This is my favorite of Madison Faye's Possessing Beauty series. It's loosely based off of the Snow White fairytale set in modern day times. We also get the taboo of the older man/younger woman trope with this one. Still a short, smutty fairytale read but it felt like there was more story to it. I'm enjoying this series and it looks like there may be more to come if I'm reading the hints correctly.

King of Avlion has finally agreed that it was high time for Ilana, Imogen, and Isla to start finding suitable matches for marriage. Thus the King Lucian’s “suitor’s ball has been organized. Eligible men of the right means and pedigree will attend the ball in order to marry his daughters. There will be also were a number of eligible princesses that were now at marrying age who’d be joining the princesses.
All the stories in this series are taking place in this ball. The first four books focus on the stories of the three princesses and their best friend princess Adele. All of them will be claimed before the ball is finished:

It's definitely better than books 2 and 3. And finally, not a manwhore H. Manwhore Hs don't bother me but I still don't like it when I read how proud they are about it and if the women are everywhere. Good thing, nothing like that happened in the book.
The story is about Damon and Adele.
She's the daughter of the King of Berne and he's the Captain in the Royal Guard of Berne.
He didn't know who she was at first and when he found out she's the princess, it's already too late. One taste of her is not enough. He wants all of her.
It has an epilogue. More of a HFN.

Well. I’m torn. I don’t know whether I like this one or the second one better 😂
While there was still the insta-love, insta-lust connection with this one, their relationship actually built up a bit before the whole “let’s get married” ordeal like the other ones did and I really liked it. They actually got to know each other. Also. I’m a sucker for age-gap, what can I say.
But I also just really liked Magnus and Imogen so much. So I’ll leave it a tie.

"Hunting beauty" is the story of Adele, a princess and cousin to the ladies of the first three books, and Damon- her father's head of security- also bearded woodsman.
My favorite out of the four because of its forbidden smuttiness and may December theme- this book had a LOT of kinky anal and was a delightful short read.

Wow, an amazing surprise from the author... a secret installment in the series and how much I enjoyed reading this one, it was steamy with many hot scenes and OK I really liked our heroine Adele but my heart burst with love for Damon... what dominant, Alpha, pure masculine male.
As we know in the series all the heroines had to marry blue blood heroes, the same must have to happen in hunting the princess but Adele is the exception to the rule, she wants a pure bold (dirty) man and not a 'clean', sweet prince that is Damon were comes he is the captain of the royal guard. Words are overrated here, the story screams perfection with a fast pace and great characters, what's more, to ask?? I definitely recommend it and I'm looking forward to reading the next story the author will create!

Damon hace tiempo que empieza a sentir la soledad de trabajar en la guardia real como capitán. Ha empezado a construir su casa desde cero esperando el día que encuentre a la mujer de verdad que viva con él. Sabe que le costará encontrarla, hasta que se encuentra a Adele corriendo desnuda por el bosque. Él no sabe quién es pero un beso robado después, se entera de su identidad pero ya es demasiado tarde para recular. Ahora es suya, y tendrá que valer ante su padre.
Lo mismo, estos libros no pueden decepcionar si es lo que buscas. Obviamente estoy hastiada de libros extensos y necesitaba lecturas con mínimo drama, mucho cavernícola, mucho amor y sobre todo final feliz. Cero complicaciones.

HOLY WOWZA, this book was a hot if not a bit HOTTER than the rest, lol!!!! I have truly loved that this series is short, sweet and a hell of a lot of SEXY and DIRTY! I love the OTT alpha males, the sweet and yet not so innocent woman who can take about as much as he can give and then some:)
Yes, this series is great for anyone who wants to just cut to the chase, who is short on time and looking for something super hot n sexy and yet a sweet story as well! But done;t let the word sweet fool you either, this author can write a mean sex scene(s) times 10, lol

