I ended up skimming through this trilogy because it was actually quite bad. I would not recommend this to anyone.

So Natasha and I scored tickets to Book Bonanza in Denver next July (OMG!!) and we immediately started looking at the author list to see who we hadn’t read and wanted to read. This little gem had been sitting on our kindle for a few months and since E.K. Blair will be in Denver, I decided to go ahead and start this series. We have been in the slump of all slumps only escaping for moments this summer, so I wasn’t sure how this was gonna go. At 8%, I called Natasha and said, “This is the one!” This story pulled me in immediately and didn’t let me go until the very last page. I was desperate to know what was going to happen next. Thank you E.K. for successfully pulling us out of this slump! This is a must read series, and I cannot wait to meet the lovely lady who wrote it!

This was definitely the one! I was totally invested in these characters. Whether I hated or loved them, I was just excited to be engaged. Like Jasmine said, we have been totally out of the loop this summer. So even though I didn’t love every single thing about this series, I’m totally grateful to E.K. for throwing me into the fire. I won’t go into all of my likes and dislikes. But I have to know… What was up with Nina’s obsession with shift dresses?!

This series is amazing, so happy to see it released in a special box set. When I first read it I wanted to scream at the most memorable cliffhanger I had from books. Had to wait months to find out the next part. The end was absolutely perfect. The story will blow your mind, bate your heart and scramble your emotions, but is totally worth it. Go get this box set now and find out about Elizabeth and Declan.

What a beautiful and tragic story. The first two books ended in cliffhangers and the ending, although not what I had wanted, was the perfect for this story. The mind is an amazing thing.

Oh my God..I still can't believe it!
I couldn't put this book down to save my life..I had to keep reading and now what evil was going to turn up..Every time I thought I finally understood what was going on the tables were turned and damn if it wasn't something brilliant.
The story is dark, full of hate and thoughts of revenge..but the characters, I love most of them. Some are creepy and some I'm still undecided, I can't seem to stop getting different feelings about each one of them and all based on different part of the story.
All I know is that I'm truly shocked and speechless.
Hush Is plenty emotional but not as all consuming and Def there was no punch in the gut feeling lol
It's more dealing with the after of the previous books and trying to come out on top..not an easy thing to do by any means.
I had an idea of who the person was on the plane but I wasn't really sure the author wouldn't spin it another way.
Plenty of situations happen, mind you, and Elizabeth and Declan have both their pasts and actions to account for and deal with.
As for the ending..It was the way it was supposed to go..no other way..it's coherent with the story, no matter if you like it or not.
As for the epilogue..it's not as crazy or as far fetched as you might think..If you read the other books and actually paid attention to what Elizabeth is going through in this one..well, no explanation needed!
A great serie that will lead you on a journey with the main characters, but the secondary as jut as important. A journey that will take you to hell and back and will make you feel so many different emotions.

Wow, just wow! The first two books were so messed up; the second even more messed up than the first, and I didn't even think that was possible. I haven't read the third yet. You have to walk away for a while before delving more into the story. That's really saying something--it's dark. Some, if not the, darkest books I have ever read. Regardless, the first two were so GOOD. I was biting my nails in anticipation of what would happen next. Gah!
The emotions in the second book were spot on to what I would feel in each character's situation. I was a balling mess throughout the second book. The background stories were so darn depressing, making the main character one messed-up individual. I don't want to say anything else that would give the story away. I'll just say that this is EK Blair; you know her books are going to be good. And if you haven't read her books yet, then I'm telling you: This is EK Blair; trust that her books will gut you and leave you begging for more.

This book left me completely mind blown. This a great story to read when you want the unexpected and that blown away factor. Bang is titled right it will blow you away with its heat and deceit. This story took me on a roller coaster of emotions. It’s hard to describe this book because it took me on such a whirlwind of what and what ifs. They say love is supposed to heal you, every crack, every break but sometimes it is that thing that breaks you. It brings you to your taking no mercy on you in the progress. It leads you on a dark path, a path that is hard to return from. This is a beginning of something great just a little twisted. Something dark that will stay with you for a while.
This author did a great job of drawing the reader in and making them want more. I cannot wait to start book two I need to know more. This is a great book to get lost in, it will be so worth it.

