Meet Levi Masterson…

I’ve never had a problem with the ladies. I’ve got all the right equipment and I know how to use it. But my life just landed in a blender and my head is still spinning. So when Harlow Hartley comes jackknifing into my world like a tornado, I try to steer clear. She’s my sister’s best friend. She’s having a tough time right now, and I was asked to let her move in with me until she can get on her feet.

With Low at the house, dripping with attitude, dancing around in those tight jeans, that T-shirt that stretches in all the right places, I’m ready to lose what’s left of my mind. Sure she’s beautiful and smart, but she’s mouthy and feisty as can be. As tempted as I am to try to land my mouth over hers, my sister made it clear that Low is off limits. As much as I’d like to think that’s a good thing, I can’t seem to shake the need to have her.

Maybe it’s time to scratch that itch—something quick and dirty that takes the edge off for the both of us and we can call it a day. But nothing in life is ever that simple—sometimes your heart gets in the way.

My Thoughts: The following are my thoughts about this book:
General:
- Setting: Hollow Brook, North Carolina

Characters:
- Levi (age: mid 30’s, occupation: was a lawyer, now a restaurant owner with a couple friends):
- Levi is technically not divorced, although it’s just semantics seeing as his “wife” is having a baby with his twin brother. 😲 I would definitely say their marriage is over.
- Levi has had a few crappy things happen to him and he’s reinventing himself. He’s a good guy who is lonely.

- Harlow (aka Low) (age: mid 20's, has a degree in business but not using it):
- My first impression was that Harlow was extremely jealous of her old college roommate (Levi’s sister). In the first few chapters she went on and on and on about all the wonderful things her BFF had (job, globe trotting, surrounded by gorgeous underwear models, nice place to live, nice part of town, yada, yada, yada). Jealousy is not an attractive quality and It certainly didn't endear her to me in any way. Seeing as my first impression was negative, it was kind of hard to come back from that and like her.

The story:
I did not start out liking this story. By the end of the first chapter I was seriously contemplating a DNF, all thanks to the female character. The humor was over the top and ridiculous. The female character came off as immature with all her commentary and inner dialogue/thoughts. Her inappropriate sexual comments flat our irritated me. OMG I wanted to throat punch her. Was this story written for an adult or a teenager??? Argh. 😤.
So, needless to say, I struggled. So why did I actually stick with it and finish you might ask??? I don’t know. I liked Levi and felt sorry for him, so maybe I hung in there to make sure he got his HEA.

This is a really short book. Although my kindle said it was 300 pages, this book ends at 50% (so maybe 150 pages at most) and another book (Wild Kisses) takes up the next 50%. So, because it was short I felt that substance was lacking. It felt chaotic with no depth. I skipped a ton of pages and really couldn’t wait to get to the end.

Overview:
- Do you need to read previous books in series?: I think there are characters from other books that make an appearance, but I didn’t need to read them to understand this story.
- POV: dual POV
- Tropes: best friends brother, fake relationship, insta-love
- H likable? Yes
- h likable? No
- h virgin? no
- First time they kiss: 23%
- First time they sleep together: 68%
- First time they say I Love You 65%
- steamy? it had some sexy times on page.
- OW/OM drama? yes. Levi has a wife, but they are just waiting on the paperwork to make the divorce final. He does not have any feelings for her nor does he want or reconcile with her.
- H/h cheat? no
- Did I skip pages? A ton
- Big secrets? yes. Some they share together (fake relationship) and something Levi reveals late in the book.
- Did I cry? no
- Did I laugh? no. I should have and I think the intent was that this would be humorous. But, I found the humor juvenile and over the top.
- Cliffhanger? no
- HEA? yes
- Epilogue? a little while later (a couple weeks, maybe 🤷‍♀️)
- Recommend? no

Quotes
“I’m only this charming to you, sweetheart. To everyone else, I’m simply an asshole.”