I have no idea if Hunting Beauty is one of my top favorites in this series but it wasn't a bad read either. It just seemed kind of cliché throughout the book. However, reading any kind of disney retelling book is my secret guilty pleasure.
Obviously, this book is sort of a take on Snow White. However, she definitely gets her huntsman - if you know what I'm saying. Unfortunately, all of these books are inta-love/lust and I'm just sitting here wondering why the hell I like them in these books but I hate them in others. I feel very hypocritical right now.
Either way, I really liked this book. You get a little bit of everything. Like, the sort of forbidden love because Damon is Adele's fathers head of security. Adele is a princess. There's some evil step-mom thrown in there. Oh, and sex.
I liked Adele's character because she's in all of the previous books because she was the other princesses cousin. However, after liking her already from book one - I liked her a whole lot more in her own book. Then there's Damon, which sweet jesus - I also wouldn't know what to do if I was in the woods and saw a gorgeous looking man while I was half naked. Oh yeah, I would probably scream and run far away. But Adele didn't do either of those things - so.. of course, I thought the bitch was crazy.
Sadly, she wasn't. Nope, she was just super hot and bothered for the guy. Oh, and ditto for him. I'm happy/sad at the same time that I'm done with this book but I'm also super happy that I finally found time to write book reviews. I can't wait to dive into the next book in this series and devour it!

Okay, so I know I said Sharing Beauty and her Charming Princes was my favorite, but hot damn did Captain Damon do it for me. I mean the man is beast, prince charming and brooding hunter all in one. He can’t keep away from innocent Princess Adele, but unfortunately he’s not royalty. With all the obstacles set in place, Damon still can’t keep away from his Princess for long, and as promised he finds her. He sneaks into her bedroom at night seeking for what belongs to him. He’s twice young Adele’s age, but can’t seem to stop himself from claiming what is his and no King, not even her father, will stop him. So good! I’m squealing with delight. I loved this series! Please Madison Faye, please write another addition. I beg you.

I guess I am getting used to the formula of this series. Guy and Girl see each other, fall into instant lust, by acting on those feelings, true love develops. How sweet. As the series progresses, there is some aspect of "forbidden" love that plays a role.

This is the fourth book in the Possessing Beauty series by Madison Faye. I think this one was my favorite in the series because Damon was so swoon worthy and I love that Adele didn't care that he wasn't royalty. If you've read the other books in the series then you know Adele (cousin of Imogen, Isla and Ilana) is the 18 year old Princess of Berne. Her father, King Lorne married a horrible woman (Mallory) after Adele's beloved Mother, Queen Kathryn died. Queen Mallory is the typical evil Stepmother that anyone who has seen a Disney movie knows and dislikes. Damon Hunt is a Captain in the Royal Guard of Berne, he's 35 years old and very loyal to the King. Recently there's been trouble with insurgents in the Kingdom and Damon is patrolling the woods surrounding the castle. Adele and her BFF/personal head of royal affairs, Anya sneak off into the woods to go swimming in a nearby pond. After swimming she's changing by herself when she sees a gorgeous man wearing camouflage with a gun slung over his shoulder. Damon is speechless when he sees the beautiful woman in the woods and he knows instantly that he must have her. This book had intrigue and deception and also a sweet love story in it.

This series has been a fun and HOT twist to the fairy tale princess. Adele is the princess, but has to suffer the wrath of her evil step mother. She longs for love and to be able to have her fairy tale love affair. However, most of the princes don't catch her attention. She dreams of a man's man, strong, dominant, maybe slightly older, but sure of himself. Sigh, too bad there aren't any princes like that. Damon happens to cross paths with Adele and it is instant attraction, lust, love. They are simply drawn to each other. How are they suppose to be together when there are so many problems with the situation? If you like fairy tales with a twist and insta-love, then you'll love this book. I received this ARC for a voluntary review.

I received this ARC copy of this book from the Author for an honest review. I give this book 5 stars. The storyline between Damon and Adele was hot. They met when she is with her friend at the lake and she is changing but is naked. They start meeting in secret and have hot make out sessions. She is a Princess Adele and he is below her. Please read to see how it ends, this was a must read.

Love the series. I've read each book so far, and as much as I've enjoyed those books, this book, by far is my favorite! Love the storyline, and her storytelling ability! Just fabulous. This book just cemented her as on my very short list of favorite authors, no joke!!