Where do I begin, the first book was fantastic brilliantly written I stayed up without sleep it was so captivating full of intrigue, humor suspense...phenomenal!! She became my favorite author I wanted to read everything she has written. Book two was also good not great then there was Book 3 and I have a hard time believing the same person wrote book 1, what a let down OMG she really dropped the ball ending was ludicrous and disappointing. It was quite a disservice to everyone that was rooting for the tormented souls. The writer lost a fan, I completed the book and all I can say is why? and not in a good way, what happen to the brilliant and captivating author that started her audience on a remarkable journey only to end in a sadistic and nonsensical fashion.

This series had everything I need in a book. It was raw. It was brutal. It was emotional. It was beautiful. I was such a fan of Elizabeth’s even though she could be whiny and oh so petty.
Without giving anything away, I thought she was too hard on herself after what Pike did following her amazing revelation. Yet she was scheming on Bennett. Her priorities were totally out of whack.
I can forgive all of those flaws. I would have even still given 5 stars. That epilogue in Hush though... painful. It left me speechless. It definitely knocked the series down a few pegs. I’m going to create an alternate ending in my head because, quite frankly, this one sucked.

Oh my gosh! I still can't believe the ending!!! I guess the end was the way it was supposed to be and I believe the epilogue fits the story. Elizabeth finally found her peace and I was OK with that. This is a dark, twisted thriller series that I could not put down. I read the whole series in a weekend. This series is a roller coaster of emotions and shock, it's a dark story full of some terrible things and plots of revenge, some of it was hard to read at times, I usually read stories the complete opposite of this but I have to sayI did enjoy this read and highly recommend.

Dark & Twisted with a side of Love...
Book one of this series was totally amazing! I seriously couldn't put it down and read it straight through. Book two also kept my attention although it didn't consume me like the first book did. Book three I was good with up until the very end. I really felt cheated with the way it ended (biggest thing being Declan never really got to spend time with Isla) that's why I give it 4⭐ instead of 5⭐. But I truly did love Elizabeth/Nina and Declan's story!

No words!!!
I don't think I even have the words to write this review. My goodness!! Talk about an emotional rollercoaster!! I never imagined that this trilogy would affect me like this, but I'm speechless, truly, and NOT in a bad way. I'm most definitely in love with Declan and plies, even his dark side. The way he loves, all consuming, it's beautiful. These books were exciting, heartfelt, terrifying at times and in the end just beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful read!!

So. I was not prepared for what I was going to read. At all. I don't read spoilers. Reviews or half the time blurbs. Friends tell read this book and I do. I thought i was going to lose my cool after bang. Then no... Echo had me losing my mind. And then boom. Hush happened. I am in a little book funk now. What will ever compare to that. Great twists. Great oh my gosh... great love. And great angst. Thank you. Thank you.

I love the Black Lotus series. E.K. Blair does an amazing job of keeping you on your toes through these 3 books. Be prepared for a rollercoaster ride and shock. I still can't believe that ending. Perfection
This series has everything you want in a book. I don't like to give away the story but omg there is love, hate, rape, murder, fairy tales,. I laughed and cried. I couldn't put my kindle down. Look forward to reading more by E.k.Blair xxx

I have to be honest, I didn't like the ending at all. For all the grief that Elizabeth had on your life, she deserved a happy ending.The book is well written and after all the reviews I read about the heaviest scenes, I thought it was worse than it is. The black novel category is well deserved.

Each book in this really kept me gripping my kindle so hard I thought I'd break it!
So much angst, pain, heartache and emotion, you'll be hard pressed not to shed a tear or 3 at each book.

This is truly a dark romance if you can call it that and is not for the faint of heart. I read the box set back to back and the ending was not what I was expecting and I was a little disappointed by it. However, I will not spoil for others who have not read it yet. It was a riveting story.

The weirdest happily ever after.
I fell in love and lost so many characters. I don't even know where to start. These were the most interesting books I have ever read. And that is saying a lot. Well written from beginning to end.

Elizabeth drove me crazy reading this book! Great character but a lot of emotional disturbance. I loved the story line though.
