As the plot thickens and the Evil Fea get trickery, Leksander and Erelah must fight to be together.
I can't wait to read the final book and pray that the bad guys get their just deserts!!

Thoughts: GIVE ME THE NEXT BOOK NOW!!! This series is so unique because it’s not just human mates (other than the couple of course), there was a witch and now a half angel. And there are so many interesting thing occurring that I just devoured the words. If I could, I would totally climb into this world of dragons, demons, vampires, fae, witches and angels. So, we know this will end up being an HEA but the journey to get there is full of surprises and unexpected twists. Wonder if I can squeeze in another read through… it’s worth it!!

Loved it!!!

The characters bring about a new world and the storyline is exquisite.

I loved the continuation of the series and the part trilogy.

This was the make or break of the interesting and complicated relationship between Leksander and Erelah.

This one I felt is a lot different from the last two trilogies. It had its own story to tell with the underlying one in the background.

All up alI really enjoyed this addition to the series and cannot wait to finish it with book 9!!!

So my mind is made up, Erelah and Leksander's story is definitely my favorite. They have the biggest hurdle to cross. Yes i know this is ultimately a HEA, but the tragedy they befall in order to get there is no short of being amazing. Although Erelah didn't start off as the smartest of the three princesses.

This is it. I finished book 8. That means I have one book left to go before I finish Fallen Immortals. It's a happy and sad time--but I'm not there yet. First, let's talk Marked by a Dragon. Spoilers ahead.

These books run together seamlessly, as they should when there are crazy cliffhangers like in the last book, but that also makes it difficult to review one book at a time. I think I'll do a series overview when I've finished. I'll shoot for minor to no spoilers in that.

Anyway, book 7, the previous book, left off with Erelah and Leksander hurting badly because Leksander's kiss caused Erelah to fall. Erelah experienced lust for the first time, and it drives her a little out of her mind for a minute. She didn't act like her at all, but luckily that didn't last too long. Yes, she fell, but she didn't magically become a different person. She became more human.

Erelah decides to exile herself as she believes is right and seeks out her father. That's a big deal for her since she was always trying to rise above the story of her birth. It was a sin, but she learned something interesting about that when she found her father. He wasn't fallen when he decided to put a baby in Erelah's human mother. He wanted her, and he thought he could do this in love and not fall as a result. Well, things happened. He was arrogant. As a full angel, he was potentially dangerous when too passionate, and he fell anyway. That doesn't give a girl much hope, but it was a relief for her to know her father did indeed want her. True Love is a thing that even angels can experience.

Leksander, on the other hand, wants to fix what he did. Whether he gets to keep Erelah or not, he hurt her, made her fall. Since he truly loves her, he's willing to do anything. Tajael gives him some hope that bringing Erelah back to the Light is actually possible. Because Erelah's birth was so unique and born of love, angelkind thinks she might be the key to changing EVERYTHING. Can an angeling give a dragon prince True Love? Can she come back from her fall? Yes and yes.

Erelah and Leksander come together after plenty of trouble with angels and fae. They both express their love and then they make love. Guess what? Erelah comes back from her fall. Their lovemaking, something made of True Love, is good and pure. "There is no Sin in love," as was said in the book a few times.

That's all awesome and everything, but I just have to say that the thing I love most is how big of a badass Erelah is. Leksander is this dragon/fae prince with all this power, but he's got nothing on Erelah. I don't know if I've ever seen this dynamic in any of the shifter romances I've read so far, where the heroine is physically stronger than her man. It's fun. There was even a part in the book where she told Leksander, "You do not control me!" I was like, "You tell him, girl. You are a strong, independent woman." For real, though. Their relationship is fun.

This book ends with Erelah and Leksander succeeding in the sealing and mating, starting the dawn of a new age. Their baby has dragon, fae, and angel in him. Baby's probably going to be terrifying. Since Erelah is so strong, I'm assuming there's going to be a lot of external conflict rather than internal in the next book, but I will find out soon enough and get back to you all!

It's almost time to say goodbye to Fallen Immortals.

Alisa Woods is one of my favorite Paranormal Romance authors and I don’t know if anyone can top her Fallen Immortals series. The house of Smoke and the princes take you on a journey that you do not want to come back from. I hope that she does a series on the dragonlings that these three princes have. Would love to see how she would top this series!!!! This is a series that you cannot start in the middle of. You must start with book one “Kiss of Dragon” with Lucian and Arabella. You will be drawn into a world of shifters that are part fae, dark fae, demons, angels and anglings, shadow angels, witches, danger and a whole lot of powerful SEX!!!! You do not want to miss one book of this series!

