Billion Dollar Daddy
A stranger wants to buy me for a month.
Ryan has money. Not just real life rich but fairy tale money that can change my life. He offers me $50,000 to be his companion. I don’t know exactly what’s going to be involved but I’m a stripper so I think I have a pretty good idea.
When I get to his home, nothing is as I expect. He doesn’t touch me. Not straight away. He treats me like I’m his girlfriend. Coastal drives in his super-car, meals at restaurants that cost what I’d earn in a month. He tells me his story and little by little I fall for the gorgeous man beneath the reserved shell. I know I shouldn’t. I fight the feelings in my heart because this is all a fantasy. A dream that’s going to end when thirty days have passed.
And it does.
Walking away is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my life.
Until I realize I’m late.
He’s going to think I’ve fallen pregnant on purpose so I decide not to tell him. Then I get a call that changes everything.
Ryan’s been hiding something from me and suddenly I find that I need to fight for more than just his love. I need to fight for his life.
BILLION DOLLAR DADDY is a 55,000 word novel with a happy ever after ending. For your continued reading pleasure it includes BIG D - A Sports Romance for a limited time only.

The couple: Ryan and Jessie
Romance genre: contemporary
Part of a series: Yes (Billionaire)
Length: 223 pages
Plot: The book starts with Ryan going to a slightly rundown strip club. Once there, he is drawn to one of the dancers, Cindy. He books a private dance with her, but then once in the room, he decides he can't do it, and he leaves. He meets up with her in the parking lot, though, and takes her home. They talk for a bit, and share some personal information. The next night, he goes back, but with a proposition: he'd like Jessie (Cindy is her stage name) to spend the next month with him, in exchange for $50,000.
Her late husband left her with his massive gambling debts, so she agrees, and moves in with him for the month. But a week or two in, they go to Las Vegas, and Jessie finds out a secret he was trying to keep. Hurt, she leaves, leaving everything, including the money, behind. Once home she realizes that she needs to get in touch with him again, but he gets in touch with her first. What he has to say leads to the twist at the end.
Character development: So I was reading this at school while the students were working, and had to pretend to have major allergies to explain why my eyes were, um, watering. I did not expect this from this author (which is not an insult - it's just that any previous titles of hers that I've read have not had this depth to them).
Jessie and Ryan were each a little broken in their own ways, for their own reasons.
Jessie is grieving the loss of her husband an the loss of her previous life, and Ryan is also grieving the loss of his wife, while also still thinking about his mother and where he came from. The connection to that last bit is a thread of the plot, something that isn't explicitly mentioned until the end. All we know until then is that Ryan is definitely struggling with something, even if he has managed to calm himself enough to live in the present, for a while at least. That's part of what makes this story so poignant. Both Jessie and Ryan have had to place themselves squarely in the present in order to deal with the past. They've both realized that nothing will change what has already happened, and the only thing they can do is move forward. They've simply chosen to do that in different ways.

Now I’m a different Jessie Ford. A little bit broken. A lot less hopeful about the future. A whole ton more realistic about the highs and lows that life has the potential to shove in our direction.

Ryan Crawford is a man who has it all- fame, money , riches, cars, business sense yet he is so lonely. He just saw his doctor and found out he has an incurable disease and no one there to help him during this terrible time. The recent loss of his loving wife, Corina only adds to his depression and loss and makes him seek to do something radical. He is lonely, he misses his wife and his diagnosis only adds to his emotional state. He seeks companionship for his plan to come to fruition.
Jessie Ford is down on her luck with the recent death of her husband, Jackson and all the debts he left behind. She ends up working in a strip club as a stripper to pay off her deceased husband’s debts. That is where she meets Ryan -- He approached her with a job offer, a really fantastic job offer. Will she take it? Will her heart come out in tact after working for Ryan? Will she even help him with what he is trying to do or will she walk away to protect herself and HER heart?
This is a very emotional story , one that makes you think and take a step back and look at both sides. There is some beautiful passion and emotional angst going. Beautifully written story from Ms. Brother.
My Rating: 4.4 stars *****

I really enjoyed this book, at first I thought it was predictable and it was in a way but with a twist that turns it unpredictable. The characters were so likable and their chemistry was wonderful, the sex was hot and all over this was a very unexpected emotional and romantic read. Be warmed if you are expecting a pregnancy from the beginning though because it doesn't happen until very late in the book.