I thought you’d be just as sweet and fun-loving as your baby sis, but you’re about as welcoming as an orangutan with his dick on fire!”

"You looking for a fight, or are you just constipated?”

“Bailing you out of jail was the best move I ever made.”

Deliciously inviting, intriguing yet tantalizing and inviting Nook Books and More Blog Revenge can never be so sweet! What starts out as revenge ends up a total different ball game. The chemistry between the two is exciting to say the least. They definitely knock off more then they can chew. Lol. There deviousness between characters that they plot against that gives you that touch if sinfulness you so desire in a read. The banter and chemistry flies off the pages and into your heart to your very core. This book is funny and sweet romance that leaves you with a smile in your heart. Most of Addison Moore's books have a sense of humor that keeps you laughing long after you read. I fell in love with Levi and Low. Their story melted my heart. Harlow was feisty and Levi was the opposite but, together the chemistry between the two sparks and ignites your world with spunk and color vibrant in your head.

The main characters of this book are hilariously funny, witty, and charming. The cluster of friends have a unique bond and explain the average lives and experience people endure. The story brings a true life experience out of it along with a love that's desirable in any eye.

I would highly recommend this series and really any book that this author has ever written . She pulls her heart in soul into her writing. She's impeccable in her writing skills let me tell ya! This series each book can be read as a standalone. It's refreshing when you're pushed for time

The words flowed nicely and kept you intrigued throughout the story. The historical facts

throughout seemed believable.

I freaking loved this book! Five stars baby!!

Ich wollte das Buch mögen. Wirklich.

Another wonderful book at the hands of Addison Moore. It's a lovely, funny and sexy read. I love Low's wit and Levi is so sweet and sexy.

Low just got fired and her appartment building is closed down for the next year. Low's best friend has the solution, her older brother Levi has a spare room. Only one condition, hands off her brother. Levi lets her move in and his sister had only one command, hands off the best friend. Low and Levi have a connection right from the start. But is it something quick and dirty to take the edge of or is it something else.

If your a fan of the 3: AM kisses serie or you just like sexy romances than this is a story you don't want to miss.

LOVED Harlow's amazing personality! She is witty, adorable, funny, charming and absolutely playful..... Her story with Levi doesn't start out in a good place but by the end of the book these two become inseparable. Of coarse Levi is the sexy hot man in this book (along with his hot business partners), he definitely had a few bad years having to deal with his cheating wife and unfaithful twin brother, having Low in his life changes the whole perspective of a man with a broken heart. There is nothing like healing a broken heart than a new beginning with an amazing woman. Can't wait to read the next book of Lexi and Axel's story....

Low Down and Dirty was a refreshingly funny and sexy read! I loved Low's ready wit and sarcasm. Levi was thrown into a situation he thought he could handle. After a crazy introduction that neither of them expect they try to make the best out of the situation. The growing attraction is only fueled when Low helps Levi deal with some of his not so distant past. Having Low there made it bearable and not hurt so much. Together they can heal each other if they let one another in. New friendships are forged and plans are underway to keep these two together.

Addison Moore did a great job on this book. The story is well written. I could not put this story down. The book is filled with emotion. This story is about Levi Masterson and Harlow Hartley (Low). Levi lets his sister's best friend Low move in with him, she's down and needs a place to stay. Levi and Low have a great friendship growing, but there's a strong connection between the two. Levi and Low are perfect together. Their chemistry is off the charts sexy. Loved Levi and Low. Levi is strong, hot, has a great personality and possessive. Low is sassy, beautiful, smart and feisty. They are a great pair. This is a great story. I really enjoyed this book. I recommend reading this story. 5 Stars. Thank you, Addison Moore. Great work :)

Levi doesn't like his woman paying for things, "...I head to the cashier and whip out my wallet. “No way, no how.” He outguns me with the Visa, and sixty-three dollars later..." Levi has some big ambitions when it comes to his and Harlow's future, “mmm.” I kiss a line from her lips to her ear. “I think I’d like to practice. I’d like to have six or seven for starters.” I really enjoyed this book, and I can't wait to delve into Ax and Lex's story.