Erelah is trying to fight her sin of Lust after she has turned into a shadow angel. Leksander is driving himself crazy because he feels that he is the reason she turned when he finally confessed his true feelings for her and she realized her feelings for him. Now he must find a way to save her from the Shadow world and her father. Erelah’s time with her father is an awakening for her and she finds out how she came to be born and why her father was now a Shadow Angel leader. There are evil forces out to stop Leksander and Erelah from full filling the 10, 000-year-old treaty that protects the humans from the dark fae!!!! Can Erelah and Leksander prevail? Will they be able fight the evil forces and live? One can only hope that Zephan (one evil force) will get what he deserves in the last book!!!

OMG! Alisa Woods, you have outdone yourself! I'm not sure if the conclusion of this series will be able to compete! The anticipation building throughout it's entirety has gone to levels "through the roof" so to speak. In this, part eight of nine, and the second in the story of Erelah and Leksander, not only do we experience the volatility of their relationship, but we are thrown into the realms of the "shadow" angels, as Erelah, needing answers to her ever-growing list of questions, seeks her father, a fallen angel. But the "pure" angels are not done with her, and their hope that she may be the one that will change all of their worlds may give her all she desires. The important question of the day being...just what is it that she desires? Leksander is also not willing to giving up on his true love. He vows to fight until the end for the angeling he has loved for a century, willing to do just about anything, and go anywhere needed, to do it. But the winter fae are not giving up either. Again, who will they attack this time? And how will they manage to segregate them from the others, away from the protection of the keep?
This book, as all of the others in the series, will have you on the edge of your seat from page one to the end. Ms. Woods has a wonderful talent that brings you into the story, letting you feel as the characters do, and delve into the wonderful world of the fantasy she brings to life within it's pages. If you haven't already started this series, I suggest you do so, beginning with the first episode, as each new book is a continuation of the previous one. Definitely worth the read! I am sure I won't be the only reader anxiously waiting on the edge of my seat for the conclusion of this outstanding series!

The continuing story of the prince's of the House of Smoke. Erelah has turned shadow and she's not happy. She does find her father, Razael, he tells her mother, Elizabeth and their love. Razael and Elizabeth had fallen in love before they had sex. Razael thought he could have a baby and not fall but that didn't happen. Elizabeth had Erelah but her name would have been Aurora. While telling Erelah the story of her birth Razael called her his beloved. That simple word made Erelah understand that she was planned and loved before she was born. She realized that she has loved Leksander for the beginning.
Leksander went looking for Erelah and found her with her father. Erelah told Leksander she loved him and wanted to be with him. While Leksander was getting ready to take Erelah home she was taken by some other shadow Angels. They got her back and she went to the keep.
Erelah finely admitted she had True love for Leksander and they made love. They had decided to bake a dragonling. The fae's took Leksander and had vampire to bit him and infected him with a the demon virus. Leksander turns wyvery and went looking for Erelah. Erelah knew she could save him with her Angel blade like she did with Roslyn. Erelah found Leksander in his cave where she used her Angel blade to remove the demon and turn him back to a dragon.
In this book there are lots of action going on. Let's of side story's going on at the same time. Leksander and Erelah finely get to finish the mating. As soon as Erelah was sealed there was a battle within her body at the cellular level of Angel, Dragon and fae. The battle was won and she survives and the House of Smoke has a new prince on the way. We will see what happens the in the next book.

Will it ever happen for Leksander and Erelah will true love win in the end

Leksander finally admitted his love for Erelah now she was gone of course the first to come to mind was Zephan but it wasn't him the only other was the queen of the summer palace, she wanted Leksander for her self she lusted for a dragon so she kidnapped Erelah and locked her in a tiny cage ready to dispose of her. Leksander was desperate even if she couldn't love him he had to save her, calling on Tajaels help to get to the queen he confronted her he would have made any promises but he used his best negotiating skills to make the queen see that the one by her side had all the love and more for her, releasing Erelah he took her and began healing her from the burns mixing his dragon and fae blood with her angeling blood, when she came too passion raged in him but he was very patient slowly he explained his feelings then kissed her, and she kissed him back and in that moment she fell, suddenly her pure white wings were coal black, OMG has he lost her again she had flew and flew she didn't know where but she was ashamed. She made the decision to go to her father Razel also fallen pure Angel because of his love of her mother a human woman. This story has so much going on so much more to tell so much hardship pain fear and love a must read

The Princes of Smokes continue with their quest to complete the treaty, where their success will save the world. The dark forces opposing to world peace, use everything in their power to gain the upper end.