Stephanie Brother has outdone herself yet again. She has written a beautiful, emotional, heartwarming, and unforgettable story of that grabs you from the start and holds onto you till the very end. Billion Dollar Daddy is a story of two broken people searching for the impossible... a love strong enough to put the pieces of their broken hearts back together. With secrets, mystery, betrayal, tragedy, grief, hope, and love, you won't be able to put the book down.

Casi logran engañarme! Le doy esta puntuación porque a pesar de ser un libro más o menos común, los capítulos finales me conmovieron mucho y atraparon tanto a mi mente como a mi corazón, sentí mucho por Ryan, su historia y el final de ella.

Terrible!
I found the characters to be 1 dimensional and boring, just made me cringe reading it. Waste of money in my opinion.

This is another great read from Stephanie Brother! When Ryan walks into a strip club the last thing he thought he would end up doing is offer a woman money to be his companion for a month, but that's just what happens when he sees the stripper Candy, aka Jessie. Jessie is doing what she must to make ends meet and trying to get over the loss of her husband. When she meets Ryan she can see he is haunted just like her, but when offered to spend time with him for a month she didn't expect to fall for the broken man. Ryan has it all money, looks and power, but he still grieves the loss of his wife. Two broken souls come together to enjoy each others' company and have fun for the next month, but when Jessie learns the full truth of who Ryan is she will run back to the life she knows, leaving her heart with him. I loved Ryan and Jessie, both of them are damaged and yet have the ability to heal the other if only they have the courage to admit it before it's too late. With an added secret medical condition threatening what they could have and this story pulled at my heartstrings from beginning to end. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Some good ideas. Some... not so good. All in all, poor execution. The sexy scenes are ridiculous. It’s a shame we can’t give zero star to a book...

This was unlike any of the other books of Stephanie's that I have read. There was such emotion behind these two characters and the paths that they faced there story was hot as all of her stories are but that for me took a back burner to the characters and the scenes that progressed throughout. This was a great read'!

Deep, Emotional
This book was a different read then what I’m used to with Stephanie Brother books. I had an idea of what to expect from different comments I read on Facebook groups, but wow. It didn’t turn out anyway I was expecting. It absolutely blew me away. This story made me feel all the emotions. Happy, sad, angry, devastated, heartbroken. However, at the end, I was at peace with all that I read. I don’t usually do book reviews, but this is definitely my new favorite from Stephanie. If you’re thinking about reading it, do it.

Whoa Baby!!
Heart wrenching love story about a lonely billionaire who has a secret and the woman he craves to spend time with him. It’s just an arrangement, right? But the heart wants what the heart wants and Ryan and Jessie find their HEA despite the adversities they face. Grab those tissues! You’re going to need them!

Wow!!
I sent through so many emotions with this book.
I laughed and cried. I cried, lump in the throat, sobbing tears. Thankfully, the author brought some good times back. This was a rough one to read, but it was so amazing.
Even with the tears in the story, there were lots of hot moments. They are fire together.

Wonderful Story & Audible Listen🎧 Captivating & Heartfelt!
Billion Dollar Daddy
By: Stephanie Brother
Narrated by: Kinsey Cass, Chip Lincolnshire
I loved everything about this book from Stephanie Brother’s wonderful writing style to the interesting storylines and characters she created. I was completely engrossed by the book, it grabbed not only my attention but my heart too. I adored both lead characters, Jessie and Ryan, both lost their spouses and are grieving in their own ways. Jessie’s late husband left her in a boat load of debt, she was forced to work as a stripper to bail herself out of it. Ryan strolled into the club she was working in and saw something in her, maybe it was the flash of something he saw in her eyes, something he could relate to. Lonely and needing her by his side he decides to proposition her with an offer, an offer she could not refuse. She would be his companion for 30 days in exchange for fifty grand. There was great chemistry between the two, I thought they were great together and for each other. I loved how everything plays out in this book, it is well plotted and has a whole lot of heart in it. There is never a dull moment, with plenty of drama, a touch of mystery, I kept wondering what the real deal was with Ryan and what was he planning, the author keeps you pretty much in the dark about it, until the end. There are a couple of great twists and turns as well as some hot romance. Stephanie Brother, thank you for this wonderful story and the emotional rollercoaster ride.
I listened to the Audible edition, Kinsey Cass and Chip Lincolnshire are terrific narrators and voice artists. They bring the characters to life, giving each their own voice and personality. They did a great job portraying each character and projecting their emotions and passion into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen🎧

