side is very mild in these stories. Mostly kissing a few words then it's over and next comes her morning sickness then a baby.
The other stories in this book is a preview of THE TYCOON'S TEMPORARY TWINS. That the story of Sophia and Jed. The next complete story is SECRET TRIPLETS with Alex Combs she's a private investigator and Brock Anderson and he's a former criminal. Lastly is THE SHEIKH'S ASAP BABY. Kathy is an anchor desk reporter and Sheikh Tehar is co-owner of the television station. The manager of the station is a no good man that constantly cause problems.

This story is about Vanessa and Sheikh Ramin. Vanessa is an archaeologist who is seeking out the tomb of Amanirenas. The Sheikh was hosting a party where he was going to meet a team who wanted to have him fund the same type of tomb; however, that team was led by Peterson, who is a rival to Vanessa. When the Sheikh observes the treatment given to her at his party, he leaves it to comfort her and never leaves her side. She tells him what her real reason is to be in the middle of the dessert, and he makes a deal with her as he is also interested in archaeology. The story takes off the first day that they set out on their hunt, only for them to find trouble in the name of Peterson. The Sheikh’s uncle is a gem to have and Vanessa’s professor mentor is one to think twice on. I didn’t expect this book to be about tombs, but it was a great read.

Amazing & beautiful love story with lots of drama.

Vanessa is an archaeology student her thesis about Amanirenas lost burial tomb that she has tried to find in the past but on a map her professor has sent her she finds a spot that no one else has seen. She gets straight on a plane & meets her professor at a charity event where she finds that her rival from college is also there intending to make the discovery himself & his partner purposely spills her drink . She goes outside to try off her dress & regain her composure when she is met my a handsome Sheikh Ramin they spend the night talking about why she is here & he tells her about fairytales he has heard so he tells her that he will help her in her quest. Whilst on their quest they encounter traitors, enemies & their true feelings for each other.
Definately recommend this book, once I started reading it I couldn't put it down.

I have read over 20 of Holly’s books, and her sheikh stories are my absolute favorite! Vanessa discovers the location of the tomb of Amanirenas on an ancient map sent from her doctorate mentor. She connects with her mentor in Ksatta-Galan who invites her to a ball that night where she meets Sheikh Ramin. Ramin is just as interested in archaeology as Vanessa and offers to fund her expedition into the Nubian Desert. Vanessa is put off by Ramin’s playboy lifestyle and takes off into the desert on her own where she has a run-in with her nemesis. When Vanessa and Ramin begin their search again after reconnecting, will her nemesis destroy their chances? Have Vanessa and Ramin found their future together? You have to read to find out and won’t put the book down until you turn the last page.

What is the real treasure
The Sheikh's Scheming Sweetheart is the first of the Princes of the Middle East series that I have read, even though it is book 4. I have read a number of other author's Sheikh's series and found that this book is well written with a very interesting story-line that takes many twists and turns, has some mystery, some danger and definitely same sexy chemistry. I did feel that there were a few too many situations thrown into the mix but I then just viewed this book as some fun and found it to be quite enjoyable.

i really liked this book.. she was going on a dig to find something that she and her prof has been looking for years for. when she gets a map that tells her that she was right the first time she knows she has find it finally. off she runs and meets a tall dark handsome sheikh.. and he promised to help her but the guilt was eating her up since she was planning on taking something from the dig to help pay her loans.. they get close and she finds adventure and someone is trying to kill her.. so together they have to figure this out.. read the whole series at once lol

This story is quite on the adventurous side which is a good change from some of the stories I have read previously written by this author. This story has a very good storyline, good characters, both the leading ones as well as the villains ... :-) Overall this story is simply said really good and it kept me at it from the beginning to the end and it can only receive the beautiful four stars from me, at least nothing less!

This is the fourth book in the Princes of the Middle East series. It is fast-paced, action-packed, and a very entertaining read. The characters, good and evil, are well developed and the storyline is an engaging one involving ancient artifacts, danger, suspense, and a sweet romance.

An adventure
This story was a bit different because it contained am adventure to find lost or old burial tomb. I liked the uncle he was quite the character. Her mother was something else! She was so very critical regardless of what she said the mother still had to criticize her life. The story was good.

I enjoyed this read. The storyline offers an entertaining blend of action, drama, emotions, romance, intrigue and danger. I liked Vanessa and Ramin ( Originally him more than her but she did grow on me) and thought their book was quite fun. This is my forthright review that I am posting of my own volition.