This is such a hot fairytale remade romance by Madison Faye. It is sort of based off of Snow White and its set in modern times. Oh and it is freaking hot. Like get your fan out and keep cool drinks handy HAWT!!
Princess Adele White doesn't want to go to her Uncle's suitor's ball. She has no interest in marrying a prince. She wants to find love on her own, to a man of HER Choosing , A REAL MAN yet she is being forced to go to this ball and made to marry someone not of her choice. As she gets ready to leave the woods, she meets this rugged and sexy man. A man who takes her breath away.
Captain Damon Hunt is on duty, doing a search around the wooded area of the kingdom when he comes upon Adele. She literally took his breath away and he is literally panting for this woman until he finds out she is the King’s daughter. Yet that doesn’t stop him from wanting this sexy yet innocent woman and he is determined to make her his. Because he knows he has met his mate.
This story takes us on a journey of how these two go about their romance behind her father’s back and how their sexual affair starts and comes to a climax at the suitor's ball leading to this whole secret that comes out involving the evil stepmother.
I hope there are more books in this series. I have enjoyed reading about the princesses and their handsome and rugged princes. This is one hot story that takes the innocent princess who embarks on a hot and sexy affair with her Captain; the Captain is a true alpha male who is obsessed with his mate and is determined to capture and keep her for his heart is one when he is with her. This story captured my soul and I loved every moment of this story while reading it.

In this book we get Adele White's story and we are introduced to Damon. Adele knows that she is a princess but she just wants to live life to its fullest. However being locked away by the royal guard and having the step-mother from hell doesn't lead to having that kind of life. Until one day she meets a man that she wants more than anything. She knows it wrong she knows its forbidden but she doesn't seem to care. Can she have it all or will her status lock her away forever?
Damon may be a member of the royal guard but that doesn't mean he can do just anything. So one day while patrolling her meets the woman of his dreams. Little did he know how quickly those dreams would come crashing back down to earth. He met and craved none other than the princess of Berne. He wonders though with the way she responded to him could she want him too. Can he have it all or will his and her status keep them apart forever?
This is a great short book in this series. Each can be read as a stand a lone but the part at the ball weaves them all together. This book is amazing because it shows us no matter what your status everyone is looking to be seen for themselves not their status. First and foremost, this whole series of standalone fairytales with some spice is amazing! I have enjoyed reading all of them. It nice to get lost and dream.

Once he knows who she is he is still determined to own and worship her. Adele is supposed to attend the Suiters Ball to find her Prince but her heart has settled for the soldier. This novella is something I would love to happen to me. A rough and tough older man to sweep me away for a happily ever after...now that's what I call a fairytale. I love a demanding older alpha male. Now, Adele was okay. Nothing really stood out for her, good or bad. She just basically went with the flow with everything. I wanted more from her. I was glad to see her step upbduring her father and Damon's fight.

Princess Adele is a young innocent princess who really doesn't like princes. If she had her way, she would find an older,rugged man who knows what to do with his hands. She never really enjoyed being a princess and would have preferred being just a normal young woman. Her best friend is also her employee. One day she and her friend were almost skinny dipping in a pool on the castle property. When she was changing out of her wet underwear, her dress blow away and she chased right into the man of her dreams. At first he scared her but his kiss made her forget herself. She wanted to keep her identity a secret since she was a princess and he was a royal guard, but her friend called her name.
Damon was out patrolling the forest when he runs across a beautiful naked girl. He falls instantly in love with her and wants her for his own. Then he finds out his ideal woman is his princess which will cause all kinds of difficulties since he is no royalty. Damon cannot give up on have Adele and sneaks meetings with her. Their passions run hot but he still has the king for her hand. This is a great book with definite hints of Snow White. I love how the big tough soldier fell instantly in love. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.

Then he finds out his ideal woman is his princess which will cause all kinds of difficulties since he is no royalty. Damon cannot give up on have Adele and sneaks meetings with her. Hunting Beauty is longer than the previous books in the series as it follows a week and not just one night, like the others.
Princess Adele White doesn't want to go to her Uncle's suitor's ball. She has no interest in marrying a prince. She's wants someone rough and rawly masculine. She wants the REAL MAN she meets in the woods. One look into his eyes and she sees everything she ever wanted in a man.
Captain Damon Hunt is on duty, searching the wooded area around the kingdom for threats. He never thought he'd come across the beauty that is Adele. He, also, never thought the woman would be his king's daughter. He won't let this stop him, because he sees his future when he looks in her eyes.
We follow the couple's secret affair leading up to the suitor's ball. We join Adele on her sexual discovery, and see Damon struggle with the reasons for why he and Adele should not be together.
An evil stepmother and weak father may be the end of the couple, before they can bring their love to light. However, Damon is determined to get his beauty.
There's hinting at a possible fifth book or maybe a spinoff series. Either way, I have my fingers crossed.