This is the second or third book i have read of Addison Moore.
They are not bad , but they are not good either.
There is the funny stuff and all , but that's it.
I don't really feel the romance the books i have read so far from this author.
I kind of feel like the books are written for underage girls.
So , i think this will be the last book i have read from this author.
Don't get me wrong , i don't hate it but i don't love it either.
I sped up in reading most of the time just so it would be over and if you do that , then it's just not a book you should waist your time with.
So , apologies to the author .. But it just is not my kind of books.

I was so thrilled to learn that there would be a side series to Addison Moore’s 3:AM Kisses Series as I have enjoyed each and every book in that series. I was so happy to be introduced to more characters and whilst they didn’t have much to do with those that are in the 3:AM Series you can still get a feel of the characters. This series is told from more of the adult world, none of the characters are students anymore, being in college to help further their education. Nope, they are living in the real world and facing adult problems. I love how Addison has nailed this perfectly, there’s a difference between the two set of series and it shines through.

Everyone knows that life isn’t perfect, yet in this instance, Low (Harlow) seems to not be having the best of luck at the minute. Whilst she has a job, it’s not exactly fulfilling for her, she spent 4 years at Whitney Briggs University (college) studying in a major that she thought would at least benefit her when it came to living in the real world. However, that hasn’t exactly happened just yet, she is jealous of her best friend as even though she stayed in uni for an extra year, she is now currently touring the world, going to exotic places and is flaunting around all these hot semi naked guys. Surly that sounds like the dream, but unfortunately for Low, her life decides to take a turn…. With no parents and only her 3 sisters alive, she doesn’t want to go back home after losing her job and having to move out of her house due to some work that needs to be done. Talk about timing, that pretty much makes her day one of the worst in existence. So, with no where to go and no job to be at, she decides it might be a good idea to go ahead and see if her best friend will take her in, however, she’s in for a shock when her best friend Raven arranges it so that she can stop with her brother Levi. With Levi already going through stuff of his own already the last thing he is expecting is to have a house guest, but things seem to get off to a bit of a tricky start… Will things run smoothly or will it just be a disaster? The only way to find out what happens in this amazing book is to go ahead and pick it up. Addison never disappoints.

The steamy romance Low, Down, and Dirty did exactly that. It got down fast and it got dirty between Levi Masterson, one of the three partners of The Sloppy Pelican (a ritzy bar for the Whitney Briggs alumni) and Harlow Hartley, Levi's sister's best friend. The book opens with Low on her Worst Day Ever and lets just say, her worst day also doubled as the funniest book scene in Addison Moore history. I was practically in tears when Low reached her breaking point and showed that pharmaceutical tech lady what she was made of. We also see that in her friends she makes in her stay back in town. The romance that sizzles when Harlow moves in with Levi is instantaneous. Levi is still down-to-earth despite the hell he's being put through throughout the entire novel. By his own relatives even! Levi and Low are the power couple everyone knows is a sealed deal—a forever deal. Their love was everything but ephemeral. They fought battles within themselves and unspoken enemies in this book. They overcome obstacles a lot of couples couldn't even imagine trying to go through. I've never read a books where I was so sure the couple was the real thing. After finishing Low Down and Dirty I was left ravenous and eager to see what more they had in store. I wanted more humor, I wanted more romance, I wanted it all! On the other hand, I'm so glad we have another upcoming novel in this series so we can get sneak peeks of them in the future! I'm an Addison Moore addict, so I always recommend her books, but this one has a special place in my heart. Definitely my #1 favorite of her New Adult books.

Welcome back to Hollow Brooke. Best Friends, Levi Masterson, Axel, and Brody pool their talents and open a competing restaurant for the adult crowd, The Sloppy Pelican. The University's watering hole is the Black Bear.