The other two princes, Lucian and Leonidas have played their parts and now it's all up to Leksander to achieve their purpose.

This second part of the story of Leksander and Erelah picks up right where it left off. Things have gone drastically wrong and their chances look very remote. However, some good have come out of their mishap. The dark angels and dark faes have become more aggressive and have become very creative with their tactics to keep Erelah and Leksander away from each other. Can they overcome these obstacles?

This instalment if very tense. The demons and vampires create havoc. Zepham is more unpredictable and nastier than ever. It will be interesting to see what transpires in the final part of this series.

This series would appeal to 18+ Paranormal readers as it contains explicit sex scenes.

Great continuation of the story! Wow, I was wondering if Alisa Woods could pull this dragon tale back on track after book 7 left me feeling that Leksander & Erelah didn't stand a chance & she sure did! The flow was great, & the story totally held my interest. Finally, Erelah has become likable, almost more human than angeling in personality now. Leksander also regained his original likability from the first 6 books in the series that he sort of lost a bit in book 7. I would recommend reading the whole series to appreciate some of the references to other things that happened in the previous 7 books. There were a few places that left me puzzled about how or why things happened, but otherwise, I felt it was a entertaining read. I'm anxious to see how this ends in the final book. Hopefully the dark fae prince, Zephan, gets a bite of karma for all the stuff he's pulled on the House of Smoke trying to break the treaty!

     Ms. Woods is gearing up for the finale you can tell it's going to be big, can't wait.         
Prince Leksander Smoke is a Royal Dragon Shifter of the House of Smoke, has loved his Angeling for more decades than he can count. But his Angeling didn't even think of love for a man, let alone him. Somehow, someway he had to change that.
     Erelah is Half-Human & Half-Angel, daughter of Razael flies over Seattle looking for demons. She would give her life for her friend of many decades, Leksander but she was not capable of the love that he wants and needs, or can she?

What would you do to save the one you love?

As a Prince of the House of Smoke, Leksander is bound by honor and his love for Erelah - so much so that even if he can't have her he wants right the wrong brought on by his kissing her. He is willing to do anything to bring her back from the Fallen and into the light.

Erelah is devastated after succumbing to her lust for Leksander. Who knew a kiss could bring forth so many emotions. She fly's off and eventually decides to try to contact her father (if he is alive) as he is Fallen and she honestly doesn't know who to turn to. She has to reevaluate everything in her life, and perhaps see there is no sin in loving someone.

There is so much more but of course we can not tell you, that would take away the joy of reading it. As always, I truly loved this story and the series itself. So looking forward to the next.

In Marked by a Dragon, Leksander goes after his Angel, Erelah in the shadow world of fallen angels and battles to save her and bring her back to the light with his true love. This works until the demons attack Seattle as a distraction and Leksander is captured and infected with demon blood. This time Erelah and her Angel blade save him and they end up in a cave to complete the mating where he marks her with dragon fire and then gives her his dragonling.

Marked by a Dragon ends happily but they still have to return to the keep and Erelah has to give birth to his child to renew the treaty that protects the world from the fae's destruction. I am looking forward to Claimed by a Dragon the last book in this great nine book series.

Loved it!!!!

Erelah and Leksander are my new it couple! Dual natures and double the trouble. This couple just cannot catch a break. Angels vs Shadow, light and dark fae, so nobody really needs to keep them apart as they are doing bad all by themselves.

Can Erelah be the new hope for the angelings or will she be her own destruction? When you have loved someone as long as Leksander it is hard to see the big picture until it is almost too late.

What would you be willing to do to save the one person you are meant to love forever? Is any sacrifice to big?

This was a great read. I was really excited to see how the author would bring them together. They both are really supportive of others and deserve the chance to pursue the feelings they have had for so long.

There is so much action and romance and it really keeps the story moving at a quick pace. You never know what it next and it seems like there are constant surprises.

There is humor too in that she doesn't get slang and it made me smile to see the others try to help her adjust to life away from the angels. I am eager for the final part of their story.

I highly recommend you read the whole series.

I think this has been my favorite book of the entire series thus far (can book #9 top it?). We’ve known of Leksander’s feelings for Erelah since book 1, so when he sets to save his fallen angel, everything in my world stopped, and all I could do was read this book. They are by far my favorite couple. Erelah learning of her true feelings for Leksander and understanding that there is “no sin in love” was exceptional. Of course, there are many parties involved in this saga and many would like to see their pairing (and subsequent child) never come to light, so to see the final resolution come is much anticipated. Cannot wait to see how our “Fallen Immortals” come out in the end.