I saw this come up as a suggestion on Amazon. I see so many of these Billion dollar books and I kind of always ignore then. They usually a bit corny in my opinion. I read a sample and immediately started reading it. It was shorter than I thought because there is a second book included. Though short, This was actually very well written. It was very emotional; both characters having lost their spouses and the grief that had consumed them. I liked the concept of this book and had no idea what was going to happen but was shocked when it did. You obviously know that there is a pregnancy in this book because of the title but it is not Until the end. I liked a lot about this book, but I felt that you didn't really see their feelings grow. You see Jessie's growing feelings, and you see Ryan afraid of his feelings, but I didn't feel it. They liked each other and after the shocker it was all the sudden love. I didn't feel Ryan got passed his wife's death- not over it per say, but dealt with it. Maybe I missed it, but I didn't know how long his wife had been gone. I saw something mentioned about how he was unable to sleep for the last fee months but that is all. If that is the case all of this shit happened way too soon in my opinion. I felt that he was only with Jessie because of the pregnancy. He was sad when she left and missed her, but he didn't seem like he was lost without her. Maybe if the book was longer it would have been better but I just didn't feel the "love" with them. Jessie mentions that while he is incapacitated that she loves him and that she's pregnant, that the baby is what saved him- not her. That combined with everything else made It a bit hard to get passed.

(audiobook) This book took me by surprise! With the title and the cheap cover, I assumed it would be a sexy PWP without much depth. Oh was I wrong. The feels!
Don’t be mistaken, it was hot and sexy, with a big appendage and fluid exchanges. But there was more to it, and lots of angst on top of that.
First, the male and female voices were very good. They did several voices each, and they were all recognizable. Even when the chapter was narrated by one of them, the other would do his voices, creating dialogues that made the story even more... alive.
Ryan became one of my fav book boyfriends instantly. He’s a bit moody, but also passionate. And his story is heartwrenching.
The drama part was maybe a bit too much--the reason why “they can’t be together”--but it’s okay.
I really felt for the characters and their struggles, and rooted for them. Go ahead and read/listen to this one!
Quickie
Series: standalone
Hashtags: #billionaire romance #stripper #surprise pregnancy
Triggers: suicide attempt
Main couple: Jessie Ford & Ryan Crawford
Hotness: 4/5
Romance: 4/5
+ Amazing narrators, and they play their character (and other characters of the same sex) even in the other’s chapters, so it sounds like dialogues
- Maybe the writing wasn’t always top quality

I received this audiobook via a promo code and this is my voluntary review.
Ryan has lost his way, his wife is gone and although his wealth gives the illusion that his life should be a party, he's deeply depressed, and lonely so he decides to create a bucket list and enlists the services of a pretty blond named Jessie from a strip club who he connected with to help him tick off each item. Basically the sad billionaire playboy version of the Lonely Chick who accompanied Zac Efron around in the movie New Years Eve. Jessie can't really say no to the $50,000 because of the debt her dead husbands left her in but she can't continue their arrangement longer than a few days when it becomes apparent after an argument in Vegas that the same business that fuels Ryan's incredible fortune is the same one responsible for her current predicament.
Only when Jessie leaves Vegas, she takes more than just Ryan's heart with her when she goes.
Narration was awesome, this was a quirky melancholy twist on Pretty Woman minus the horrible judgemental sales assistant and Ryan is far from the Jerk-off Alpha Types normally found ordering scantily clad women around the bedroom.