Raven Masterson, Levi's younger sister is best friends with Harlow (Low) Hartley and Lexi (Lex).
Unfortunately, Low just lost her job and her apartment all in a single day. She calls Raven in a panic to beg a couch spot for several days, but Raven has a better idea. Her brother, Levi has a spare room.
She twists his arm a bit and he gives in, Low can stay for a few days. Raven cautions her to NOT fall in love with her gorgeous, tall, muscular brother and add to his already swelled head. In actuality, he is still trying to get over the dissolution of his marriage and is busy trying to get their new venture off the ground and into the black, profit-wise.

Low walk into the Sloppy Pelican and Levi's eyes immediately spot her. He is taken by her beauty and attitude. Eventually, She winds up at his apartment. The road to romance is not quite smooth, but lots of fun. I thoroughly enjoyed this first taste of an Addison Moore book. 5 stars. Looking to purchase book 2 in the series of Hollow Brooke and the owners of the Sloppy Pelican. Next up:
Axel and Lexi (Lex).

Levi and Harlow meet when Harlow needs a place to crash and Levi's sister suggests his place. Levi and Harlow have been sworn off of each other by his sister, Raven. Their first meeting does not go so well and winds up with Harlow in handcuffs. Harlow then blames Levi for her predicament and things go south from there. I didn't really care for Harlow for most of this book and her actions and the endless blame she cast upon others was not endearing. Levi had been dealt a bad hand and it takes most of the book to find out how bad his life really had been in the last few years of his life. Harlow was just allowed to change the menu and all of the idea for The Slippery Pelican and I found that hard to believe. Her degree had nothing to do with hospitality and, other than making brownies, there wasn't anything mentioned that would leave one to believe she was a culinary genius. I did like how their relationship built slowly. I did find it kind of hard to understand how one character doesn't give the other one a chance to explain and just runs away. For two people in their late 2o's and early 30's it was a bit too much. The ending was nice and I did like how Levi went for what he wanted and didn't let his past hold him back.

This is a great start to a fun and flirty spin off of 3:AM Kisses. I laughed to the point of tears many times throughout this book. Such a great and fun read. Loved the characters and I loved the connection to the 3:AM Series!
Low ... Is a spunky thing with her life spiraling out of control as she lost her job, and apartment. She is hoping her best friend will lend her a spare room until she can get back on her feet, but instead her friends suggests she stays with her brother of all people. She is so not enjoying the thought of staying with her bff's brother who is off limits, but that doesn't stop Low from fantasizing about him.
Levi ... OMG such a sexy book boyfriend. I wish I had the chance to stay with my bff's super hot and sexy brother... well when I was single of course :) He is so broken and doesnt want to help his annoying little sisters friend out, but once he does, he falls hard as she picks up the broken pieces and mends him back together.
Love, Love, Love this story! These two characters are great and I look forward to reading the next book in this Low Down & Dirty series!

Although this states book is over 200 pages it is actually much less than that as when it got 35% in the book ended and the rest of the digital file was taken up by information on the authors other works and a long extended preview for one of her books in another series.

To say I was a bit disappointed in Harlow, Low, and Levi's story is the truth as even though it was set in the same town and with familiar characters from another series it just felt like it was not really long enough in some ways and too long in areas that could have been glossed over or left out.

I did like Levi and Low together but they are not my favorite couple created by Addison Moore and their supporting characters are not interesting enough for me to want to read their stories any time soon either.

Whitney Briggs was still featured but this time around it was centered on graduates of the college rather than those attending the university.

I have the hugest smile on my face and my heart is swooning over this beautifully written story! I fell in love with Levi and Low. Their story melted my heart. I love Low's inner dialog and her attitude, she is a feisty woman with a heart of gold. She has been through a lot and blames herself for sad things and unfortunate things happening in her life.Levi has been through so much torment in the last few years, he also has a heart of gold and when Low walks into his newly opened restaurant, he is instantly attracted to her. Addison Moore's humor filled with heavy romance writing brought me out of my genre comfort zone. This is the first romance book I have ever read thoroughly and developed a passion for all of the characters. I love their HEA and am going to read all of Addison Moore's romance novels!