Holy dragonfire! This one was HOT! I absolutely am in love with this series. It truly gets better and better. This is the best yet, trust me. If you are as addicted to these Princes of the House of Smoke as I am you will be thrilled with this story. Erelah and Leksander have to find out if they can be in love, mate, survive the sealing, etc...all while keeping the evil sides at bay. Yes, you read that correctly, sides as in plural. Wowza will you be engulfed in this book. I am so afraid of spoilers that you don't deserve, so I am going to end with READ IT! Truly, you must.

Definitely a page turner!

I was so excited to finally read part one of Leksander and Erelahs story. I can't wait for part two to come out on a few months. This is definitely an awesome read, there's something happening around every corner. I also like that Roslyn gets to help Erelah. The descriptions of the characters, especially the Angels and Angelings, is truly amazing. I felt like I could imagine each character. It was as if I was in their realm living thru what they were going thru. I'd definitely recommend this read to anyone who loves paranormal romance. There is absolutely no dull moments in any of the Fallen Immortals series.

Erelah and Leksander continue on their quest to love. She has been taken over by lust, her wings turning black...or has she? Leksander feels responsible for "bringing her down from grace" and is willing to do anything to save her, setting events in motion that will surely have everyone on their toes.

I loved seeing Leksander fight for the love of his life, caring nothing for his if it meant saving Erelah. His brothers also turn up, showing once again the magnitude of their devotion to family.

Erelah, such a beautiful creature, lending moments of laughter as she tries to deal with slang and the ways of humans.

Once again, a wonderful continuation to the series.

Erelah has survived a gilded torture cage, falling to Shadow, but will she survive her loves wyvern?

Erelah finally meets her father when she turns to Shadow after a bout of sexual desire and discovers that he really truly loved her mother and was still a powerful Angel when they made her. Razael is a very powerful Shadow Angel and he must fight for his daughter when the Shadow angels try to take her.

True love turns her from Shadow back to angeling when she discovers the True Love Leksander has for her and she for him. Now they risk losing everything if they mate and try for a dragonling.

Will Leksander and Erelahas' love be the end of The House of Smoke and all humankind?

I loved this book! The ending was awesome but I can hardly wait for the final book to come out in July. I don't want to give anything away so I won't say what happens but our H & h are perfect for each other. I love the way Ms. Woods weaves her stories, sucking the reader in and creating such a vivid image of everyone and everything. Like all of these books, this one has plenty edge of your seat action, adventure, suspense, fighting, hot sex, and tender but all powerful love. The ending isn't a cliffhanger, but at the end the reader knows the story isn't over yet. Well done Alisa Woods!

3.75/5 stars. I really like Erelah, and I think she's why I'm liking these books so much more. Where Arabella and Rosalyn held so many similarities and ended up being carbon copies of one another, Erelah is different and unique, and stays strong the whole way through. I liked that Leksander was the one to get captured, I liked that Erelah was the one to save him more than once.

It was still too much like the other 7 books in the series for me to give it a very high rating, but the characters have been much more enjoyable to read about!

Fallen Angeles, Dark Faye Prince, Demon Vampire, Wyvern, Summer Queen, Oh, My!

Leksander and Erelah's second book is by far the best one of the series in my opinion! It has a little bit of everyone, the strife, love, and of course, the comic relief. They save each other from death, he kept his wyvern at bay, she blasts him against the ceiling ;), and OMG, the sex is hot! I can't wait until July for the final chapter.

The things these guys have to do to save the world. Our couple have to fight angels, Fae and vampires just to get to where they can actually love each other. This has to be Ms Woods most intense story yet and it's still not over. You really want that dark fae to get his, he bends the rules to the point of breaking. At least the light angels really help in this one.

Loved it!!!!!

Loved the story so far. I can't wait to see what happens next, although if Erelah could come back from shadow because of her True love why couldn't her father?? I wonder how her father will feel when he finds out she's pregnant. I really really hope someone kills Zephan I mean if someone deserves to die.....
I have really enjoyed everyone of these books and I really can't wait to see how it all ends.

Omg this series is fab, it just gets better. Leksander is finally getting what he wants but will he be able to save Erelah from herself. This story just kept me glued, the plot, and the writing are great. All the characters are amazing, and they come together in this great series, there is lots of angst, lots of sex, lots of twists and miscommunication and now I’m moving on to the finale of this trilogy to see if Leksander and Erelah complete the treaty and save the world. Amazing read.