Ryan Crawford has it all money, prestige, cars and businesses but his recent doctor visit wasn't perfect and he needed a plan. The recent loss of his loving wife, Corina only adds iron to his lonely, desperate fire. He seeks companionship for his plan to move on with his life and that plan includes Jessie Ford. Will he find happiness with Jessie? Can he keep his secret from Jessie? How will he complete his mission?
Jessie Ford is down on her luck with the recent death of her husband, Jackson and all the debts that have been left with her to pay off. She ended up as a stripper at the Kitty Cat Club where Ryan spotted her working one night. He approached her with the best paying job ever. Will she accept Ryan's offer? What will she do to protect her heart? Can she help Ryan in his mission?
The story was charming and well written with a tad of twist to the plot. I enjoyed reading this book and looking forward to reading the next book.

Ryan is out to combat the loneliness that has taken his life since his wife's' death, his recent visit with the doctor has not helped that situation.
All the money he has cannot solve this issue alone; he seeks refuge at a strip club, where he lays eyes on a beautiful dancer Jesse, who looked like she would rather be anywhere but that place!
Upon meeting Jesse, he knows she is the women he needs to fill the empty hole in his life! Finding that she is a recent widow, and has a massive debt to pay he offers her a job- be his companion for 30 days for $50,000 at the end she walks away free and clear no strings.
Should be easy right?
Wow! I should not have read this before getting my day started today! What an emotional rollercoaster ride! I loved every minute of it! Had me from the very first page of this intriguing read! Stephaine Brother has exceeded my exceptions on this one! Well done putting to putting my feels meter on high! I highly recommend this book

3.5 Stars for me.
I thought it will be another light-hearted Pretty Woman-ish ero read from Stephanie Brother, but it's not. Yes, it's still sexy and have those essential parts like pointing out that Ryan has above average pee-pee (haha) and swept-me-off-my-feet-IMMEDIATELY kind of plot line but it has more drama into it. It feels different in general. Or maybe I'm just used to her other works including (almost) indestructible over-the-top type of men.
It feels like almost 85% of it is foreplay and just when we're about to reach the climax (just when I'm about to bawl my eyes out a.k.a literally the highlight of the story), it skipped to post-coital cuddling. It kind of bothered me that we're given a bomb such as the revelation of Ryan's illness, then after it's lit, it seems like it just went over the issue and go straight to a happy ending. I mean, what will happen to Ryan now? Is he gonna get worse anytime soon? Or is he gonna have a remission just at least until they are able to live their happily ever after? This kinda frustrates me. Sigh.

Best Stephanie Brother Book Ever!!!
OMG!!! Billion Dollar Daddy had me bawling my eyes out. This is THE BEST Stephanie Brother book I have ever read. It's heartbreakingly beautiful. It ripped my heart then put it back together again. I can't remember the last time I cried like this. The sex scenes are pretty hot and intense but it was the sweetness and heartbreaking anguish that got my attention the most.
This book is about 2 lonely, troubled people that are struggling to make it through each and every day, one day at a time. Finding one another is like seeing a light at the end of a never ending tunnel. They become an emotional, mental and physical comfort to each other that makes every day together a whole lot brighter. But nothing lasts forever, does it? Secrets get revealed that cause everything to come crashing down around them. Is it possible to recover from this devastation or has it created irreparable harm?

Another amazing, beautiful and well written story by author Stephanie Brother. Billion Dollar Daddy had my emotions running wild. I think this is her best book yet. It had my full attention from beginning to end. If you are looking for a great fast paced read with some emotion, intrigue and lots of hot steamy scenes then pick up a copy for yourself you will not be disappointed. Jessie and Ryan characters were amazing. Their stories tore at my heart but the intense chemistry they shared was hottt!! . Jessie lost her husband and inherited his debt. She now was working as a stripper at the Kitty Kat Club when she caught Ryan's attention. Ryan also suffered a loss. His wife died and now he received more bad news. After finding out more about her he offers Jessie a deal she can't refuse. Will she take it? What is Ryan hiding? Will there be a HEA for these two? l voluntarily read an advance readers copy of this book.