Another Amazing book!!

Wow I'm in love with this book!! The storyline is amazing and it flows so well that I'm in the book. It hooked me from the first sentence and still has not let me go. It had me laughing, excited, sad and so many other emotions it's as if I was a character in the book. There's so much loving friendship that's like family and girls sticking up for their friends. I love how it's forbidden and it makes it that much more harder to fight the passion. Low is the main heroine of this book who has a very crappy day and is left homeless and pleads her best friend to let her crash at her place. Things don't go as planned and now she's stuck with Levi. Will she be able to get her life back on track? Find out now and one click this amazing book, you will not regret it.

I can't say enough about this book. It takes you though the whole gamut of emotions. Harlow "Low" to her friends has a complete day from hell which only gets worse as it goes until she walks into The Sloppy Pelican and meets Levi Masterson. Her best friend Ravens older brother who is going to help her out, and her whole life changes. For the better or worse you'll have to read to find out.
This book will make you laugh out loud, it will heat your inner sexy parts and for me, made me cry. Addison is hitting all the feels with this one. It's a winner for my book shelf. I'll be reading it again soon

Also known as Feisty Kisses. I loved this book. Thought it was super cute, liked the characters, and read it pretty quickly. This is a cute romances with very very mild spice. I was nervous reading the reviews but ended it up liking it more than expected. You are getting rom com so don’t expect anything groundbreaking. But for the genre it has enough meat to make it better than your average.

Follow up: read the next two in the series and though it was nice to see the story of those characters plus updates on the old one they weren’t nearly as good as the first. Much more predictable and I didn’t get into them as much.

In the newest SA romantic comedy by Addison Moore, we are introduced to Har (low) and Levi...and from beginning to end you are laughing snd enjoying the characters and situation that Addison Moore surrounds the reader with. The sarcasm and wit of Low definitely wished I had this woman in my life and Levi, I definitely wouldn't mind in my life either
Addison Moore has yet again grabbed the reader and kept me intrigued throughout and pouting when the book ended. Like all books by tjis author, I highly recommend her!

This book had a lot going on. Harlow or Low has the worst luck. Loses her job, kicked out her apartment all in just the morning. When she messages her best friend, Raven, she suggests she stay at her brother's house. Low goes to meet Raven's brother, Levi, and realizes that he is really HOT and she may have a problem keeping her hands to herself. Levi is trying to get over his cheating wife when Low walks into his life and turns it upside down. These two are great together! This book has it all and is a definite re-read!

Low and Levi's story not directly at WB

This is a second chance romance for Levi and Low aka Harlow. Not exactly set at the books college of choice Whitney Briggs, but as a mentioned college. Harlow graduated from there as well as her bestie Raven. Levi is ravens brother and so the story unfolds. Some mild drama, some very unrealistic story content, very mild to non existent sexy times and many roll your eyes moments.
Ok read 2.5 stars, this book ends half way throats you are gifted another WB inspired book.

I didn't get into this book, but I tried and even though I skipped some parts, I finished it. It had all the usual ingredients for a nice rom-com, but it just didn't click. The female characters were a little too hysterical to my taste. I used to love strong females, but here they seemed just crazy, not with substance. The male characters were handsome, grumpy as usual but still blahh. Maybe it was because I read it just after the last Kate Canterbary book, so this one seemed poor and messy. Needless to say I won't read any other book of this series.

I have never been disappointed with something written by Addison Moore and Low Down & Dirty is no exception. I enjoy going back to Hollow Brooke. Loved the character development in this story. Loved that Levi and Harlow were so evenly matched with each other and the other characters in the story complimented them so nicely. Also enjoyed that these characters were older and in a different place in there lives. Suck a great story! Can't wait to visit again with Axel and Lex.
